It's his for TV project. It's an attempt at a story driven cartoon with the signature humour toned down to what he expects normies to want. And it just doesn't work. His storybuilding compliments the humour as a nice bonus, like in Captain Heart of America or Llamas, but doesn't hold up on its own. And the humour is just gutted, so you're left with nothing of note.
Filmcow never could or should get into the mainstream media. He's "better off" being a web creator. Nothing he has created has ever been good for the type of creation process needed to make it on tv or even as a popular show.
Shadowstone is the most authentically “filmcow” things he’s made in years.
