the injustice series was very popular at one time, spawning a comic series that went on for years. it features deaths and gore of DC characters. there is just this thing where twitter and Cinemaphile has to get riled up over something every week or so, because thats how media cycles work. it keeps you from thinking and being a person.

I think because in the story they're being mindcontroled and suffering, the little time flash becomes aware is begging for death, so they're more like victims than villians.
Second itself killing them is not the problem, but the way than is done is more, like there disconection between how the game sells you this league as really good heroes that did a lot of good stuff and then their deaths are humilliating and kinda degrading
