Seriously, Pixar let some first generation Asian immigrant in North America live out their childhood trauma with hundreds of millions of dollars

        THEY DID IT AGAIN

Actually if she burned hot enough, he should just turn into steam.

Asians are a hot commodity in Hollywood. They tried to cash in on it.

Yes. Whoever greenlit a 200m romcom needs to get fired.

If this movie cost 100m, I could see it making some money. It doesn't look any better than Spiderverse, Mario, or Puss in Boots to justify its bloated budget.

How about a Romcom starring giant monsters, mechas, and monster girls?

This. The most successful romcom of all time only made $350 million. Whoever budgeted this wasn't thinking. They just said "Pixar gets 200 million per movie no matter what it is."

This was never gonna sell. Kids aren't interested in fricking romantic comedies, either aim at an adult audience or pick a different genre.

We're still living in the world of the Boomer youth. It's like entire decades have simply not happened. World War 2 ended only a few years ago, and the Civil Rights movement is happening now.

I sometimes wonder if humanity is evolving too fast. We went from nothing but text graphics to AI art generators in a span of 40 years. Makes me feel bad for boomers sometimes with how much the world has been changing. They haven't even solved their own issues let alone all the new ones. Makes me fear when I get older.

I don't feel bad for boomers because life extending technology will see most of them unretire and continue to plague society into the 2080s. I'm with the other guy, I'm tired of living in the fricking 1970s, socially.

          >I sometimes wonder if humanity is evolving too fast.
No, it's not. The truth is we really need to adapt far faster than we currently are because we should have been in the year 4000 by now because we realize we are only one nuke, one gamma ray burst, one surprise black hole or one basic ass rock in space away from damnation and we let too many things like ignorance via religion and fear of techno growth hold us back generations of evolutionary insight. We know too much about what can end us all to the point we should have already colorized the moon and mars so we can have far less to worry about survival wise.

The boomer generation is the last bit of ignorant upbringing the human race has been like for 20+ thousands of years and there's evidence we reset technically more than 2 times at least in the past. We are going to die if we don't evolve now. The past should not be worshiped, our ignorance will doom us into extinction.

These stories are so fricking fanfic-y for women. Rich boyfriend lets you relive your younger years, in paradise, learning the things you want to learn instead of inheriting your father's store.
