We don't do the "bros" thing. And we told you last time, Alvis is a Russian; his internet and distributions are kinda fricked to say nothing of if he got conscripted.
I'm still holding out. In other news, thanks to an interview by Takashi Noto that came out following The Beyond's airing on TV, Fafner may or may not be a prequel to Heroic Age all along, even if it may be just a joke.
There's some interesting stuff in here, even aside aside from the Heroic Age joke. Like Misao and Koyo wearing glasses despite not needing them is because Sakura told them it would cheer Kazuki up, the island having dolphin-shaped drones alongside their bird drones, and there even being rough designs of fat Kenji in a synergetic suit, but them ending up not needing it since he wouldn't pilot.
Also Soushi's final last words to Kazuki, which were left unvoiced in the last episode. "After you see the world, come back and tell me the truth of it." which is supposed to connect to Kazuki's "You want to know the truth" from Beyond episode 2.
I buckled down and got around to watching all the Fafner content over the past couple of months and gotta say was kind of disappointed with Beyond. I enjoyed the moody atmosphere of the 1st series and Exodus's 2nd half was honestly so hype that I couldn't stop watching it. But Beyond felt like it just disregarded the whole Neo UN plotline from Exodus and shifted into this weird plotline about nu Soushi and some random homosexual that betrayed them. Especially did not like how much Maya and Kazuki get shafted. Kazuki's dad makes this big deal about how they shouldn't have to kill humans and then Maya's forced to go through with it in Exodus but Kazuki never has to make this kind of decision and for how big of a deal it should have been, I feel like it just kind of got swept aside by the time Beyond starts. Kazuki's entire character arc was just really weird in general, couldn't stand how he turned into this weird messiah figure after Dead Aggressor.
I can't really disagree with Beyond having a ton of wasted potential, mostly because it being only 1-cour meant it had to be much more hyperfocused on plot and the main two of Miwa and Soushi. Not just Kazuki, but the rest of the returning cast and pilots got shafted too, in one way or another when it came to relevant screentime and development. It's honestly ridiculous how much info is shoved into pamphlets that only movie-goers got.
That said, I don't necessarily disagree that Kazuki's arc after S1 was just as a messiah figure. In Exodus, in particular, was all about him dealing with his remaining lifespan and wondering how best to use it. Beyond had a semblence of one, where he needed to move on from Soushi's death, but it was kind of half-baked since Kazuki was out of focus for much of it and it only really got touched on at the end.

One year in army is so long
They were translating YuYuYu stuff pretty recently.
>russian
Idk what are you talking about my internet connection is fine and no army in sight.
You should detox your brains off /misc/
How do you know if someone's a /misc/cel? They'll tell you.
Gorgeous looking frame
Don't worry I already enjoyed watching it raw and my jap level was enough.

About the sub.....
Legit I was getting desperate enough to pay somebody for it. I hope people's whining hasn't been too disheartening.
there is a legit chinese sub files machine translated to english...but someone were to proof read it....
So wait was [Alvis] or somebody playing with the machine TL?
I can’t believe they made another animation after Za Beyondo, I am so happy
Canon when
Mecha fans don't really care about fafner.
Too many people write it off and quit after the first few episodes.
The SEED/Eva-clone accusations never go away.
Ubukata would rather write PP than more Fafner
I mean, he did write it, it's over now.
Someone please sub it... I need more fafner in my life...
They gave us a status update right here anon, patience.
I have the files but, I'm not subbing them too much, but i can upload them
Probably the best we'll get for a while, might as well.

Excellent, thanks anon.
These subs aren't working
It's a translation (sort of) I don't think it's really formatted as subs as-is.

you honestly wanna know what happened to Fafner in west? 30 dollars or more for 3 episodes. this anime is sugar and too good to be true.
