This. That homosexual saying APOLOGIZE to Craig and the wienersuckers agreeing need to kysthemselves. I WILL NEVER EVER FRICKING ACCEPT CRAIG. I'm glad he's gone and ATJ is an absolutely perfect choice for a young, new James Bond. He will bring back Piercestyle Bond. They starred in a movie together as father and son in 2009 called The Greatest. He will herald back the fun and cool Bond Pierce embodied.

Daniel Craig started out OK, I guess. He could have been promising. His hair was maybe a shade lighter than Roger Moore's ever was, though he was playing a more buff, modern tough-guy seeming version of James Bond that tried a bit too hard to be like Jason Bourne. It's still pretty weird to me that Daniel Craig was billed as the new young guy for Casino Royale, and that sort of stuck with Quantum of Solace, but by the next film, Daniel Craig in Skyfall and subsequent movies is billed as the old James Bond, at times in and out of retirement from the service. Did Craig's looks age quite fast for a Bond actor, for them to go from saying he's the young Bond to turning him into an old man Bond?
Bond isn't supposed to be some manlet Russian gay gay either. Plus, the character changing and adapting is what keeps the movies alive. I'd take a young and energetic Bond. The movies never gave a shit to adapt the Fleming Bond. Bond is just the persona for the action hero archetype popular at the time. It was never about Fleming's Bond. James Bond is it's own beast.
Even though bond is meant to be 30 in CS, I agree. Bond works when he’s a man, and these men just aren’t that anymore. It’s a testament to how good Connery was, because he was 29 and had the masculine swagger of a 40 year old.
i thought casino royale was terrible and i don't understand how anyone thinks differently
the first 30 mins of the movie are completely irrelevant and could be cut out, and what follows afterwards is really mid >mads doesn't really get a chance to shine and his character is worse than the villain he played in dr strange >eva green doesn't get sexo
even the end is dramatic and a big downer, in a way that i genuinely think does not fit james bond OHMSS was shit too
It ruined Fleming's novel and story with dumb pajeet action. If anyone thinks that movie is anything but a cheap fricking Bourne knockoff that is embarassed of being Bond then they are subhuman. Bond ended with DAD and is now reborn with Aaron Taylor.
i'm pretty sure the only reason they frontloaded it with action the way they did was to get all the morons to sit there patiently waiting for more
in reality the movie should've started in a mysterious way with him just hooking up with eva on the train, there's 0 reason for anything that takes place before that scene
and if they wanted to make mads a mustache-twirling villain, then they should've given him some fun stuff to do, the ball-torture scene i think is just boring
I made that to help people visualize how he'd look as James Bond. I look at ATJ and can immediately guess the angle. They'll go for a young, energetic Bond who wears more casual clothes and is modern in a good way. He probably will keep his normal medium-length brown hair. He also looks great in a tuxedo. This is the best day ever. THANK GOD (Barbara)
This. If any Bondfan isn't on cloud nine with this casting, they're not a Bondfan. My dad is even more HARDCORE Bond than me and has been since the 70's and he told me ATJ is the best choice they could get. He sees the potential in him and that he looks more of a real man (sans the voice which is no problem) than Craig who looks like a homo. Barbara, I APOLOGIZE.
Not true. He looks boyish which is what they're going to angle on to make him stand out but he's definitely matured and ready to be a superstar 10 years after he was said to be the next big thing. Well, he's James fricking Bond. Doesn't get any bigger or A-list making than that.
Bullet train is exactly why he ISN’T bond. He’s a whiny, squeaky voiced dork who is the exact opposite of what bond should be. He comes off as a sidekick in a bad comedy movie. He’s not convincing enough.
He showed promise. The way he did both quipping and fighting and the way he looked and moved in a suit. Exactly like Connery. Like a big junglecat. I especially liked how he looked holding a gun in Bondian fashion.
is this a gay? i'm watching an interview with him right now and his hand movements and body language are incredibly fricking homosexual
please tell me they didn't hire another gay to play james bond
it doesn't matter how he is in real life, by that logic even Roger Moore was homosexual. Watch Bullet Train. He's the best choice for Bond there is. BONDKINO IS FRICKING SAVED, BARBARA I APOLOGIZE.
well, macron is also dating an old hag, but he doesn't have a homosexual feeling to him
this ATJ gives me the vibe of a flaming homosexual who is technically with a woman because she probably gets off to watching him frick other men
Throughout the casting process he was the lead the whole time. I don't know if this is normal for a Bond but it's been going on for at least 2 years now.
Barbara's process is she finds some hot young actor in a semi-popular movie >ATJ/Bullet Train >Daniel Craig/Layer Cake
and then waits until they accept. She's been on ATJ ever since Bullet Train came out. If nothing else, she got it right this time than with Craig.
[...]
Daniel Craig started out OK, I guess. He could have been promising. He was always shit and unfit. Bondkino is saved and the DARK AGES are over.
>Craig was pure charisma >Craig >fricking Daniel Craig
have a nice day for uttering this.
You’re just trying to justify your feelings and you’re making a bad case. This will marvel tiger shit.
Bond has always been an avatar for the actor portraying him. No different than Roger Moore or Pierce Brosnan. They all served Terence Young's vision of Bond which is a wolf in a tux, a carefree male fantasy. The specifics can vary and that's the beauty and why it's lasted for 60 years.
Barbara found her new Daniel Craig. I'm the anon who said he had a relative who works for EON and said that ATJ is the new Bond and come March-April they'd announce him. She never even considered Cavill. She's wanted ATJ since NTTD finished it's theatrical run.
>She never even considered Cavill.
nobody in their right mind would ever consider cavill
Cinemaphile is full of a bunch of fricking manchildren who have been emotionally manipulated by that homosexual pretending to be le epic nerd or whatever
but cavill is a terrible actor, he doesn't have a single thing he's good in
he was in bad in the tudors, he was bad in superman, he was bad in argylle
he looks stunning, no doubt about that, but that's really not enough, and certainly not at his age
>and certainly not at his age
Everything you said falls flat once you talk about age. Shitty excuse.

why? he's already 40, which is pretty old for a guy who should be able to spearhead a franchise for the next 10-20 years
look at what happened with craig, since they thought he was getting too old, there was pressure to pump out as much garbage as possible before it was too late
casting a guy in his early 30s is much better, this gives them flexibility to make the movies when they're ready and to have enough time to make a solid 4-5 movies without forcing them out every other year
with a guy in his 30s they can make them feel like an event and release a bond film every 3-4 years without pressure

except that isn't really how things are done anymore and i don't think many actors like to feel like they're completely trapped to a franchise as if they were chained to a tv show
doing one every two years means they have time for maybe one minor project on the side, if that, depending on how long they want to rest
giving the actor more breathing room won't just ensure they feel more positively towards the role, but it will help the brand as well since their popularity coming from other movies will just add to the overall success of the franchise

The industry is in free-fall and James Bond is the only guarranted money-maker left. The timing is also one to consider, anon. He accepts publicly the role AFTER Madame Web bombs. Why? He knows the Sony movies are a cancer and he's about to star in one so him accepting Bond acts like a bullet proof vest for when that movie bombs to shreds. ATJ doesn't do that many movies anyway. He does one every 2 years and him taking the Bond role does insinuate he's going to settle for Bond (how can't you? it's fricking Bond) and not do much else since he's won the golden ticket that all of Hollywood would kill for.
This. He's a woman's idea of James Bond. He'd tank the franchise. What you need right now isn't some boring copy of the older ones but a new and fresh take that's contemparary but also feels uniquely James Bond hence Aaron Johnson. It'd be like if they stuck with Lazenby in the 70's instead of Moore who rejuvinated the Bond franchise.
>he doesn't have a single thing he's good in
The Man from U.N.C.L.E. That role was James Bond in all but name. >he looks stunning, no doubt about that
That's honestly the gayest shit I ever heard.
And gay face isn’t a bad actor? Because he’s been forgettable to bad in everything I’ve seen him in.

I’m not trying to defend Cavill. I think he’s mediocre, but he, unlike Johnson has shown that he can play upper class, which is something that They need to make bond feel like bond. People seem to forget that bond is basically a high class psycho path. Only brosnan and dalton have managed to show that, and that’s why they were so good. Neither are excellent actors, but they fit the role.

Dalton is an excellent actor on his own, Brosnan doesn't need to be. He was born to be Bond. I think jury's out on Aaron Johnson until we see him in a tuxedo.

I don't like ATJ or Cavill for the role. But at the same time I haven't been able to come up with a pick of my own that would be better. The current generation of actors British actors are either Tom Holland style twinks or have that chav footballer/squaddie vibe like Taron Egerton.

There is not otherwise he would've been chosen. They don't need John Brinkleworth some homosexual theater actor, they need someone who's seasoned and experienced.
I've never seen a Bond movie with above average performances. I don't know why you guys care so much about the casting of the least important character in the series. People only care about the hot girls and the luxury cars anyways.
You're not wrong in that people shouldn't expect shitty Oscarbait acting out of Bond but you're wrong in that Bond is not important. He's the main attraction as are the girls and the action. You can't have one without the other, the whole package must come.
>Kick Ass and Age of Ultron
For some reason I had always been sure that was also the gay from Napoleon Dynamite, I had to look it up when that article didn't mention it.
only people I know who are excited about this are my mom, my sister, and my female friends, they all think he's hot.
my dad thinks he's too young and boyish, uncle says he looks like a homosexual
and that's bad? A Bond has to be irresistible to women. He looks like a boyish gigachad. Plus, they'd fix him up and tailor him for Bond which by then he'd look even better. It's a good fit for the time.
Bond movies are for guys, not for girls. He has to be attractive but guys have to think he's manly and cool. If all we got going is that the chicks think he's hot might as well get a korean pretty boy to be Bond
A Bond lives or dies on if men want to be him. He's boyish for sure, has a high pitched voice but can you truly say you wouldn't kill to be him? That's what I'm saying. You put him in some good suits, groom him and get him clean shaved with a nice haircut to accomodate his long brown hair like with Tom Cruise and you have a great Bond. I feel like this will be another Heath Ledger situation.
Wow, ANOTHER white guy Bond? Boring and disappointing

brosnan is a terrible example, anon
go rewatch goldeneye and see how sean bean mogs the frick out of pierce brosnan with his superior acting chops
like the evil villain is unironically a thousand times more compelling because sean can be emotive and knows how to slide into the role
You mean the thing I said? That he isn’t an excellent actor. Read what was written pal.
I don't like ATJ or Cavill for the role. But at the same time I haven't been able to come up with a pick of my own that would be better. The current generation of actors British actors are either Tom Holland style twinks or have that chav footballer/squaddie vibe like Taron Egerton.
It's ATJ or nobody. Cavill has baby hands and is too buff.
>nobody
I'm sure there's some mostly unknown actor at the RSC or something that would absolutely kill it. Shame they don't seem interested in finding him.
There is not otherwise he would've been chosen. They don't need John Brinkleworth some homosexual theater actor, they need someone who's seasoned and experienced.
I don't hold a candle for Cavill but Bond doesn't require a skilled actor. A workman's all that's necessary.
Cavill played a mediocre Bond pastiche in a parody film and his boytoys to this day think he can pull it off, it's insane.
He could for the time but that's moreso to Craig being so abysmal that the alternative is enhanced by virtue of that.
Can you please stop abbreviations fricking everything
I said he'd be the new Bond and that he'd be announced in this time frame we're in right now.
So it's all fake? Got it.
Fricking Sky is reporting it. It's over. He's the new Bond.
Too old. He'll probably be one and done like Lazenby if they need someone at the last minute to fill the shoes before moving on.
>Too old.
This excuse has been overused by Gunngays or anyone against Cavill. He is the perfect choice and you know it.
Cavill is pre-bald, he'll be a full cueball within 5 years
It makes sense that a israeli person be Bond.
Thos ATJ kod already sucks. He doesnt have the IT factor. He looks like hes about to cry and suck wiener.
Very gay israeli James Bond
better than Craig.
>Kick Ass and Age of Ultron
For some reason I had always been sure that was also the gay from Napoleon Dynamite, I had to look it up when that article didn't mention it.
The one homosexual who's gay for Aaron really ruined the thread with their samegayging
I'm not gay for Aaron, I just think he's a decent choice and most importanly, Craig is officially history. I'm very happy with this.
only people I know who are excited about this are my mom, my sister, and my female friends, they all think he's hot.
my dad thinks he's too young and boyish, uncle says he looks like a homosexual
and that's bad?
>I feel like this will be another Heath Ledger situation.
We can only hope
kek but I hope not because then they'll just use it to cast some black trans jaguar.
Built for GILF cooch.
he seems a little too "I love to be flashy" like if James Bond also wanted to be a gigolo.
