Over the course of Batman's history there's been hundreds of pages solely dedicated to him watching his parents get shot to death. But which ones are your favorites?
Mine is this from the one-shot Seduction of the Gun. Okay comic, mostly a preachy gun PSA, but this page stuck with me long after I finished reading.

I really like yelling "YOU GET WHAT YOU FRICKING DESERVE" even if the point is it's not accurate.

This what I wish the movies did.
they should, but why tf is Clark crying about it?
Dreaming about reliving the death of your parents and homeworld wouldn't make you cry?
It would if I wasn't like under a year old
Basically the All-Star Superman/TAS approach.
He’d recently revisited Krypton’s remains in an Annual IIRC.
This one. Short, simple, to the point.
why do you think the night sky is red in Gotham all the time? I'm assuming chemicals, but maybe it's something geographic, like light bounces off algae bloom in the area or some shit.
I hate questions like this because it’s a complete misunderstanding of color theory and exactly why we’re stuck with dreadful “realistic” coloring all the time.
I know it's red for the sake of visuals/narrative, but from the watsonian perspective, why do you think it's red?
How would you feel if you didn't eat breakfast?
Great.
This would be fine if the art wasn't so bog standard.
What the frick is the architecture of Gotham
The one from TDKR. It builds up from the murders to his return.
Does this one count
Ah, so that's why Batman keeps training Robins - by putting them in dangerous situations he takes his revenge (and that's why he saved Joker by "glassing" that ex-Robin), while simultaneously trying to figure out, which one of them was responsible for Batman's parents' deaths.
Reminds me of the one year for Storytime of Pain some anon posted every single depiction of the Wayne murder in comics in one thread
You got a link? Sounds fascinating
>when I was but a child, the world was taken away from me
>the unspeakable happened, right before my eyes
>my parents fell over and dropped their muffins
>and then fell onto the packets of jam in their suit jackets
>now we had nothing to sneak into and snack on in the theater
ngl i liked the one where kaley cuocco calls DC out on repeating it: https://youtu.be/dLgFYPqk1EA?si=3dhejGdxqnIe68kv
alao the explanation for why batman doesn’t “move on” per se is kinda poignant, especially in the modern age of comics
The Harley Quinn show is good
