Holy frick did they actually, FINALLY, give Cyborg a decent solo book after all these years? Someone finally wised up and realized what made Vic fun. Is this a turning point for the character, or will Cyborg only be accepted as a team character (specifically Titans)?

Does Cyborg work well as a superhero mentor? You know, a coach meant to train and work with younger/next gen heroes and sidekicks?
I'm not a fan of the man vs machine/AI narrative and daddy issues plotline being brought up again, but the writer is handling them in an interesting way.
While I am kinda over Vic's daddy issues, I can admit that this is at least a new direction to take it. Also does AI Silas look like Fixit to anyone else?

Ugh, don't remind me. Really fricked up Billy in that. I think there's merit to the concept, only something smaller and more personal. You could also explore "Coach Stone" as a hero physical therapist trying to get injured heroes back to 100%.

Gives her a tragic backstory and a reason to not be 100% villain so there's the possibility of her going more good like her cartoon counterpart.
The writing and art in the book are ass. The only people who like it are the writer and editor.
I can excuse the writing but the art is horrible. Especially compared to the cover.
I liked his dcyou series, but cyborg dc rebirth series was pretty mediocre. Didn't read his 2008 series.
What is Vic's current status these days? I never liked them taking him from the Titans for the JL

I didn't either, and I'm glad the animated movies had him eventually join the Titans.
Current book has him doing the solo hero thing in Detroit. He's still associated with The Titans
