The average Anons cries over “quips” in modern movies but late 90 early 2000’s comedies didn’t even attempt to have clever funny dialogue. It would just shove three gross out scenes in a 90 minute time frame and call itself a comedy.

The original in particular was nowhere near as raunchy as later copycats and was actually quite sweet and nostalgic.

that was popular with millenials, genxers were too old
american pie was the sort of movie you find cool when you're younger than the characters but lame when you're their age

not a single millennial was in HS when american pie came out. It was by gen x for gen x.

The term millennial was coined largely because of the class of 2000, born in 1982.

But some idiot today said millennials were kids in the 2000s.

It’s a pretty vague generational divide honestly. My personal criteria is that if you’re too young to have seen the Lord of the Rings trilogy during its original theatrical run, you’re a zoomer.

If you are too young to remember cellphones without internet, you're definitely a zoomer.

Millennials are those who can remember 9/11. If you can't remember 9/11 you are a zoomer.

If you can't remember 9/11 but can remember life before iPhones, you're a zillennial. If you can't remember life before iPhones, you're a zoomer.

Saw this in the theaters as a teenager with my girlfriends and friends. It was fun. The 90s was fun. People that shit on this time period are just jealous they weren't alive to experience it. Kino time. The movie sucks in hindsight but was funny when you were young at the time.

The lack of inclusion of homosexuals and transsexuals is extremely concerning; problematic, even.
