Reminds me of Dat Phan, who won the original series of Last Comic Standing doing the same "muh Asian mom talk rike this" act as almost every other Asian comic. The highlight of his career was going on Tough Crowd and the other comics grilling him for using the accent as a crutch, I think Colin Quinn goaded him into using a French accent for a joke which redeemed Phan a bit.
