The most compelling argument in support of it is that the video distracted him from growing his channel years ago, which set it back, but the video itself isn't destroying anything. It's not even remotely offensive, and while it's pretty cringe, it's self-contained cringe. He didn't harass or harm anyone. In fact, he probably made some animator's year. They had a long period of spending money to attract people and now they are trying to build a succesful business model based on that that can earn that money back.
