It's so cute how this thread brings all the morons experts.
You have no idea how many fossils we have with feathers in them.
We even used the feathers to find out which colors they were, through preserved melanosomes in them.
The majority of theropods were feathered and even some ornithischians were feathered.
I'm sure your expertise on Spielberg films is more relevant than paleontological findings.

The argument wasn't against "all carnivores being theropods", the argument was "only some dinosaurs have feathers", in which case being that only 28 major species of theropods have been discovered in a pool of roughly 800 dinosaur species currently on the books, you've successfully qualified for what Junior Soprano would quote as being "someone who's so far behind in the race they actually think they're ahead"--but just because I want to embarrass you a little bit further, what is "sauropodomorphs", specifically ones like Herrerrasaurids which have been removed from the Theropodae for having features more similar to sauropods than theropods to the point of overwhelming disqualification

You did not say "only some dinosaurs have feathers", you said "only very specific cases" of dinosaurs had feathers. The retort was that the majority of all carnivorous dinosaurs were not "very specific cases".
That's the end. Accept you misspoke and move on.

And I didn't even bring up the fact you implied that paleontogists were peddling that all dinosaurs had feathers before and only now are saying only theropods were feathered, even though that was never the case.

I'm assuming these two were the Rexes that Rexy ends up bonding with at the end of the movie. Unless someone made more Rexes somehow...

They mentioned that Sorna dinos were also relocated to biosyn, could be the pair we saw from JP2. Camp Cretaceous canon being questionable aside, it's also entirely possible that another party started breeding rexes. There is already an illegal breeding farm at the start of JW3, and dino DNA was widely being circulated in black markets worldwide

I doubt it's Buck and Doe, you're probably right about it being Big Eatie and Little Eatie. Their color schemes looked to match. I assume whatever happens in S5 of CC ends up with them getting snagged by Biosyn

But the movie makes it abundantly clear that Biosyn only engineers pure, unedited dinosaurs with their original genomes, and also that all of the dinosaurs in their preserve are rescues from InGen crops, meaning that Pyroraptor is InGen and therefore inaccurate as it has a genome that has been tampered with

This only furthers the scaly truth that dinosaurs weren't feathered

    >Alberto Palleroni of the Neotropical Raptor Center near Panama City told Vera and me that a couple of years earlier, while working with a rehabilitated Harpy Eagle, he had an experience that forever impressed on him this predator's immense strength. He was holding a mature eagle on his outstretched arm, much as a falconer would a falcon, when a chained dog got loose and sprinted across the compound grounds. The Harpy reflexively shifted its weight to track him and, with a talon pressure greater than that of a Rottweiler's jaws, broke Alberto's arm. In two places.

Most dinosaurs had some feathers. Dromaeosaurs we're fully plumed but something like a triceratops probably only had quills.

Most likely bullshit but even if true theropods were fully feathered and cladistically are ancestors of birds like raptors and chickens. Even if Dinosaurs had scales you can't throw away the genetic link.
