Warner gave Patty Jenkins pretty much full reign to do whatever she wanted with the sequel down to letting her write and direct this go round. They even tried to have her cut out one of the opening events because they felt like both the games prologue and the mall fight together served no purpose, and when she fought back even this minor would be change got dropped.
Don't even need to bring up Taika Watiti getting writers credit for Love and Thunder and that clusterfrick of bad ideas.
That’s the dumbest thing any studio on the world could do. So of course Warner did it. I have problems with Kevin homosexual but the reason he “worked” as a figure head was at he WASNT a creative. He knew when to tell egotistical creatives “no” and when to just cut their asses out.
I’d argue the biggest problem with post endgame was him letting the grip go and nobody else picking up the slack. And focusing on diversity of course.

They SHOULD focus on bringing back more cool heroes and villains from the past comics, building a backlog of characters that can be utilized for various stories instead of race/genderswapping existing big-name characters.
To appeal to the "woke" demographic without having to become stupid, they can take underused superheroes people don't really care about anymore and "modernize" them, or just bring back some that would benefit from it, like finally making another Static Shock cartoon, or bring John Stewart in for a new GL cartoon/movie, or Steel; hell, give Zatanna a show/movie, she has fans.
Bonus points if they can avoid the GRRRRL PAWAH shit like Captain Marvel whose mere existence causes the entire MCU to warp around her shit acting and character-less character.

Triple up on advertising, double up on the pandering to various groups on the internet, and double up on race/genderswapping beloved/known characters. When a movie fails, Disney then directs their 40-ish% of the news media to spin the dislike of the movie as being caused by [predominantly white/straight] demographics and that the movie is actually really good if you're not racist/sexist.
After this, they'll double down on all this again because of course they will, and we'll have this thread another 100 times.
can a Blue Marvel movie be up anybody's alley around here? I always thought that Blue Marvel should have been a better fit if their pushing some powerful character instead of Captain MArvel
