probably the incredible writing and satire on the culture itself.

In the early seasons, the show was very counter-culture and presented things that normally wouldn't be allowed on TV. For the last decade, it's dropped any edge it had and just became typical Comedy Central schlock that doesn't actually push any boundaries or do anything shocking.

Dave Chappelle is doing that kind of shit on Netflix right now. They've had years since the troony craze took over the mainstream to poke holes in it and they waited until it was safe and accepted to crack jokes.

trannies being so accepted is precisely why it's an unsafe move to mock then thiughbeit

Their first episode making fun of trannies was in 2005. There may have been one before that too.

Trannies started being accepted in the mainstream around 2015. Before that, everyone made fun of them with impunity.

OP said they've been sucking ass since the last decade. Pretty sure it started being bad around season 11 or 12.

          I know right?!
Why can't there be any based shows where they point the finger at israelites, Black folk and homosexuals and troons!?

South Park is either gold or shit, no inbetween.
You should watch Scott Tenorman Must Die S5E4, which is genuinely regarded by almost everyone as one of the best South Park episodes ever. If you don't like that then you probably won't ever like South Park.

It's not though in terms of humor. It's memorable because of how fricked up it is but calling it the best episode ever is simply moronic. The carrot scene is funny though. It's like when people call the episode of Futurama with Fry's dog the best episode when it's not even close to one of the best. They remember it because it's sad and sentimental, not because it's a classic brilliantly funny episode.

Something can be funny because it is fricked up.

Nah that shit was just cruel in a weird way. Kenny dying in wacky elaborate ways is funny. Murdering someone's innocent parents and feeding them to him for revenge is an odd attempt at humor and it's didn't really land with me comedically.

That's a dumb rebuttal to a fair and subjective opinion. At least express what the attempt at humor is?
