Have you noticed that cats always knead the place where they sleep?
Have you noticed that one of your nostrils does not expel as much air as the other?
Have you noticed that when you wear a coat with a zipper and sit down, a curve appears at the level of the abdomen?
Not OP or anyone else but i hate shading like that because it is just very "studio" like, its very colorless, defined and directional and looks like stage lights are on, so the characters feels less like they are in a natural environment and more like they're in a shoot. I would prefer movies going wild with really intense colored lighting and look more surreal and stylish than that kind of "realistic".
It's interesting in the case of anime where the movie is sometimes the exact same as the show. Studios Madhouse, Trigger and a some of the older ones put forth the same effort for 20+ episodes as they did for a cinematic.
I don't dislike it for cartoons, but it does distract me if I'm thinking of your average episode then comparing.
Citing Madhouse, Trigger, David, et cetera is a bit on the unfair side. You're picking the studios who every other studio is negatively compared to.
See: When OPM went from Madhouse to Toei, people were pissed to hell and back
Bro the Adventure Time movie would have fricking sucked. Apparently that "something big" episode was what the movie was going to be. Hate that episode.
I don't get it. What's wrong with this, exactly?
It's very basic shading
twatter finding their hourly insignificant thing to complain about
People can't make observations anymore?
There's no such thing as "observation". If you mention it at all, you're whining and complaining like a b***h.

Nothing, is a observation.
Anon isn't complaining it's a basic observation

That's why I picked them. I singled out the studios who do it because the ones that don't make the differences so jarring and unique to anime.
>Shows skip on shading to save money!
Yes...?
>tranime
>braindead
Clockwork
I would like the movie to look higher budget than the show yes
I know. I like it. Too may cartoon movies nowadays just jump to 3D animation and it sucks.
Prove it.
That's a bit disingenuous; the color range of everything is wider, not just the characters.
what cartoon movies has OP's pic actually been done with
is it true that they will make a family guy movie?
"Family Guy: The Movie" or "The Family Guy Movie"?
yeah, but you're forgetting the big setpieces.
my favorite is the first arnold movie, only 4-5 characters got the threatment
