Hilarious that this is framed as a poverty issue and not laziness when a 4 pack of batteries at the cheapest dollar store or bodega couldn't be more than $3-$5 dollars. Skip fast food or coffee one time and problem solved. Don't buy one snack at the store and it will stop being a problem for like a year or two.
