>No longer has the huge shield on the left side >Shoulder pads are still asymmetrical
It shouldn't but me, but it does.
Honestly same. If nothing else, at least add something the ELS-Qan[T]'s left shoulder if you're gonna keep it asymmetrical. I imagine something like a cape would look nice over it.
God > Shining
Wing Zero > Wing > Wing Zero EW
X > X Divider > Double X
Turn X > Turn A (I like both and I know Turn X isn't a Gundam but I find the Turn X to be cooler)
Freedom > Strike Freedom (Not even the final since there's a new Freedom for the movie)
Destiny >= Impulse (Probably a new Destiny for the movie too)
00 Qant > Exia > 00 base > 00 Raiser
Dark Hound > Legilis > Orbital > FX
Perfect Pack > Reflector > Assault > Atmosphere > Space > Ground > Tricky (Base G-Self is already good)
Lupus > Rex
Calibarn > Aerial > Rebuild
On the contrary
God > Shining
Wing Zero EW > Wing Zero > Wing
Double X > Divider > X
Turn A is my fave Gundam
Strike > Strike Freedom > Freedom
Destiny > Inpulse
Qan[T] > Exia > 00 Raiser > 00
AGE 2 > 1 > 3 > FX (even though I think the concept and load out is cool. Don’t like the design at all though)
Tricky > Assault > Atmospheric > Space > Reflector > Perfect > High Torque
Lupus > Barbatos > Lupus Rex
Aerial Rebuild > Calibarn > Aerial
For me it's
Double X > FX > Calibarn > 00 Qan[T] > Turn A > Barbatos Lupus Rex > Destiny > G-Self Perfect Pack > Strike Freedom > God Gundam > Wing Zero
Out of the ones in the picture, Double X.
As for the rest: >blasphemy
I'd rather have the Shining Break from the GBD comic. >EW
And I don't mean Endless Waltz. Epyon is probably the better design. Also, Tallgeese Flügel › Wing Zero EW >just no
lrn2shave >∞ Justice › Strike Freedom
Akatsuki is nice, too. SF is kind of overdesigned. >Destiny Impulse › Destiny
Legend is also overdesigned, like SF. >00 Seven Sword/G › 00 Raiser › 00 Qan[T]
Command Qan[T] from Breaker Battlogue is pretty cool though. >AGE-1G Full Glansa + Plasma Diver Missile › wannabe Nu piloted by wannabe Kira
A Dark Hound is fine too. While we're at it, Hi-Nu › Nu. >High Torque › Assault › Perfect >6th Form › Lupus/Rex
It's not Lupus. >Caliban › Rebuild › Aerial
But I'd like to see kit reviews first.
>why do people consider the Dark Hound as an upgrade.
Are those people in the room with you right now, Anon? Because no one in this thread has said that.
It really depends on how the story plays out. For example, I never would have thought they would give Suletta a new MS, given how much they emphasized her history with the Aerial, but with the way her story folds out, it ends up feeling very natural.
I prefer new MS. Upgrades tend to feel very same-y, and to some degree I want that, but I thought the Barbatos upgrade track was pretty messy. I think they figured that too when in S2 there was just Lupus and Lupus Rex, without a bunch of forms in-between. Aerial to Rebuild is a very similar silhouette, just with new backpack, and though I like the Rebuild more than the base Aerial, it wasn't very exciting. Just, oh, this suit is just the Aerial, but happens to have more design choices that mach my preferences. Going to the Calibarn at the end has a better feeling of seeing a new suit.
I like it when it's a completely new unit.
I was glad G-Witch did that. Having a completely new unit means we get a completely new model kit/figures and also means the design will change more drastically.
It also just conveys the growth in power much stronger imo.
It depends but I think an entirely new suit is a better approach. I do like it when a suit gets upgraded overtime and then the new one is like a suit specifically taking into account the advancements that the last one went through but better. A mix of both is honestly the best.
Going to be honest, I never really liked how "white" the Barbatos Rex was. Compared to the Lupus which I feel had better chunks of colour. With the Rex, the blue on the shoulders seems too small and the white on the chest looks kind ugly to me.
def double X
>
X is better
>No longer has the huge shield on the left side

It shouldn't but me, but it does.
Honestly same. If nothing else, at least add something the ELS-Qan[T]'s left shoulder if you're gonna keep it asymmetrical. I imagine something like a cape would look nice over it.
def not Calibarn
Honestly, most of them I tend to prefer earlier versions, Calibarn is my pick specifically because it's so simple and I like that
>AU Final
>Wing Zero
???
Frozen Teardrop isn't real
ELS Qan[T] and Snow White will get their time to shine eventually, they can't keep locking away the 2nd and 3rd most popular AU forever
God > Shining

Lupus > Barbatos > Lupus Rex
Aerial Rebuild > Calibarn > Aerial
Only the Perfect Pack and Calibarn weren't a downgrade from what came before.
Destiny
I tend to like the earlier MS, rather than the final MS upgrades... So if I had to pick one of the ones listed here...
Probably Barbatos Lupus Rex. I really liked most of the mecha designs from IBO, and Rex was pretty cool looking... And its final moments...
when the vent got busted then gundam started howling and barking was pretty sick
Liking any gundam is tantamount to being woke, so frick you OP.
For me it's
Double X > FX > Calibarn > 00 Qan[T] > Turn A > Barbatos Lupus Rex > Destiny > G-Self Perfect Pack > Strike Freedom > God Gundam > Wing Zero
Turn A
Calibarn discounting the ones Tomino worked on
Out of the ones in the picture, Double X.

why do people consider the Dark Hound as an upgrade. IT's a downgrade and It's still cool.
>why do people consider the Dark Hound as an upgrade.
Are those people in the room with you right now, Anon? Because no one in this thread has said that.
Because it technically is it just went the route of stealth speed and precision instead of more powerful beam weapons.
That and it did already have the more powerful weapons so it chose to lose them in favor of what it now has
00 Qant. I like the Turn A too but its the same mech from the start. I like Calibarn design too.
I fricking love AGE-FX
I still remember what they took away from us anon
Imagine failing so bad Bandai cancels kits they already made molds for
Turn-A doesn't count, but God Gundam is the least drastic upgrade and least garish.
Top 3 design-wise is Caliburn, God and Rex.
Calibarn
Turn A and G-Self aren't AU.
toss-up between Turn A, Perfect Pack G-Self and Calibarn
AUs have this habit of having the first suit or middle upgrade look better than the final
Grug like unga bunga.
Wing Zero and God Gundam are in half the series as upgrades, only last-minute asspull suits like AGE-FX, QuanT, and Calibarn should count.
Turn A is not an AU
Turn A is not UC nor is it the end of all Gundam.
Wing Zero (tv)
Question, do you prefer if the final Gundam is an upgrade of the starter MS, or a completely new MS altogether?
It really depends on how the story plays out. For example, I never would have thought they would give Suletta a new MS, given how much they emphasized her history with the Aerial, but with the way her story folds out, it ends up feeling very natural.

V2, ez-8, and burning/god easily.
