Falls from the sky in an ancient kingdom, clams to be from the future, fricks all the women, eats all the food, creates gunpowder and robotics, raises undead army, destroys undead and demonic army, unites two kingdoms. Goes back home to work in retail. regrets nothing.
I'm just gonna say it. Every evil dead movie is reddit horror.
This is the most reddit post I've seen in a while
>why can't they watch real horror like le pointy nose evil clown
Really? I don't see a A24 logo on those movies redditor
I'm still waiting for the evil dead in the apocalypse future. Both the original ending of Army of Darkness and Ash vs Evil Dead point out this.
Bruce please, play Ash one more time.
he's like 80 years old now bro.
Make a senile Ash, white hair, add a gun to his chainsaw arm he can already make a great comedy without going physical.
If Expandables were made with a thousand-year-old mummies actors, Evil Dead can too.
He is 64, frick you.
made me check
He's said he's too old to keep playing the role and someone else could take it up in his place.
Who would be good?
I can't think of anyone with a giga chad jaw who can make those rubber faced expressions. Bruce was one of a kind.
Time to revive John Ricos career!
too wooden. you need Nick Cage levels of emote in order to pull off Ash.
>you need Nick Cage levels of emote in order to pull off Ash.
Checked
Send him a script. I'll bet he'd do it
Ash is one of those characters that only work with Bruce.
Only if was a completely new story.
>Who would be good?
Matt Dillion does look like Bruce, I don't know if he could play Ash but he is the closest actor resembling Bruce.
he was great in the house that jack built
Isn't he older than Bruce?
He is 58, bruce is 63.
he fricking sucks
Hear me out, he's young, he's handsome, and he's a total bro.
John Cena imho. John has the expressiveness and hammy muggery to pull it off.
I'd like to see another show or movie with a dog lead.
Oddball choice,i know, but Paul Rudd would be perfect
He doesn't have the mojo, otherwise, he does fit.
I just said he looks like him.
Ryan Gosling.
Best we can hope for at this point is an animated movie or video game. Bruce said he's not really capable of doing the physical comedy anymore
I think Ash can work without physical comedy. Hell, it would even make great gags if he was all senile and old to do hero stuff.
>I think Ash can work without physical comedy.
nah, Ash getting his ass kicked in slapstick fashion is a cornerstone of the series.
A lot of people prefer Evil Dead much more, myself included.
I'm more of an Army of Darkness guy myself, but Evil Dead 2 is the best movie of the three.
All Hail the King, Baby.
Bruce is willing to do an animated continuation of the show. I think they should go in a whole new direction and make an animated show or movie set right after he gets back after Army of Darkness. Younger Ash going around fighting monsters would be great. Have a crossover with some famous horror villains too whether its Dracula or Jason Voorhees.
>some famous horror villains (...) Jason Voorhees.
We almost got Ash Vs Jason Vs Freddy but the producers got mad when Sam Raimi said that Ash should win against them because he is the hero.
It's a shame it didn't happen. I never understood the producer's POV that Ash should lose or die. They expected Raimi to let his baby get killed in a crossover? Absolute morons. The comics they made instead were okay. Maybe they'd have a better chance at getting crossovers done if its animated. It does suck that modern animation is pretty shit so it'd probably be awful even if it did happen. I think a well animated Hanna Barbera style would be hilarious.
God I love sam raimi.
Damn I don't know why I never thought of that. An animated Evil Dead has so much god damn potential in the right hands
was it kino?
Ash Vs Evil Dead was fricking kino.
Agreed, I miss Dana. She was hot.
The entire series was much better than anyone expected.
I think even Bruce put out an interview saying he did it just for fun, but was blown away by the writing quality.
He didn't say the 3 words
bruce IS ash, there is no other way, the actor and the character is the same, he juts plays himself, after the guy is gone, so will Evil Dead be
>after the guy is gone, so will Evil Dead be
Pretty much. If an animated series happen, I hope they conclude the apocalyptic future story we never had.
Get Bruce to at least voice Ash in a few cartoon movies like Adam West did as Batman before he died.
