Everything sucks. Everything. Movies, TV, music all of it. There wasn’t a single movie that released last year that I enjoyed. There wasn’t a single TV show that was released last year that I enjoyed. There wasn’t a single album that was released last year that I enjoyed. The most enjoyment I can get out of media anymore is stuff that was released in the past. Is this getting old?
You're just depressed. Welcome to adulthood lol. It only gets more bleak.
>Media is now full of gay Black person clowns with down syndrome
>"You just don't like it because you're depressed lol"
Maybe I don't like it because it sucks
Depressed people aren't wrong about the world, the reason people become depressed is that they can no longer meaningfully distract themselves from it.
Okay so you've never been depressed before.
no because I go to baskin robbins every night and treat myself to a lil treat
Bahaha.
Nope, that is the present zeitgeist. Everything is shit.
Do these Black folk not feel embarrassed taking these roles? I guess a pay check's a pay check but I wouldn't feel comfortable doing this.
Dunno how they don't feel humiliated.
Do they lack self awareness? Or are they cattle raised by liberal white saviors?
No. Everythingis objectively worse

I see your efforts but this meme is really not funny
What? Upset that they're not taking your depression vewy sewiously? Get over yourself, you're not the only one trying to navigate life.
It’s just that you’ve been trying to make this happen for over a year now. Every effort is just as funny as the last. As in it’s not.
oh anon go and fund yourself a treat at baskin robbins to cheer up

There is 80 years of music and 100 years of films for you to explore. Why does it have to be new stuff?
We've already explored it and there is no reason why the corporate world has to stop making kino.
pretty sure it is an AI bot advertising corpslop ice cream
You haven't seen 10% of the films made between 1910-2010. In what sense have you "explored it"?
Not him. But what if he's for example a sci fi fan and he's forced to see/read nothing that includes ideas that go beyond the atomic era of sci fi and their obsolete scientific notions?
One can endlessy enjoy those old imaginary landscapes, but not having an infusion of new ideas is exhausting
Personally I like Cold Stone better. But you should actually support small businesses and buy local ice cream instead.
music has been around longer than film
Yeah, but I mean popular music since it's obvious OP is a normie who thinks the only place movies can be found is on Netflix or new releases at the movie theatre.
if he's a scifi fan, I'm withdrawing my advice and hoping he leaves this board forever.

Have you tried fricking off from entertinment and letting normal people enjoy things again?

>Is this getting old?
It is not going away any time soon. Creators no longer get full creative control over big budget productions, unless they fund it all themselves, and the few boomers able to do this are getting old and tired. They are forced to insert something that pushes the agenda into every movie. Good music doesn't get much marketing, and we know n*rmies only listen to what they consider fashionable and raise their lips in contempt at someone they catch listening to music they are unfamiliar with.
It is possible that AI and internet might allow independent producers to start putting out kino, however. Also gen Alpha shows promise, preferring niche internet memes to mainstream pop culture. Whatever the future holds, one thing is for certain, one day this too shall pass.
That’s not my problem

My grandma is dying. I asked her what life was like in the past and she said it was better. She said everything has gotten worse every year since 1963.
I believe good stuff is still being made but it doesn´t get it´s time in the spotlight because it is not tailored to contemporary sensibilities. It exists and it´s out there but it´s constantly on the shadow of the big productions with big marketing budgets. Not to mention that streaming works a lot like social media and manipulates accessibility to content. They´ll heavily push the shit they´ve a participation in.
