This is why fat fetish art and muscle fetish art aren't so different, people always go overboard into those respective extremes.

Brapgay here, one of the most degenerate fetishes. It's hard to find a good brap fetish piece because most into it are into everything I *don't* like about brapgayginess, like making everyone's asses 20x larger.

I'm not into farts and am an ass man so I cant quite relate to the brap boy over there, but degeneracy isnt a sliding scale where if you're into something more niche/taboo you suddendly are also into anything before it
Its more like, a set? People are into their own things, and those things intersect with other things or with people that are into a set of things that are associated with those things

            Anonymous

Same here. Also not a brap dude, but I've seen some of it by chance because they very occasionally cross over
I can relate to the fact that most of the artists can't help themselves and hyperexaggerate whatever they're fixated on to the point of becoming grotesque and it actively detracts from fappability.

Heck, there was a thread on here recently about furgays where the 3D models every coomer uses for their shit is almost always the shittiest, most coombrained "I need the MOST grotesquely oversized breasts and asses" one no matter how putridly ugly it actually is.

All fetishes that are unrelated to procreation are unhealthy, or at the very least, a malfunction or crossed wire in the brain. I'm not even some chastity christcuck. There's a whole research paper on spanking being a coping mechanism for trauma, for example.

Muscle growth episodes are like getting rich episode the formula is always the same.
      >Character gets buff
      >Becomes a jerk
      >Looses their muscles
      >Returns to normal

Also if I had a coin for every time a show has a science fiction muscle growth bell I had two coins yadda yadda you know the meme.

That or some other kind of drawback for becoming muscular, I think that Disney XD show with the alien Amazon delivery did both by having the muscular people become jerks and then discovering the machine was defective and ended up turning them into deformed freaks.

the episode of Kim Possible where Ron uses the muscle ring was probably one of the better handled examples where it was less "get muscles become jerk" and more about Ron misunderstanding what it means to be a man

I recall we had a discussion about this the other week. The gist is, actual Cinemaphile examples of muscle growth don't really try to be sexy and are usually grotesque like this, so the people who got the fetish from watching cartoons and/or posthuman female bodybuilders actually like it. That crowd in turn will pester every musclegirl artist to add MOREMUSCLE until they basically draw only human-shaped raisins. I have also prefer girls to be Cinemaphile in moderation, but sadly we seem to be in minority.

You can't. Most fetishes don't even come from coomer artists putting their fetishes in their cartoon but just doing something relatively innocently and nascent coomers watching using the best they can get (at least that's how it used to be).
That's how I got several of my own fetishes, actually. The cartoons and anime in question clearly weren't doing it fetishistically because otherwise there'd have been way more attention drawn to it compared to the ones where it was obvious their was some fetishhomosexualry going on, but I didn't care.

Case in fricking point, pic related. Inflation was a cartoon gag for a long time and clearly innocent, its only recently(read: last decade or two) been associated with fetish porn.

The thing I note about these fetishes is that they were rarely if ever fetishes up until that one instance when a girl character was on the receiving end of it

Because old chivalrous generations (what were they called, Lost Generation and Greatest Generation?) were the ones making all the "classic" cartoons in the 1930s-1970s and Boomers only really picked up around the time of the 80s toy cartoon boom and Gen X only started getting involved in the 90s, you can chart their attitudes towards how to depict females pretty neatly.

Ultra-oldgays born in the 1800s thru the 1940s: old-school all American chivalry, women are to be protected, pampered, stay in their own spheres, generally be shielded from the "brutality" of men (but not in the woke sense, more the "stay in the kitchen and stay out of trouble" sense). I know my great-grandpa could not stand hearing women swear and turned off the TV whenever he saw a woman getting into a fight because that was "unwomanly" and he was a pretty average dude for his time from what I hear. So no fricking wonder women weren't going to be the subject of all the slapstick jokes and gags. You had to look to stuff like Wonder Woman and old European horror comics to find fetishes laid bare by the writer, where it wasn't really well hidden at all.
Boomers were hornier but still had some of their parents' chivalry and kept with the "boys here, girls there" segregation. Their cartoons were usually just commercials anyway, so if they were fapping to their characters, it was probably because they just naturally looked sexy because cartoons were a boys club anyway and no one cared if you had some cat woman in tight spandex in a cartoon. That was the norm, not playing to coomers.
Gen X actively mocked that chivalry so that's when we started kind of sort of seeing girls in roles boys used to play, which included being in situations that no one except gays saw as sexually confusing or fetishistic
And then Millennials just gave up.

              Anonymous

At the same time, we now have a huge population of coomers who think that any time a typical wacky toon thing like dropping a safe or blowing up with dynamite happens to a girl character it is 100% creator inserting a fetish.

Pretty sure no one making Totally Spies had fetish on their minds when majority of the shit happening in that show was very typical cartoon shit. It's just we do not see girls being turned into animals, or hulking out in a musckle episode nearly as much. When most older girls shows were them going to the beach or a birthday party or some other incredibly boring mundane shit. Since no one in the 60s through 80s had girls going on too many adventures outside of Josey and the Pussycats.

I really think this is a flaw inherent to you and not the fault of media. Like if you were destined to be a homosexual you would find something, somewhere that resonates with you and inevitably activates that impulse. If these things had truly transformative capabilities they would make far more hyper-fetishists than actually exist. People just don't want to admit they were born wrong.

homosexuals I can buy, but are you telling me I was genetically predisposed to be really into striped thigh-high socks? Cavemen didn't have those. But as we grow, we absorb new knowledge and behavior like sponges, and I don't see why fetishes have to be the exception.
