that's a big if
>if its not cancelled
we can only hope
If it ever gets made, there’s no way it’ll be theatrical. Especially not after the last several SW shows have bombed in just about every way that they can bomb.
Who gives a frick
It’s almost insane how padded this Ahsoka show is. Each episode has, if we're lucky, about 10 minutes worth of plot for a 45 minute episode.
Someone pointed out that the last scene where Ezra shows up to a rebel ship in Stormtrooper armor is stupid. Why would they let him in no questions asked? Why aren't they demanding more answers as he slowly walks out to the hanger. Then it was pointed out that this way they could deliberately waste time with the slow reveal, rather than doing something that makes sense like him exiting with his helmet off.
-10 minutes of a 45 minute show right there.
>mfw Ezra flew that whole way from Thrawn's ship to the New Republic fleet without taking off the Stormtrooper helmet
its okay, the show established at the very beginning that its just standard policy of the NR to let random highly suspicious ships dock in their hangar bays
of all the things to complain about nuwars, you choose to whine about disguising as a stormtrooper?
Are you moronic? It's one thing to disguise yourself as the enemy to sneak around their base, it's a whole other thing to disguise yourself as the enemy when going to speak with your allies. One makes sense, the other is moronic and done for the sake of a stupid reveal.
I wouldn't know, I didn't watch this show like you did you cringe moron lol
Black person I didn't watch the show either. The anon gave the context in what he wrote, you're just too fricking braindead to pay attention to what you're reading.
NTA, but it is getting kinda annoying how the Empire keeps falling for the trick of "The good guys dress up in Empire uniforms, get by the baddies to take their objectives, and then shoot their way out." Like it made sense in the OT, as the two notable times they did it were on the Death Star, where there were millions of troopers on board and finding imposters would have been really difficult, and on Endor, during the fog of war where the Empire had to make quick decisions to effective hunt down the Rebels, so getting tricked by a false communication is understandable. Now it seem like every other day, someone has stolen an imperial uniform and sabotaged a base. You'd think at some point they'd implement some sort of countermeasures by this point.
>You'd think
It's not just that, everything is fricking padded out even the fricking dialoge people talk to each other while doing 2-3 second pauses before speaking
Seems like he could have landed on the ground of any nearby planet, and picked up a phone to tell Hera what was going on.
I don't think it even has ten minutes but I only watched two episodes. It was not good and I wasn't surprised. I can't believe they have shit on their hardcore fans so badly. They had a money printing machine and decided to have it make tampoons.
>war with Thrawn
With his one star destroyer and 300 zombies. How fricking exciting
Palpatine had a planet full of them so why not Thrawn too? Call it an "imperial weapons cache" or something and these idiots will love it.
>Slips on a banana peel and comically falls on his enormous gut
All according to kaikaku.
Small scale continuity, like a one-line reference to something, is fine. Requiring a D+ subscription and three or four different shows to watch a movie is bad. It killed comics, it is killing the MCU, and will now kill the rest of film. Everyone is going the crossover continuity route. I half expect Silvio Dante in Westeros soon.
How the frick are they gonna fit this in the timeline? The new republic goes to war with Thrawn and STILL fricking demilitarized?!
If it releases, it'll be a D+ movie. Even Disney isn't moronic enough to put in theaters.
I can never get over this. What the FRICK were they thinking
>imagine how many plushies we’ll sell
Star Wars, a pioneer of blockbuster movies and special effects design have been reduced to a series of CW tier streaming shows.
>ahhhh, y'all shooting red lasers at me? Of hell naw
>flails around randomly
>Dave Filoni’s movie
He’s definitely blackmailing someone, right?
>oh look another big bad that will lose to the good guys killing off another million storm troopers. At least in the orignal trilogy the bad guys won sometimes.
Big yawn
he wins at the end, wtf are you talking about

If Ezra had a nickle for every time he was whisked away to another galaxy while his friends watched helplessly, he'd have two nickles, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
POOEY THE POOJEDI!
I hate how every thing of Star Wars has to have super high stakes now.
Like holy frick I don't care about Moff Gideon's Mandalorian clone army, I'd prefer some low stakes shit.
Writers used to know how to just change the subject. Now, every franchise escalates higher and higher until eventually someone will be threatening the unraveled a multiverse.
disney are not staking hundreds of millions on this guys slop
Except it can’t be much of a war because the New Republic still demilitarized and let the First Order rise unopposed, so they learned absolutely nothing.
Are these two bozos supposed to frick or what
nope, they where at best great friends in the rebels cartoon.
in ahsoka, she endangered the whole galaxy for him. (he went away willingly to make sure thrawn would never return.)
If there was ever proof women see men as just tools to use it would be the utter lack of male-female romance in Star Wars when it was handed over to women from a man who thought a b***h would actually die of sadness for a guy.
This is the only place on the whole internet that hates Ashoka. Crazy. You guys are like reverse Tumblr.
Considering that most of the internet is controlled by shills and marketers, that's not surprising.
You mean r/Ashoka loves the show? Get outta here!
Listen, the only people who watched the fricking show are cartoon gays. And if they're already demented enough to watch Clone Wars, then yes, it's a no brainer that they like Clone Wars live action. That doesn't make the show good.
FYI - we think before we speak here, so make it good.
This is the only place that's talking about ashoka at all, the show is a massive flop if you haven't noticed
Shit plot, shit writing, better than average starwars acting but still shit by industry standards.
Starwars is dead so long as the mouse is fricking it's corpse
new thing bad, old thing good. Cinemaphile used to dislike prequels even more, now everyone jerk off that shit, wait a few years and ahsoka will be considered high art here. it's all bait and contrarianism anon, don't pay attention to it, this place is dead inside
Cinemaphile got filtered hard by this, it's the best Star Wars since the PT (which was great btw, don't even try replying)
It was good until ep 4. After that the plot moved at a snail's pace and action scenes were absolute trash like
only episode 1 was bad, ep5 was the best one
Episode 5 was just nostalgia bait and nothingburger. Literally a 50 minute filler just for Ahsoka to get a message that no one really can explain.
how has Star Wars fallen into the same exact trap Marvel fell into? spend billions of dollars to make nostalgia crap that appeals only to the most unfrickable acne scarred redditors you can find
>mfw Zorbo Goopoo appears in the fourth season of The Mandalorian
>Hey remember that show you dropped mid-season 3?
>Yeah you have to have seen all of that
>Oh, and that classic character we made really lame? Yeah if you could watch all those episodes too from his show, that's also something you should probably do
>And of course you've seen the entirety of that show with historically low viewer counts, right? Yeah, the one that was a live-action direct sequel to a children's cartoon barely anyone saw
>Up to date? Great! Sit back and enjoy!
Does Disney seriously
How anyone can be interested in Boba Fett after the show is just beyond me. It was so shit. 25 years of enthusiasm about that character instantly vaporized.
stop making fricking female protagonists, do you zoomers really eat this shit up? how fricking lame are you that you think it's cool watching some stupid c**t beat up people? homosexual generation
>The Book of Boba Fett and Ahsoka
These shows had stories to continue?
