Then some oh it's gotta be almost a decade now morons decided that was offensive or whatever and put her back in old body while the owner of the old body, Kwannon, also got her old body back. Nobody cares about Kwannon. She did exist for a bit in 90s but was dead inside of a year.

The Krakoa wave they did of Legends was a huge pegwarmer. In general toy collectors are about retro designs and that wave being just the current looks worked against it. I could see them do a Betsy since it's such a distinct look but I wouldn't hold out hope for the others, especially given the amount of new tooling needed for some of them.

Bisexuality in comics pretty much means they are too afraid to say the character is gay from that point on as she will only date women. DC does this more often than Marvel who at least are honest about it when they make characters gay, they will say it out loud and try to squirm around it like DC likes to do.

Everyone is tired of her shit by now, she's not written a single good book during Krakoa. For better or worse superhero comics have a tendency to bounce back. If Betsy being the main Cap is going to stick then we need a bunch of creators who burn for it and are willing to fight for it as well as reader support. Otherwise I can see them bringing Brian back and having them share the role equally as being a good middle ground. But I cannot see them keep this "shit on Brian constantly" narrative because honestly does anyone besides Tini like it? I've seen tons of posts of people who want Brian to get respect and about zero that think Betsy is yasss slaayyy queeen.

No I understand exactly where you're coming from. Being a fan of characters that never seem to get much love is frustrating and when they do attract attention and get reworked into something shitty that feels even worse.Sometimes I just want to reach through the screen and punch the writer for their incredibly awful takes on things like the current Power Girl run which is the worst fricking thing.
For Brian though I don't think he's fricked. The character has never done anything that's worth burying him over and he's been replaced as Captain Britain a few times before and always come back. Plus people still like Excalibur (the original series) so he has a strong backbone of stories that support him being a fun and good character. We just need to round the current corner where Tini's hell-bent attempts to make Betsy relevant fizzle out and get shuffled aside. Maybe not to the point of kicking Betsy out but more to the point of getting Brian back in.
Betsy's romance with Rachel is shit, though. They should drop that because they have zero chemistry and zero things in common

And their Kang series from last year was a total disaster that missed EVERY SINGLE POINT of what makes Kang a compelling villain. I've learned that anytime I see their names on a book it's probably going to have a character I like being written badly
