>the israelite peaking out and grinning
Honestly DEI kino
>saving the moronic fricking version with a FRICKING SEEK BAR and not the clean version
I have a clean version. I intentionally post this one now just for the extra seething replies
It's for comedic effect, just like how that dude peaking out and grinning was added into a scene that would have been fine on it's own for the sake of comedy. You just don't get it.
Why should anyone care about this, I mainly lurk but holy frick this has to be like the 1000th time you posted this so people can reply about israelites
bethout isn't canon
This is the gayest shill campaign in recent memory. No one wants to watch this homosexual israeli horseshit.
It's actually a satanic show by all means. It helped me confirm that the usual suspects on youtube sold their soul, literally, for a few shekels.
>It's actually a satanic show by all means.
How so? I only watched the first 20 minutes.
except it directly contradicts all the good games. I guess it's canon in the "raping your property" universe.
(Excerpt from IGN interview published April 17, 2024) https://www.ign.com/articles/the-big-fallout-interview-todd-howard-and-jonathan-nolan-answer-our-burning-questions-about-season-1
I was actually specifically going to ask you about that Shady Sands timeline conversation. And you say that nothing in New Vegas is retconned. I think the rub, to kind of TLDR it, is that "The Fall of Shady Sands" happens in 2277, which is four years before New Vegas. So are people just misunderstanding what "The Fall of Shady Sands" means or something like that?
Howard: All I can say is we're threading it tighter there, but the bomb falls just after the events of New Vegas. That's when Shady Sands blows.
So basically, "The Fall of Shady Sands," it doesn't mean a nuke, necessarily?
Howard: Correct.
Okay. I'm glad we got that out of the way. That was a big question.
Howard: Look, we are tight on the dates, if you really want to get into it. But what's important is when the show takes place. What is happening in the time period of the show? And that's what's most important to us.
Bethesda is in full on damage control mode but frankly I don't give a frick. My Courier is safe. That's all I care. So long Cinemaphile, I'm done cross posting! I'm gonna add another dozen mods and boot up a new game to celebrate!
>See the bomb(s) fell after the fact!!! You can all shut up now!!!
>the dates not lining up is being treated as a plot point
Frick off, it's going to turn out they are all in some simulated reality or somehow everyone in Shady Sands forgot what year it is through Enclave mind control or some shit like that.
I am just fricking waiting to hear the explaination here.
Would probably be a better ending than what we would be getting
there is a general to discuss your inane video game show
This is a israelite shill campaign. The whole point is to flood the board with fake and gay threads and comments about this israelite propaganda bullshit.
>t. janny application rejected
And it’s ignored. So go back to fingering your ass.
Todd Howard confirms that he will DO ANYTHING to keep BETHESDA from being LIQUIDATED by MICROSOFT
"I'm so fricking old"
>The two co-creators of Fallout and creative team of New Vegas were not only invited to see the premier and have nothing against Bethesda also approve and love the show
kek, Cinemaphile keeps losing
Cinemaphile is being fed the sloppiest of the slop
They're their own people, nobody here gives the slightest shit about that.
I don't think Todd has ever played FNV.
>todd howard
not canon
>destroyed Shady Sands
>dissolved the NCR
>abandoned New Vegas
>ghouls now have a serum to prevent them from going feral
>Vault-Tec were the ones who dropped the nukes, not the Sino-American War
>somehow, the Enclave returned
>BoS is hyper-religious + a full blown faction now
>BoS helmets now alter the pitch of your voice
>cold fusion energy can power a town when it shouldn't
Are Todd + Emil allergic to good writing?
It was emil and emil only.
At least todd has create something good once (morrowind, also credited as co writer), but emil isn't and the entire studio has gone downhill ever since that guy was responsible on narrative writing, they finally lost their wheel on starfield, that's when emil become the design director for the game
Literal bad omen
Todd Howard didn't create Fallout. Todd Howard had nothing to do with New Vegas. The show wasn't made for fans or lore in mind. None of it is canon. The show or the games.
>None of it is canon
The writers said it is, so it is. Keep coping, fella.
I can write something and say it's canon doesn't mean it is. None of them created or worked on the original Fallout game it's just fan fiction.
>None of them created or worked on the original Fallout game it's just fan fiction.
Pure, unadulterated cope.
pure unadulterated non-argument. I suppose you'd need to be above 50IQ to actually have a real reply though.
If they own the IP they get to decide what is and isn't canon. Write your own sci fi post apocalyptic universe if you have a problem with it
Which you SHOULD btw, all of these old ass series being, remade, ruined, and repackaged without a shred of creativity in the entire process is tragic. Instead of encouraging creativity it's just one long business transaction
Nah. Community decides
You're so close to realizing ALL this shit is made up and you could just to believe whatever pieces you want. Who cares if the nerd who wrote the original gives his stamp of approval.
Whatever the story was up until the show made logical sense. The show tries to bring in changes that do not follow logic.
>they just did it the dumb way for the plot, okay???
Which is often a good sign of bad or at least lazy writing. That is why its laughable to attribute whatever diversity hires made up due to their incompetence as canon of entire series that is a collective work of dozens of extremely talented people
to be honest Todd fricks up his own lore multiple times in his own games
>There might be a little bit of confusion in some places.
>TRANSLATION: We violated the lore, but you'll still lap up our goyslop anyway.
>We've officially made Fallout even more lame than 3, 4, and 76 combined!
Thanks Todd, just when I thought you couldn't flanderize the series any more you continue to prove me wrong
>FO1 -> FO2 -> FONV
>World develops, nations form from the ashes of america, clearly has some sort of future in mind for the property
>FO3 -> FO4 -> FO TV
>Mucking about in shanty towns as the BoS stomps around. nothing but a sandbox property for them to introduce powerful factions for our scrappy underdog protagonist to take out, with no vision for how they want to develop the world. Actually shits on the one faction attempting to cultivate a civilization in the wasteland because that would run contrary to their vision of being a scrap-looting simulator, should society rebuild.
growth vs stagnation.
but what ending did it end on
>the only good ending MR HOUSE
We can narrow it down to either House or Yes Man, both would work for the show.
so why did the master ignore the giant triple-vault sitting right next door?
>"Todd also claims that it is canon to Elder Scrolls Skyrim:
'Yeah, it's cannon to Skyrim, it's all the same universe loved by you all, the fans. This is going to be a great journey that we are glad to be able to take with you.'"
Wow, Matsura.
Is Todd the biggest enemy of the autist? Is he, dare I say, the Triggerman?
Trust me it is canon! The show its not clear about it but trust me Im telling you!
Fallout 1, 2, 3 and New Vegas are canon in my book. Todd Howard is a spiteful little man who bought the IP just so that he could destroy the franchise, it all stems from his insecurity over his small stature.
I don't think he's spiteful, more infantile - they bought an IP because it sounded LE FUN, and they can do WACKY WASTELAND STUFF, but the NCR developing a society was a loose end that would eventually cause issues, so they tied it up.
Basically, they wanted the setting, not the baggage that came with it.
>Todd said it
Well now I KNOW it isn't true
Okay, but is it canon to Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Fallout 4 PS5 4K, Fallout 4 Xbox Series S/X 8K, Fallout 4 Anniversary Bundle Premium Edition, Fallout 76 Ultra Premium Edition with Premium Sack, or Fallout 4: The Definitive Premium Collector's HD Remaster Bundle with Exclusive Limited-Edition Collectible Bottle Cap?
>canon
>makes fallout 1, 2, and NV not canon
>only fallout 3 and 4 is canon now
ishygddt
>fallout 1, 2, and NV not canon
The only thing not cannon is the ncr ending, the literal mguffin of the show is the cold fusion artifact that the ncr could only ever want because they lost in new vegas
>The only thing not cannon is the ncr ending
And Vault-Tec starting WW3 instead of China.
The only good thing about this obnoxious shilling is that it forced the discord trannies to stop pretending that New Vegas is "their game".
Recently replayed it and I almost forgot how much homosexual shit is in that game
I stopped going to Cinemaphile years ago. Popping back over and finding the game has apparently retroactively become the troony game was more than a bit odd. I truly do despise those mentally deranged homosexuals and that disgusting flag they attempt to shoehorn into every goddamn thing.
could have sworn I shitposted in this thread. you momos must have remade it.
>This Black person just patched a tv show.
My-my knees... they are bending on their own....
>it just works
>bribes meta critic to give NV an 84 so he doesn't have to pay Obsidian a bonus
>retcons it so power armor requires "training" to use in FO3
>Obsidian follows FO1&2 lore where it doesn't require any training so he retcons it back in the show
>goes as far as to literally blow up New Vegas
>brings up Mr.House just to shit on his character entirely
How can one man be so spiteful?
>Obsidian follows FO1&2 lore where it doesn't require any training so he retcons it back in the show
You do need training in FNV. Either from BOS or Enclave remnants.
I agree that power armor training is stupid and illogical. It should be a skill that you work toward kind of like experience
It would be sorta funny if S2 was set in New Vegas and it became the best season of the show in the long run, frick you Todd kek
I wish I cared what Todd Howard said was or wasn't canon, but I don't much. he sounds like the lost brother of Ron and Clint Howard, and the fact that anyone takes anything a greased-up gamer like him has to say seriously is beyond me. I prefer science-fiction writers over gamers. This video changed my life!
Ha ha. that is probably what the Fallout girl is thinking right about now. I would be pretty embarrassed if I was in a show with quality as low as the Fallout show, but luckily I'm not
Why did they make him evil?
He is rich
Its hilarious too. He clearly did not want this distruction as he was extremely logical and even tried to defend Las Vegas by setting up anti-air defense on the roof of his casino. Albeit, this kind of gives another argument toward the fact that vault tec could have had capability to nuke the world. If Mr House had anti-icbm technology, they could have reproduced their own icbm nukes.
How does a company benefit by killing 99% of their customers?
Their view was that they'd eliminate everyone and just have their super race of selected people left alive to colonize the world with no competition from governments or anyone else. However, it's kind of a moronic plot. They'd need a hundred vaults stacked with 1000 pieces of t-60 to reclaim the old america.
>with no competition from governments or anyone else
Did they assume that literally everyone living above ground would die?
I think that is what supposed second nuclear strike is for. The one that nuked Shady Sands.
>I think that is what supposed second nuclear strike is for.
If they want to eradicate all of humanity then why even bother leaving their vaults? And if they want to enslave humanity then why did they stay in their vaults for 200 years? Their motivations make no sense.
To resettle the world with their chosen perfect species which have been indoctrinated through generations of living in the vault. Staying in the vault for so long however is questionable, I'd agree. The storyline has plots
It doesn’t make sense at any level. Even assuming everything went exactly according to plan, what benefit would vault-tec execs possibly gain by being absolute rulers of the wasteland instead of ungodly rich and powerful but beholden to the us government in the pre-war world? The latter is certainly more luxurious and enjoyable.
Probably because the world was on the verge of nuclear war anyway, global warming as well as resource shortage. They sought to restart civilization with them on top
Because corporations are LE BAD
t. Worlds third largest corporation
>wipes out freeside
WhY dId ThEy MaKe HiM eViL!?!?
>wipes out freeside
Wasn't that the NCR?
Its irrelevant what he says. The show itself showed to not be canon at multiple times to the entire series. The show is not canon, its just set in the fallout universe
>Zero mentions of FEV or Super Mutants
Sad!
>it's cannon
>just ignore everything we fricked up
>trust us
I have just watched the first two episodes. I feel it's alright, but I feel there is a problem with pacing that I can't put my finger on. It does an okay job at representing the eccentricities of Fallout but not a lot of the grit and darker side in my opinion. I thought I'd be more pumped to watch it, I'll give it another episode or two and see if it picks up. 7/10 ish
One of my biggest issues is the depiction of the BoS. So many redditards say "but they have incense and chant like monks "dats like da metallic monks from da FO1 hehe".
What they fail to understand is that this interpretation of the BoS is pure Bethesda. It has evolved from the FO3 interpretation, not FO1, FO2 or FNV.
The BoS are supposed to be this small faction of tech hunter that's wear power armor. Their bases are primarily in bunkers and they rarely interact with wastelanders. They are not supposed to have giant bases with airfields, bunks for hundreds of recruits, etc. They aren't supposed to have giant air ships floating around. This all reeks of Todd's FO4.
But it's cannon cause they burn le incense right? I hate this slop so much.
>supposed
>supposed
>supposed
>they can't evolve or develop as a faction
absolute moron. you're so dumb you unironically have me defending Bethesda
Plotholes*
