They had a decent amount of good songs and every time they dropped a new music video it became the talk of the music world for the next month. They mostly got shit on because of their goofy image which went against the grain of grunge and punk. Then they started beefing with Sugar Ray for whatever reason and both band fizzled out in the aftermath.
Saw them open for Collective Soul a few years back. Was kinda hyped because I love Santa Monica. They weren't good. The lead singer is frail and way older than I thought he was. Dude just didn't have it anymore. Collective Soul was fantastic by the way.
I had a good dad and I write music that is not b***hy and whiny
>*plays slowed down green day riff*
