I don’t really like how they’re intentionally trying to mimic Edd’s old style. It was charming at the time but it’s strange to deliberately limit and degrade your own art style to keep up with an old legacy rather than try to make something unique and new
And they both kneel to the original Eddsworld.
Sure, the original Eddsworld doesn't hold up very well today either, but I do feel like it does have better jokes, if Edd hadn't died I'm sure it would've ended up being a great cartoon eventually.
Going off by this eddisode alone (and part 1), could you list ANY personality traits of the main three? >hard mode: ANY personality trait that isn't shared between the three and is unique to one
The pacing of the jokes is so bad, the very first joke is already way too long. If Edd were directing it, the guy would have either died as soon as he said his line or something unexpected would have happened.
Got a couple laughs out of me but I agree, the pacing is atrocious. I'm still happy to see Eddsworld trucking along, it clearly makes a lot of kids very happy. But they could really sharpen the directing of these things. Surf n Turf Wars definitely didn't need to be 20+ minutes
Man there's something off-putting about the fact that this series is still going even though its creator is dead. If I recall correctly thats what Edd himself wanted, but I dunno, just doesn't feel right.
Mercy kill it.
3 out of 4 the main voice actors are gone, the whole appeal of the show was "what if an irl group of friends had their own cartoon", that group doesn't exist anymore so the show is completely pointless and depressing now and long past its expiration date.
I'd do exactly what they're doing now, just streamline the production more and tighten the humor. I think Bing/Matt have a solid grasp on what Eddsworld is and what Eddsworld should be, and the business model they've set around it seems stable, it's just that the actual episodes aren't very well executed. I think their commitment to keep the show going is admirable, and I'll keep rooting for them to put out more classics.
Eddsworld should've ended when Edd passed away.
the pacing, it's so fricking slow

Wow, that was bad.
>50% of the crowd is blacks and browns
It's official, the series is dead.
Why is that bad?
That's just Britain in CURRENT YEAR
>Edd lives
Very poor choice of words
It’s a accurate portrayal of modern day UK so it’s fine
Eddsworld died when Edd died.
>Tomsworld is ASDFmovie humor
>Mattsworld is gore and monsters
Interesting
Well that settles it. Beyond kneels to Legacy

I'll be honest, these were always pretty lame but the guy dying didn't endear me to them any

uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh Edd likes coke?
I didnt watch it, is that in?
it was in part 1 only, but it still counts
Why can't it just stay dead? At this point it's just pissing on Edd's corpse.

If you took control of Eddsworld what would you do?
Mercy kill it.
