It’s so shitty and low stakes compared to s1. What’s the point of the Martian tentacle monster cliffhanger after it’s been defeated? Nobody cares about that plot line. And the black brain guy, could’ve been better done if they stuck with him. Why do they keep jumping around with the plot
unironically very different. this is not like a cheap animated show has cheap animation. it looks more like they had to release unfinished footage for some reason.
even a shitty anime is not like this.
Going on hiatus was a super moronic move, who could have known? Everyone could have known and did know. Everyone everywhere who still cared enough after season 1 knew it was a bad idea to split the season in half. Everyone.
They if gave a explanation on why they paused the show in the first place I think people would be more hyped. They initially said there would be no breaks and the breaks between seasons would only be 1 year max. They fricking LIED and never explained themselves. I STILL DONT KNOW WHY THE SHOW STOPPED AFTER A FEW EPISODES.
I'd bet my left nut that the voice acting talent didn't make themselves available. Like is it really necessary to hire Rhea Seahorn to be a minor character in a few episodes.
i enjoyed season 1 but i watched the first episode of season 2 and it was just boring as frick and so didnt watch anymore of it. left wondering why i liked season 1 now.
They should’ve just sped forward with the Viltrumite story. Who the frick cares about generic alien or generic multiverse storylines. You’re not meant to have an entire season of literal filler.
>split the season for absolutely no reason (they could have just delayed it and released it all together) >when the second part comes out it's 2 filler episodes
Yeah they are fricking moronic
I'm fine with just fighting side villains in a hero tv show but not when it's 50% of the second part people had to wait for
The show's only interesting premise has already been exhausted. Now it's standard cape shit good vs evil but even gayer because of modern sensibilities.
The alien space empire composed entirely of a race of supermans actually mattering and progressing politically in the story is interesting. I doubt it will ever get to that point in the show though.
I have a doubt, did the writing of the series simply went to shit after S1 or that's just how the comics are too? Total shit after Omniman is gone for the first time.
Rex's power is the result of government testing and such. The show does a shit job of presenting it, but he's actually pretty strong and durable, like pretty much everyone in the comic.
in terms of storytelling it completely removes any stakes from the show if a character can get shot in the head and have their brains leaking out all over the room, but then be basically fine later in the same episode
also, shrinking ray dies in the comics so I have no idea why they decided to make it seem like she died in the previous episode, just to be like "oh actually she's completely fine and she just needs to take a little nap"
I've read the comics, so I don't care as much but yeah, I noticed the hype for this was insane back then and now it's like nobody is talking about for some reason.
They are adapting a boring part of the series. Things do get much more interesting but shit this period was boring even back in the comic and they could have done more to make it more exciting
>show sucks
>0 hype
yup
>WHAT IF SUPERMAN... BAD!?
It's more nuanced than that
It's the least nuanced take on it I've ever seen
Is that why season 2 is full of fille-I mean nuance?

Because it's based on the comics. Why do you ask pointless questions?
>cutting edge animation
All that time and this is what we get? The frick are they doing?
It was even worse in season 1
wait no fricking way
is this real???
this cant be real
it's just like my mid-00s newgrounds flash animations
You wankers don't seem to mind when your porn waifus are animated like paper cutouts, why is this different?
Frick off Rogan
those are usually animated with the budget of a cheese sandwich, not with baby dick sucking budget Rogan has
unironically very different. this is not like a cheap animated show has cheap animation. it looks more like they had to release unfinished footage for some reason.
even a shitty anime is not like this.
kay why ess
Reminds me of dragon ball super
But but AI will be bad!!!1
They literally spent the entire animation budget on that Atom Eve special which was great but was it really worth it if this is the end result?
That plus le celebrity voice actors and pop culture songs
looks like they fall for korean frauds again
I can't stop watching and laughing.
If the writing staff doesn't get to make Debi say Frick, they rebel.
Well, if he's invincible how am I supposed to watch it?
I always feel guilty after finishing an episode. Like it's so fricking garbage but I'm still watching it for like 3 minute scenes of people fighting.

kids are on tiktok they dont watch cartoons, the adulta are busy watching shogun
>Omni-man carries the show
>he barely appears in s2 then they go on a break the episode he comes back
That episode was petty kino though
i enjoyed season 1 but i watched the first episode of season 2 and it was just boring as frick and so didnt watch anymore of it. left wondering why i liked season 1 now.
Omniman literally carried the show
After his climax battle with Max it became another capeshit story
It's gets even more boring bar Nolan carrying episode 4
>2 more episodes
And you already know that nothing will happen, season will end with Marc being stuck in other universe
They should’ve just sped forward with the Viltrumite story. Who the frick cares about generic alien or generic multiverse storylines. You’re not meant to have an entire season of literal filler.

can he just frick the pink girl and then get raped already
still can't believe that ass pull of rex surviving the headshot
Regenerator Rex
he survives in the comics so it's fine
kate will also be revealed to have another clone somewhere they didnt know about
>the shrinking lady survives too
So zero stakes just like normal capeshit
no because the random Asian super hero no one cares about dies
why did the show act like i was meant to care deeply about this side character dying?
They could have just made him not get shot, I genuinely don't get it
Rex's power is the result of government testing and such. The show does a shit job of presenting it, but he's actually pretty strong and durable, like pretty much everyone in the comic.

Thanks for the reminder OP
On second thought maybe having two "superman bad" series on the same streaming service at the same time was a dumb idea
boring comic boring show
it feels so mellow dramatic at the moment. i do not care about any of the drama or conflict this season.
the plot just stops moving so characters can just talk about their emotions for ages. barely anything is progressing. it fricking sucks
>multiverse traveling Yakub
Let me know when the entire season is out.
Two more weeks.
I thought the duplicating girl always kept a backup copy at home
They are adapting a boring part of the series. Things do get much more interesting but shit this period was boring even back in the comic and they could have done more to make it more exciting
both episodes have been garbage
extremely low T and constant musical inserts. I can tell that women were more involved with this season than last.
