You mean the episode where Ed did the thing?

For me, it's Dawn of the Eds

The Halloween special. I always liked the fall aesthetic, and it was nice to get something with that and not have it be a school episode. Outside of the specials though, it would be Little Ed Blue.

It's hard for me to pick an individual favorite. I'd say Dawn of the Eds because the whole episode is comfy, but that's kinda unfair because it's Season 1 and not really indicative of the show as a whole. Probably the one where they pretend to be each other, or else the school episode where they bust out by constructing a plane.

    >S1
    Look into My Eds
    >S2
    One + One = Ed
    >S3
Don't Rain on My Ed (also favorite overall)
    >S4
    They Call Him Mr. Ed
Didn't really watch much of S5 (stopped after "I Am Curious Ed" and "No Speak Da Ed"), but I at least watched the movie
Hell, the first four seasons are just that good enough that there's still a LOT of runner-ups like the ones the other anons mentioned

The one where Eddy turns Jimmy into a sumo wrestler.

Tie between the cardboard city episode and Ed thinking he’s a monster. Though honestly I don’t think there’s a bad episode of EENE, even the weaker school episodes still have great animation and laughs.

    >only four winter episodes
    >two are specials and the other are the last episodes before the movie
Did they not have a lot to work with?

An Ed Is Born. It convinced me the Eds should have had a whole side business doing home movies, it fits their personalities like a glove.

Movie basically took up all of their efforts by that point. If the movie didn't exist, there'd probably be a lot more winter episodes before the inevitable half-hour finale instead of a full blown movie.

iirc Cartoon Network gave Antonucci a choice between making Season 6(which would've been taken place in winter) and making a movie. He chose the movie.

Why was Double D lusted over by every single girl?
    >Kankers always ready to kiss him
    >Sarah had a crush on him
    >Nazz jumped at the chance to be with him at the school dance

      Look at his competition.
      >israeli jackass
      >Dumb smelly ape
      >Prissy femboy
      >butthole jock
      >Gibberish speaking foreigner
      >Bald kid obsessed with a piece of wood
Not to say that Edd didn't have flaws, but he was genuinely the best pick out of all the other boys.

      >Ed is a disgusting neanderthal
      >Eddy is a craven jackass, disgustingly self-centered, and probably going to grow up into a wife beater judging by his temper
      >Rolf is about as bad as Ed in terms of being crude and boorish, though less stupid/more self-aware; getting with him is probably the equivalent of trying to marry into the Amish or something, have to wholly adopt into the lifestyle and backward expectations of the rest of the family, would inevitably have to perform grueling chores
      >Jimmy is young, effeminate, and incapable, and cries at the drop of a hat
      >Johnny is treated as obnoxious and kind of a freak, puts off the other kids and gets bullied by Kevin
I mean the only other option is Kevin, and the Kankers did hit on him a few times iirc. Their choice is between putting up with Kevin's douchery or Double D's wimpiness and tendency to go Soapbox Sadie, and you know the Kankers wouldn't even give a frick about that. Marie flat-out said she only expected him to do her laundry, he would be the house husband she comes home to and pounds into the mattress.

Gimme Gimme Never Ed. The ending with the rollercoaster still makes me laugh. Close second goes to the beach episode.

The Kankers actually did care about the Ed's. Marie and Lee were upset about Double D snd Eddy getting hurt.

We knew this before the movie, they made the Eds some delicious burgers once

The one with the newspapers, the cardboard city, the one where reality breaks, the elevator to space, the one with the bush with the secret clubhouse in it filled with snacks.

One + One = Ed. There's nothing cooler than unraveling the very fabric of reality simply by learning how everything works. They were like toon physicists studying the Toonforce. If it wasn't for that giant pencil, they would be Gods.
