the scene where the guy lets himself get shot in the head because he realizes he's not going to have sex with the girl because his friend already did is kind of funny
>Russians get pissed off by the Hollywood perception of the Soviets using human wave tactics with minimal weapons and ammo while being forced on by blocking parties in the rear >"Totally inaccurate" >Jump to 2023 >Ukrainian war showcased Russian convicts being sent into the open battlefield without weapons or supplies only to be mowed down by the Ukies, if they retreat they're turned around by blocking parties.
>Russians get pissed off by the Hollywood perception of the Soviets using human wave tactics
they did it in WWI, Russian civil war, Winter War, WWII and the Chinese communists did it for several decades, including throughout WWII and Korean war.
>sleeping in a tunnel with dirty, stinky comrades >somehow one female is there >she wants to have dirty sex surrounded by dirty comrades in a tunnel and picks you
Seems like a weird Russian fantasy
It did inspire the now defunct Russian campaigns in the first CoD games that were so good at the very least even though they to were also historically bullshit
If you play the Soviet campaigns in CoD 1 and 2 and Finest Hour they take a ton of inspiration from Enemy at the Gates. Ever since CoD4 now the Russians are always the bad guys
I should have specified that I was after a QRD on the "now defunct" part of the post.
Did you mean that the Russians used to be heroes in CoD, but then became the enemy?
Art imitates life.
In Cod 1 and 2 the Soviets were portrayed in a positive light. Cod 3 thier campaign was replaced by a polish one since public opinion was starting to turn on Russia then in Cod World At War the Russian campaign was just a series of war crimes basically.
The WW2 Call of Duty games each had different sections of the campaign where you played as British, American, French Reistance or Russian soldiers for a few levels. The Russian levels generally involved Stalingrad which hammered home the desperation and went shortages(Potatos instead of grenades in the tutorial, "first name gets the rifle, the second man gets the rifle", human wave tactics) and there almost always is a sniper section that is reminiscent of Enemy at the Gates
This movie pisses me off. Nobody has ever put this movie on for any reason other than to see a sniper duel with Ed Harris, but then most of the movie is actually some gay Hollywoodnlove triangle. The scene of Jude Law going to see his girlfriend in in the infirmary at the end is so sanitized its laughable.
Is it possible to look as good as Ed Harris bald without having bright blue eyes?
You would probably end up looking like a neurotic israelite MD with Ed Harris features and dead brown eyes. Hazel and Green can probably pass
the scene where the guy lets himself get shot in the head because he realizes he's not going to have sex with the girl because his friend already did is kind of funny
That was the brother of Ralph Fiennes.
well that girl was Rachel Weisz so you gotta feel for the guy
This movie seems insanely historically inaccurate.
pure soviet propaganda legitimized by vasilys diary or some bs of that nature
where you there?

You don't think propaganda exists?
>>Jump to 2023
khohols got annihilated in zaporozhye lmao wtf you on Black person
>annihilated in zapor
>Ukies won the war
Well that was quick.
won the war
and then you woke up
>
>frontline moving in kievs direction
>Russians get pissed off by the Hollywood perception of the Soviets using human wave tactics
they did it in WWI, Russian civil war, Winter War, WWII and the Chinese communists did it for several decades, including throughout WWII and Korean war.
The movie exagerates how bad the ammo and equipment depression was for drama and raised stakes.
In reality mid-war soviet soldiers were absolutely decked to the gills and still got cut down in droves.
You forgot Islam
Hitler hated white culture
Whatever you say Ezra
>kills exclusively white Christian’s
>but I don’t hate them
England forced the War.
>Attack country
>Her allies declare war on you.
Woah! How could this happen!
Poland was murdering Germans.
Any proof of that at all? Were they also murdering Russians?
inb4 beady eyes
Hitler was white culture
*is
The sex scene in this movie was hot as frick.
>sleeping in a tunnel with dirty, stinky comrades
>somehow one female is there
>she wants to have dirty sex surrounded by dirty comrades in a tunnel and picks you
Seems like a weird Russian fantasy
it's more of the abruptness of yanking down her stinky britches and laying one in her before anyone notices
It did inspire the now defunct Russian campaigns in the first CoD games that were so good at the very least even though they to were also historically bullshit

QRD on this?

Cod 5 (World at War) had the best Russian campaign of them all though, and that also took from Enemy at the Gates
Eh even WaW portrayed the Russians as savages with multiple choices to commit war crimes
