    >I got there 30 mins early (first one there) hoping to sit with Jiro Ono-san. While both Jiro Ono and Yoshikazu was there, Jiro himself only served 3 Japanese regular customers, whereas the foreigners were all served by Yoshikazu. From the beginning, they were completely cold and neither even looked at us or acknowledged us in any way as they walked out or while serving. The pace was indeed fast but I had no problem keeping up, whereas a Thai customer sitting near us started to have sushi accumulate. I felt like the sushi was placed in front of us sloppily and roughly...it almost felt slammed down. No introduction of the sushi whatsoever. What I was most disappointed by was the shari....it kept falling apart! I've now been to 5 top sushi-ya in Tokyo and this is the only time where this has happened. Some pieces literally had 10 - 15 grains fall off. it was really difficult to eat. I will say tho their neta preparation was some of the best I've had tho. Some pieces like the awabi and the karumaebi were delicious on the topping side, but once again, the overall product was disappointing because the shari kept falling apart. I'm not sure if this is normal, but a lot of the cooked netas were served hot (like steaming hot), which made it interesting...I'm not sure if that's how it's usually done or they were rushing. The anago was also DRENCHED in sauce and the Tako was REALLY salty. Overall, a good but really disappointing meal...I actually prefer the Roppongi location over this...

It's pretty likely the guy will drop dead in the middle of a service in his sushi shop. If you were there and he died after serving you the last piece of sushi he ever made would you eat it?

I live in Japan and you often see some weird shit. Like seeing 90 year olds with their fricked up backs from working in the rice fields working at supermarkets or at small bars. I wonder what do those people think. Do they reflect upon their own deaths? "I rived, I woruked, I diedu. What a raifu". Neets are the true master race and you can't change my life

They aren't happy to work at that age, they can't live off their pension and they wasted their savings on feeding their hikikomori kids. Those people willingly go to prison at old age because they can't afford to eat

That's ok mister Jiro San. My grandpa left me a lot of money after he died. He was a scientist and did some work for the military , something about a Rice Scorcher or a Ricearooni Bombatooni appliance of some sort. He used to laugh he's gonna make the fryiest rice this world has ever seen , whatever that means.
