>finally reaches his lifelong dream of becoming ninja president
>gets turned into a soulless wage-slaving zombie who is energy-drained 24/7, doesn't have any time to spend with his family or friends and has a piece of shit ungrateful son as a result
What did the writer mean by this?
He can make clones of himself, so he should have time to do anything he wants.
he can also turn himself into a troony so he can suck and frick his own wiener
>teen boy learns a spell for on-demand fricking
>any story happening at all after that
Japanese are low test even during puberty I guess.
Manga don't tend to handle the downsides hornyness in general, the worst I've seen is some korean webtoon where MC found out his brother was addicted to succubi (like a "I'll suck your dick for $20" crack head) and flunked out of magic school.
naruto vs batman who wins?
naruto via talk no jutsu
Oh my god once Naruto finds out Bruce is an orphan it's over.
>batman whose main strength is prep time
>naruto who possesses infinite prep time
like when an unstoppable preparation hits an immovable time…
Why is the Ninja president for the most powerful, yet nearly entirely an office job with unbelievable amounts of paperwork? He should invent delegating responsibilities.
Because the writers are creatively bankrupt. It should have been a big reveal that Hokage Naruto was just a weak clone and the real Naruto has been off training so he's ready for Kaguya's family.
>achieve dream job
>it's miserable and doesn't make you happy
That's life baby.
I stopped watching Naruto have the Boruto movie, but I thought there was a plot point that Naruto was doing this and his son got mad that he also sent a clone for his birthday or something like that?
Why would ninja city states put their most powerful fighters in clerical positions in the first place
They earned it, just let dem kids do the fightin and dying.
Shut up Hiruzen
Most experience to lead and delegate. If anything, Naruto show demonstrates quite well that coordination and teamwork can take down godlike characters.
And also Naruto is almost an exception, most powerful characters in other villages are not usually Hokages.
No? the most powerful ninjas of all other villages were the Kages. The stone village had the old man which was the only one capable stopping a meteor. The water fire lady was definitely the strongest. Gaara also was, even at 15 or whatever he was. The Raikage was also the fastest man in the world.
Name one example of another village where the strongest wasn't the Kage.
>the most powerful ninjas of all other villages were the Kages
>Name one example of another village where the strongest wasn't the Kage.
Jinchuurikies? The living WMDAs. I think only Gaara became Kage.
NTA but a lot of the jinju shits are weaker than the kages too.
>Jinchuurikies
But all them got heemed by low tier Akatsukis (I think Pain or Itachi never came out to capture them). We never saw them truly fight but... iirc the stone village had two of them who obviously were defeated by the Akatsuki, but the old man (Tsuchikage?) schooled Deidara (resurrected).
I was about to say in my previous message that the only one that is close is Killer Bee and the Raikage, but both of them had similar feats. Both made Sasuke bleed but ended in a no contest, both defeated Kisame at the same time... Killer Bee has the ability to spam nukes with his perfect mode but the Raikage is the fastest except Naruto and his father, and in the end Killer Bee never achieved anything with those nukes. So it's close.
Because they were kids bro. Bee would easily solo the Akatsuki. Pain included.
Them being kids is irrelevant. They are not the strongest is the point. Try and keep up.
Their politicians are the most capable people. We could learn from that.
It's a bluff to other villages, they're there to represent the strength of their army while the upper council that all villages have make most of the decisions
Makes me think of Marineford in One Piece with Whitebeard just standing around
Tbf whitebeard had pirate aids, he was taking damage from fodder marines with swords
>whiteboard has advanced pirate aids
>itachi has advanced ninja aids
They couldnt come up with a better way to nerf them than different flavors of fantasy aids?
Written by JK Rowling
Hokage was originally a Shogun generals position. Then it turned into an administration position.
Originally Naruto wanted to become Hokage because he was an unloved orphan that everyone despised and distrusted, so he wanted the population to be forced to love him by being the top dog of the military administration.
He flunked every written and intelectual test given to him, and only got through training because he was a scrappy underdog that would stoop to underhanded backstreet tactics.
He didn't have the respect of his peer, let alone any friends.
He did virtually nothing to earn the position other than being born a godlike being of ultimate unchallenged power. He saves the village in the pain arc and now everyone pretends to be his friend.
You could make the mistake and assume he wanted to be Hokage so he could put in reforms for orphans, or peace treaties. But no, he just wanted to be top dog for the clout.
Naruto is genuinely the worst written manga of all time and I could write essays on why every aspect is shit. Sakura mainly
They constantly show him being alone on that swing and beat the audience over the head that he wants to be kage so people will like him which is understandable for a lonely orphan boy but this is a dumb ass reason after he's a teenager/adult. After the pain arc they even explained that he already earned the village's respect for saving them so being a hokage is now superfluous at best when being a kage isnt a big deal anymore being of the powercreep. So he just became a kage because kishimoto needing him to stick with his "I'm gonna be the king of the pirates" goal
And it's all because kishi dumped the editor that fixed his bullshit first draft in the first place. By the time the sasuke retrieval arc began kishi was on his own, thus he became George lucas writing the prequel trilogy surrounded by yes men and nobody to reel in his stupidity.
>By the time the sasuke retrieval arc began kishi was on his own
Well shit, it all makes sense now. No wonder there was such a massive decline after the timeskip. Shippuden really is the prequel trilogy of the series and shows why some creators really need that editor to reel them in and tell them when some of their ideas are shit because shit like this will happen
I actually made this poorly made infograph because this convo has been done hundreds of times.
Funny. Is there any explanation for the pattern of when "vissionaries" try to create a new product to become the next money huge maker but it's a flop like kishi's samurai 8 series(I had to Google the name because I forgot even that)?
>"vissionaries"
frick, I should go fix it if it was worth saving to begin with.
It doesnt need correcting because "visionary" is a singular word that refers to one creator at a time during each example
No I just realized Vissionaries isn't a word, Canva just didn't spell check my mistake.
Kind of funny that Naruto is the only person who became Hokage just by wanting to be Hokage, all the other 6 kage just kind of got selected against their will since they were the best option
Gives me a little bit of hope for this future kage
Yeah there was even the joke during the war when multiple characters from naruto's class wanted to be the next hokage. I never realized that kage titles were usually just given to motherfrickers who wouldve preferred staying jounins. Even when minato got told he was going to be the 4th, he just went home and said "well, I'm going to be the 4th hokage apparently. I wonder what's for dinner tonight"
>Hashirama didn't want to be hokage and originally wanted Madara to be the first iirc
>Tobirama took up the position after Hashirama dead
>Hiruzen thinks he's about to suicide mission himself but instead gets installed as hokage on the spot
>Minato is just too good and there can be no other - Orochimaru seething
>Tsunade has little interest but does it just since Jiraiya didn't want to do it either
>Kakashi also has no real interest but takes Tsunade's place because she's "over it" I guess
Naruto probably would have been 7th hokage either way even if he never wanted it just because of his powerlevel
We can also bring up Danzo in which he was the only other guy that really wanted to be hokage but he RIPs in under a week. I think Orochimaru half-wanted the job but I'm not sure on those details. Also kind of nutty how much shit possibly could have been avoided if they'd just made Madara the first kage, or even just put his face up on the mountain
Kakashi's excuse was "I'll just be the placeholder hokage because tsunade wants to retire and cant stay a forever kage like hiruzen, naruto still isnt mature enough to be a kage, and kishimoto thinks it'd be cool if I had the title despite me being the weakest I've ever been"(and yes, I know kakashi is still strong without his sharingan but the power ups they gave him post-shippuden were total copes). And yeah, they shouldve just made madara the first kage and be done with it, much better than some stupid ninja police position that danzo made for the village to hate the uchihad even more
Naruto's arc is literally learning the hurdles and meaning of being Hokage. It's not great but it's there.
No it fricking isn't and you know it
Yes it fricking is. This isn't subtext. It's not up to debate.
The world building for naruto fell off a cliff after the tournament arc
Part 1 had a very charming minimalism going for it along with a lot of really nice tacticool aesthetically pleasing imagery, made even small players seem threatening and dangerous
Part 2 was all about mass chakra and just a handful of extremely lethal key players, which was still cool in its own way but it did fodderize a lot of secondary characters.
Like in part 1 when you see Hinata and Neji fighting and you're like "woah this byakugan shit is cool" but then in part 2 you're like "ugh, get this byakugan shit off my screen"
Yeah, sounds like powercreep in a nutshell. Arc 1 had more humble beginning, you could see some low stake fight between genins and its be more entertaining than two ninjas that are beyond kage level who are casually blowing up mountains.
Naruto's powercreep was fairly reigned in up until the war arc started, but the powerlevels on both opposing sides escalated so many times during the war that it almost makes me think he was trying to set a record for how much he could powercreep in 1 arc, even going beyond the established power structure with the 6paths buffs
Yeah, that bloody war made the power scaling jump like when dragonball went to DBZ. Outside of almighty push, the 2nd mist destructive jutsu(outside of a summon) was the rasenshrinken which was a glorified destructo disc. Now we got naruto and sasuke transforming into giants and pulling some giant mecha feats. It's just crazy how they tried to up the power so much but it still felt underwhelmed because madara dropping multiple continent busting meteors didnt feel as thrilling as when two genin tricked zabuza with the basics. They kinda jumped the shark and wanted to say "see out characters are planet busters now too"
>people who got filtered after the Chunin Exams
i always get a chuckle outta you guys. you're like the,
>"Dragon Ball fell off after original Dragon Ball ended"
equivalent for Naruto. what a blockheaded hipster take. kek
In Shonen your position is correlated with your strength regardless of how little it makes sense to have your strongest guys be stuck behind a desk most of the time.
>why is the ninja city run by ninjas?
To protect it and its denizens
finding out naruto took place in modern times blew my mind. I dropped that series pretty early on.
>Orochimaru runs free
>Kabuto runs free
>Sasuke runs free
Is Naruto a prison abolitionist?
Orochimaru himself says they aren't truly free. Konoha keeps them around because they can be useful. Same reason Osama wasn't actually killed when they got him.
>naruto's teacher from the first episode still getting raped in jail
Theft is a serious crime in Konoha
It's not the writer anymore, it's his assistant
its a realistic depiction of the average working man
It’s just that Boruro is a soulless cashgrab. Besides that’s pretty much what being an adult is (especially in Japan).
in actuality he loves being hokage everyone in the village thinks of him similar to a god and trust their lives in his hands and he is respected by everyone on the planet to the point that had to put barricades in front of the village due to women travels miles to frick him. His son and daughter also realize how great he is, he married his childhood friend who is a literally a goddess from the bloodline that created the ninja and his lifelong rival's daughter wants to suck his dick.
>he married his childhood friend who is a literally a goddess from the bloodline that created the ninja and his lifelong rival's daughter wants to suck his dick.
Pure kino
>his lifelong rival's daughter wants to suck his dick
Does she really? I thought she was into his son.
She more often just a friend or annoyed with Boruto, his dad gets all the praise and awe from Sarada.
How does she feel about her own dad?
She literally says she wants Naruto to be her dad, I'm not kidding.
And Boruto wants Sasuke to be his dad. They should just swap kids.
Damn. I haven't actually ever seen or read Naruto or boruto but does Sasuke actually deserve this? I know tons of people hate him.
he's literally a black father
She's bothered that he's been away most of her life and favors hanging out with Boruto over her when he does visit, but she hasn't cut him out and still gets all giddy when Sasuke does give her daddy attention.
>favors hanging out with Boruto over her when he does visit
Why?
Probably just less awkward to talk to your friend's kid who idolizes you versus your daughter that you missed 99% of her life.
Sarada wants Naruto to give her a "special treatment".
>Becomes the strongest shinobi of all time
>His son surpasses him in less than 10 years.
Anime sucks.
his son didn't surpass him, he just has a god that takes over his body every once in awhile. base boruto is still way weaker than even normal sage mode naruto
Boruto doesn't exist
He's miserable because he settled for a boring, ugly prostitute with the personality of a cumsock. Should've married Sakura.
Sakurachads playing the long game
Shitnata was never loved by Naruto some shitty filler movie doesn't change years worth of canon. The hero usually gets the girl he wants (Sakura) so wtf was Japan thinking
The pacing sucked and the romance sucked harder
>Sakurachads
It's been almost 10 years and you're still crying and seething at something that was never going to happen. You sakuratards are hilarious.
Keep projecting homosexual. Narusak was always the intended couple and Kishi btfo the fan favorite ships by cucking and neglect
Your ships are shit
>naruto and hinata in a loveless marriage
>naruto wont even sleep with his wife
>spends nights at the office away from family
>the 2nd kid they had did NOT fix the marriage and now they will have no more
>hinata is so emotionally drained and ruined that her boobs have all but disappeared
>the kids are constantly neglected by their dad
>absolute fricking wreck of a family
NaruSakuSCHOLARS may not have won, but they have had revenge
Almost 10 years of seething, almost 10 years of coping, almost 10 years of crying themselves to sleep.
Nice argument tranime homosexual 🙂
You bring up an excellent counter argument
I need no arguments, you lost 10 years ago.
>finally hook up with sasuke
>sasuke never home, your kid doesnt even know what her dad looks like
>kid even starts to question if you're her biological mother
>look at the dude who turned down next door and he's happily married with two kids that love him. He works a lot but he's the goddamn hokage.
Sakura got what she deserved when she picked sasuke.
Narusaku shippers are as damaged as Ichigorukia stans
Now that I think of it Hinata vs Sakura has a bunch of the same notes as Asuka vs Rei
Rei being a bit more confident than Hinata and Asuka being a bit more over the top than Sakura
Imagine if Naruto was more like Gendo towards Boruto
Sakura being the Misato figure
Shinji never cared about Misato
Pinkshitters never recovered
https://imgur.io/a/XKwJ4/#0
So much copium, so much butthurt, nice.
>so wtf was Japan thinking
Why pine after some flat girl with a shit personality when she's obsessed with emo dick when big ol tiddie with a long time crush on you is standing right there
At least Sakura has personality. Shitnata has nothing beyond moaning muh Narutu and she can't fight
Both couples are shit. NH and SS btfo by Kishi himself
Kys bleachgay Rukia best girl
>sakura better than hinata
shit tomato, shit tamato. they're both horrible and exhausting to be reminded of.
KAKUMEI DA
What village will teach me the best sneed and feed no jutsu?
His dream was to be hokage not have a wife and kid
>What did the writer mean by this?
og writter dipped, new writer hates the fact that ppl like og characters more than his new ones
many such cases
>og writter dipped
Really? Kishi is gone? When did he eject and why does someone mangle his IP?
Kishi was always a hack that wasted all the potential his series had, could barely come up with his own ideas and resorted to ripping off Togashi whenever his creative barrel was empty.
since the start of boruto kishimoto has only been the "supervisor" (not that I follow it so idk what happened recently), the story is drawn and written by someone else.
>why does someone mangle his ip
because naruto is a huge brand so having a continuation of naruto it means alot of money for Jump, the animation studio, tv stations, merch, kishimoto himself etc... so it was necessary. Same as you have 50 batman 300 spiderman and shit like that, is just that here they tried to continue the story in a chronolgical way without multiverse and shit, focusing on the moronic kid of naruto that no one asked for. You might at well consider it as a fanfic.
Kek someone is still posting this shit after years
Imagine being this butthurt
Getting as close to real life as possible.
His dream of becoming Hokage had more to do with him wanting to be liked and respected by his village, since everyone despised him when he was a kid for a reason he couldnt know or understand. He had already achieved part of his objective when he saved the village from Pain, everyone praised him as a hero. Him becoming Hokage is just, you know, what else is the writer gonna end with? Naruto is a dumb shonen, its really not that deep
Everyone here is moronic. The real reason is that the Boruto writer needed an excuse to have Naruto stay out of most conflicts so that Boruto can do stuff. That's also why Naruto and Sasuke are weaker than in the Boruto movie and why they struggled so much against Isshiki. Also why Naruto had to lose Kurama and why Sasuke lost his Rinnegan.
He stopped caring about his family when Hinata got a breast reduction.
Her canon size as seen in the bath house is MASSIVE. I can't stand this kind of nerf. Believe it.
They're just sagging so much they've flattened.
>anime characters get married
>japs and troons start making a frick ton of cuck porn about them
Why are they like this?
How do you even know that?
Because I follow non-cuck accounts on twitter and they repost it
I can't think of any legitimate reason to follow any account that regularly posts cuckold porn, even ironically.
That does not answer the original question. What is it about happiness that they so resent?
I'm more concerned about your consumption of cuckold porn than your question at this point.
More of a vanilla type really
Boruto was a mistake.
Boruto is a gateway anime of the best kind. It's a great series, with a story and characterization that is very well done in most aspects, and which bolsters its strengths with great character development and a dark, complicated plot. Your average anon, hopefully, is intelligent enough to see this as the masterpiece it is, and may enjoy it, hate it or be indifferent to it, but all the while recognizing that the series itself, regardless of their opinion, is very well thought out and deserves recognition and respect.
These very aspects that make the anime so deep and mature make it a discussion ground for scholarly gentlemen who engage in every kind of both online and in the real world. The hard-working characters who continue to stand against all odds, the realistic jutsus and well-designed clothes, the whole and everything about the complex Boruto world provides fuel for much thought, and the deep character backgrounds, their dark past and emphasis on revenge, and overall greatness of the series make it fit just right with the refined taste of your average intellectual and his sense of disappointment towards the world’s dull, un-thought provoking choices in entertainment. Exactly the kind of material that brings the intelligent and well-educated together over critical discussion.
Boruto is basically THE series to attract the highest-tier fanbase known to Cinemaphile, which is why, regardless of individual opinions, it is the responsibility of every anon to support the existence of threads discussing the subject, and make sure to give a friendly bump to all Boruto threads to make sure Cinemaphile’s elite continue to show their faces here.
Um no
gay
One of the kids on the bottom is like 15, he even has piercings. Did he get held back? Is he special ed or something?
He’s the new sasuke. He was raised by an alien cult and doesn’t have any training, but since he has alien powers they rush him through school.
don't question XXXKawtacion, he can't keep his dick in his pants
Hokage has no administrative power in the village
>They are ninjas who are paid to protect the area.
>limited legal power
Kishimoto and everyone else don't know how naruto works. If in boruto they live in peacetime naruto would have no work at all, So naruto just hates hinata and pretends that he is working. Maybe he was responsible for the otsutsuki
Good point. Also from the village being obliterated with Almighty Push to it's current state, really didn't take that much effort since they had a dude whose ability is to just make houses out of nothing.
It's kind of horse shit that all this time he is still guarding Ochimaru, Wood Ninja should be the richest guy in town. Imagine being able to make several houses a day out of food but the government won't let you, they deploy your ass nonstop alone near a powerful enemy for 16 years straight. Other characters got to follow dreams and become teachers or buy homes and have hobbies or have time to go shopping, watch movies, ride trains, act in movies, watch little tournaments, date and marry, decorate their gay little homes. Meanwhile he's just forced to be vigilant nonstop against a monster sage.
I would have gone AWOL after 1 deployment.
Wrong board
frick off weebs
Reminder.
Did they really urbanize the mountain above konoha? That's a lot of building.
Who lives there? Where did they come from? Just by the look of that image it looks like that area could house more people than the original Konoha.
Yes. I think the implication is that it's been there all along and they're unknown to modernity.
I don't think those buildings were there the whole series if that's what you're saying. I'm almost certain they've been built entirely in the time since Shippuden ended.
I'm not saying it's not a retcon, you can see the full area when pain crushes the village, but there's nothing to show they're brand new buildings. Even China doesn't build a full city like that in that short amount of time.
Nah everything I can find on it, says the village became a city after the 4th war. All that metropolitan area has been built since shippuden ended. They're ninjas and can summon monstrosities to help them build, it's really not the hardest thing to believe in this series.
If they built the city themselves then it wouldn't look like a modern city, it'd just be a big version of the village.
It's to impress upon that times have advanced anon. There's literally nothing ever suggesting that it is from anyone else. It was not there when Pain destroyed the city, it is there afterwards, no one ever remarks it as being incredibly different. You are thinking way, way too much about this when it is obvious.
There's literally nothing ever suggesting it was made by them.
In fact there's nothing suggesting it wasn't just a retcon.
There's the fact that it wasn't there. There's absolutely nothing that even begins to suggest it's a retcon. It's literally modern skyscrapers built in a modern city. Technology progressed, did you freak the frick out when you watched Korra and the same thing happened? It's illustrating that they are more modern. Naruto fans are seriously the dumbest morons imaginable.
>There's the fact that it wasn't there.
That just means it's a retcon. You're acting like retcons have never happened before.
>Technology progressed
In that exclusive area, by hundreds of years.
>did you freak the frick out when you watched Korra
Why would I watch Korra?
Does Boruto take place in a modern society? No. So why are you assuming those modern buildings are a part of the village?
These copes are pathetic.
moron
I don't see an argument, so I accept your concession.
Destroyed modern cities exist, the Uchiha used one as a storehouse. Very random detail, but using it as a template for newer buildings isn’t out of the question.
>If they built the city themselves then it wouldn't look like a modern city
Wtf are you even saying, if every building looked like a fat wiener shooting up into the sky then that's exactly what they are supposed to look like because it's fiction and that's what Kishi decided.
>bro he just decided it, that's why there's inconsistency
Or maybe he decided it wasn't them that built it and that the secret ninjas were hidden amongst modernity.
You're making shit up to cope with the fact it's fricking moronic.
>Or maybe he decided it wasn't them that built it and that the secret ninjas were hidden amongst modernity.
The audacity to type this and then accuse me of making shit up. They built bigger buildings, hardly the most mind bending "inconsistency" in this series. No specific time or technological limit was established, there's no retcon.
Because you are making shit up.
>they're just bigger buildings
Is that the only difference you can see? The building size?
>Because you are making shit up
What am I making up, anon? The original series has fricking televisions and computers as well as reasonably large buildings to begin with. Technology which far surpasses the technology of the time when Skyscrapers were made in real life. It seems like you don't know what a retcon is.
Yeah and it's all wrapped in ninja magic. You know what they don't have? Modern buildings.
>what am I making up?
Everything. None of us know the actual reason because Kishimoto's a homosexual.
I haven't made anything up, I literally just told you facts from the series that you can verify yourself. It's not a retcon that they built new buildings in 15 years when they clearly had modern influence in the series the entire time. You don't know what a retcon is.
>I literally just told you facts from the series
No, you're telling me headcanon in an attempt to explain why it's there. There's nothing at all saying that they built it, you're making it up.
>No, you're telling me headcanon in an attempt to explain why it's there.
No, I told you the facts. They built buildings in 15 years, that isn't my headcanon, that is literally what happened. You desperately trying to pretend it must mean something else is headcanon.
>No, I told you the facts.
>They built buildings in 15 years
Ok where do they say that? Where do they say that those buildings in that pic were built in that 15 year period by them?
This is next level autism. Guess how buildings become buildings. They get built. Because I'm not a fricking moron, I can logically deduce that they built the buildings. Why is this so hard for you?
Ok so they never say, meaning you're making shit up.
The buildings weren't there before, now they are. They were built in the time between. This is not a retcon. You cannot refute this, because it's the facts. Glad I could help.
>They were built in the time between
Or it's a retcon. You're presenting headcanon as fact.
No, little buddy we've been over this, you don't know what a retcon is. Nothing you've said has been anything close to an argument or really even coherent. You're just saying nuh-uh when presented with irrefutable facts. Your point hinges entirely on claiming the original manga isn't canon. It's so stupid I'm sure you're trolling at this point.
If you ignore arguments and pretend they aren't coherent, then there are no arguments and the arguments made aren't coherent.
This is a you problem, you're trying to be moronic. You relish in being moronic. You simply don't want to accept that the mangaka added some moronic detail at the end that's never been explained.
You haven't even presented evidence that anyone acknowledges its existence. You just keep screaming "LALALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU IT ISN'T A RETCON!!!!" as if it changes anything.
There's not a single element that suggests it's a retcon. It's on you to prove that it's a retcon because you're the dribbling frickwit who's insisting there's been one. I don't need characters to spoonfeed me obvious information about the world building that I can piece together myself. Buildings that weren't around 15 years ago, that are now around, were built in that time. You still have to explain why there needs to be a retcon in order for Konoha to have cityscape development. I've already provided you with evidence that there's modern tech and influence in Naruto. You completely ignored that as "ninja magic" like the stupid moron you are, completely dodging the key point. No mongoloid, you haven't offered any constructive thought what-so-ever. Just insisting that there's been a retcon with zero rational thought to back it up.
>There's not a single element that suggests it's a retcon
The fact it's a giant modern city, and the village is called "Hidden Leaf Village".
>b-but a similar building
Don't care, that isn't a giant modern city.
The fact you still haven't proven anyone acknowledges its existence tells me all I need to know.
Despite being literally proven wrong with evidence and basic deduction skills you still keep blabbering on. The other anon was right, you actually are moronic. You are objectively wrong, that's all there is to it.
>with evidence
Evidence combined with your assertions isn't evidence, that's just headcanon.
>Evidence combined with your assertions isn't evidence
My "assertions" are observations of what's presented. Your assertions are based entirely on nothing. There are city buildings in the manga now because of development, modernization is a huge theme in the opening of Boruto. I really can't express how moronic you sound with this non argument you're trying to make about a retcon. Please explain why it's a retcon, you actually haven't even managed a single post that's halfway convincing. You just keep saying they don't have buildings like that over and over. Yes moron, they developed them in the 15 years of peace time they had, just like they developed ninja tools and the myriad of technologies on display. Are you gonna say it's a retcon that they're using phones and laptops now too?
And yet none of your "observations" have even attempted to prove that the giant city is a part of the village.
At least the other anon tried, even if what he showed just looks like a bigger village.
That isn't "modernization" it's straight up dropping a 2023 city into 1800s japan.
The skyscrapers existing outside the village doesn't mean they're part of the village.
My theory is that Kishimoto retconned and added city on the outskirts, likely for some "ninjas are hidden in your world, be amazed children" moronation. Slightly related, but I don't think he intended on doing Boruto.
Your theory is that Kishimoto added that city to the hidden leaf village, and for some reason no one ever goes there or mentions it and no skyscrapers are ever shown again.
Hold on, I'm just now grasping the actual depth of the moronation that you're suggesting. You think the cityscape is literally the real world that's been there the whole series, out of view...
Aside from the obvious reasons why that's clearly not the case, you're immune to logical reasoning so just consider that there's a time travel episode in Boruto that clearly shows no cityscape. It didn't exist when Naruto was a kid, as backed up by the show. Everything you say it's just dumb unfounded horseshit.
>You think the cityscape is literally the real world that's been there the whole series, out of view...
I think it's a possibility. Writers have done this shit before. And again I'm not sure he intended on continuing with Boruto (I could be wrong).
>there's a time travel episode in Boruto that clearly shows no cityscape
Does it show the cityscape today? Again, I've yet to see anyone acknowledge the city's existence. The closest was "the city is growing" combined with a pic of a below-cliffs shot off ninja-houses, not modern houses. Shit, maybe it was so moronic he wrote it out immediately.
Post the fricking city.
You are the only human being on planet earth that thinks the cluster of buildings on the monument is actually the real world and Ninjas have been secretly operating adjacent to them the entire time. That's such a psychotic take to have. That would completely and utterly reshape the narrative and world of Naruto. It would make the entire story make zero sense. I haven't been arguing with a moron, I've been arguing with a mentally ill person.
I like how you ignore
>possibly
>likely
as you please.
You've still yet to prove anyone acknowledges its existence. So have fun with your headcanon.
>He said headcanon again
You're the guy who literally fabricated an entire reworking of the story because he was mindbroken by a bunch of buildings.
I see you still haven't posted anyone acknowledging the buildings. In fact you still haven't posted the buildings themselves. Funny that. Surely if they were a part of the village they'd be shown, mentioned, explored, etc.
i see what's happening here. you're thinking of Boruto's Kiragakure, the Hidden Mist Village.
the Hidden Mist Village wasn't exactly small or short of tall ass buildings to begin with though, even back in Part 1 and Part 2.
No I'm thinking of the city above the hidden leaf village shown at the end of Naruto.
i'm not the anon you're arguing with, but if you've watched both parts of Naruto, the movies, and Boruto – and don't realize that one of the main themes of Boruto is the Shinobi Industrial Revolution that's been happening during the timeskip, then you're straight up moronic. they haven't retconned anything about architecture, the very first fricking arc of Boruto is about how Konoha has a science division now and Boruto gets tricked into using some bullshit illegal Scientific Shinobi Tool during the Chunin Exams and gets disqualified. nothing about the original series is being retconned, it's just literally just that one of the main themes of this sequel series is the Shinobi Industrail Revolution like i said earlier. somehow you missed that because you're a fricking moron. this is the only (You) you're getting from me.
>i'm not the anon you're arguing with
Then maybe you can provide evidence of anyone acknowledging that city.
Surely, if it's a part of the village then they visit it. People must live there, things must happen there, people must at least talk about it.
there's at least one entire episode dedicated to establishing that the Leaf Village has grown so large that they have a traditional Post Office now and deliver mail in Teams of 4 following 4 different routes throughout the entire Village - including whatever "city" you're talking about. i'm not reading all your posts to figure out what you mean by that, but skip to 1:54 and watch that scene. there it is.
That just looks like the village extended, all the houses are normal naruto houses (possibly slightly more modernized, but still old style). Here's Boruto posting some mail, I'm assuming acting as a mailman, you can see the cliff behind the houses.
You can see the "city" in the final chapter
above the cliff.
There is a map at about 2 minutes but it doesn't appear to show anything noticeable except a few rivers and an arbitrary "You're here" dot, can't even tell where the cliff is.
there's also a train/railway system that helps people travel all across the Village – Shikamaru's son literally remarks aloud that the Village is getting huge.
Those are still village houses. I'm not seeing a single skyscraper or modern office building.
That's from an episode of Boruto, anon. It's the world with skyscrapers in...
They obviously built them using some form of ninjutsu. Konoha recovers to almost completion after being literally nuked by Pain in a series of months. They could build that area above in a few years easily.
>Naruto makes a shit-ton of clones and passes off nine-tails chakra to a bunch of carpenters / builders
yeah they probably could have constructed that city in a week
Rain village always kind of looked half-way modern as well
You don't make buildings like that with carpenters anon, skyscrapers are mostly steel and stone (and glass). I guess a carpenter can make the door (assuming it isn't electric and metal+glass).
the carpenters installed the carpet
They had Baby booming after Ninja World War 2
>Baby boom
Literally all the named characters except Naruto had only one kid. Some of them are 30 year old femcels like 1010 or bawds who are still unmarried at 26 like Hinata's sister Hanabi.
>one piece logo
uhh
The mangaka are friendly with each other. Oda also referenced Naruto at the same time.
Advertising it on the very final chapter of the series on the MCs forehead is just 1 of the more brazen plugs I've seen for something like that, not that I'm hating on it
What the frick, I had thought Rurouni Kenshin finished before One Piece began. I remembered being interested in it as a kid but it must have taken a couple years to get over to America, as I don't remember beginning to read it until around 2000.
Friendly reminder that there is a Rurouni Kenshin anime reboot currently airing that just started last month
so what's the end result of the fiasco with the mangaka? I mean actual facts not, what twitter say
on Cinemaphile at least there was a lot of "calling out" about it on almost any Kenshin thread for a few years prior, even up to in the weeks before the remake aired ep 1, but it's been running for about 6 weeks now and anons have mostly let it go aside from a post or two here and there
The main discussions kind of stagnated on the fact that no one really knows what kind of materials he actually had
Besides that most anons still seem to say just to watch the original anime if you had to pick 1
Cinemaphile is mostly twitter leftards though, they're not reliable
Qrd?
the mangaka got caught with questionable pedo shit, he got fined or something.
Holy shit Naruto and One Piece art is so fricking bad I hate looking at it. Look at all that contrasting crap just shoved onto that page, can’t even tell what I’m looking at.
Maybe you're blind. I'm sorry for your loss.
Two people are eating in a store, there's a mascot on ones head and the other is being obscured by a woman and some animal.
why the frick did kishimoto decide to build new york outside konoha, its the stupidest shit. its not understanding the appeal of the world that you've built. who the frick wanted that
Naruto’s mom’s village was modern, the Uchiha cat city was modern, and the series ends with Naruto and Sasuke reconciling, it’s pottery.
>I want to be the next hokage
>I want to be a community leader and politician
naruto has weird goals for a kid with a fox demon in his ass
Cinemaphile talks about anime
>Shitposting and fighting
Cinemaphile talks about tv and movies
>Shitposting, fighting, conspiracy theories about bankers
Cinemaphile talks about anime
>Kino
Why are the best threads never on topic to their board?
It's off-topic trash that belongs on its own board. Sick of seeing this weebshit in every corner of Cinemaphile.
It's overdattebayo 🙁
His dream wasn't to actually be Hokage, he just wanted to be recognized by everyone in the village to the point that he could become Hokage.
The position itself is meaningless, all he cared about was what it meant for his standing in society.
I don't watch anime anymore but did his kid wind up inheriting the Byakugan white eyes thing or whatever? Just looks like blue eyes like Naruto's. I thought those eye things were like dominant genetics that everyone inherited?
I haven't seen it either, but I bet he has some special version that he can only use at the most important moments, but it is the most powerful of all. This stuff writes itself.
This series ended years ago. No one will ever convince me Boruto is anything other than fanfiction.
Same with how they butchered DBZ with DBS. Completely soulless.
Probably some criticism of Japanese bureaucracy.
Rock lee should've been hokage
Kishimoto wanted to teach you a lesson and you absolutely missed it. Rock Lee is a piece of shit, it's Kishimoto telling you that hard work doesn't take you anywhere.
Neji was right all along and it's even more pathetic how people took so long to notice. Naruto only defeated Neji because he had a demon with infinite chackra inside him, almost like a Kekkei Genkai.
Also later It was reveleaded that he's the grandson of the grandson of some fricker founded the ninja World.
He has never been a loser.
It's true, hard work is important but a genius who works hard will always beat a shitter who works harder. The best the shitter can hope for is beating a genuis slacker.
Even worse. Naruto has peak genetic superiority with his father and being an uzimaki meant that he has a larger chakra pool and is naturally resilient, the fox is just icing. He was only ever an underdog because of the shitty seal he had making it hard to control his chakra but jiraiha fixed it then taught him a couple broken jutsus. He always had the advantage
Fricking exactly! Thank you.
Naruto isn't just genetically great, he got a tailed beast (perfect luck), and was the reincarnation of the founder. This is rolling a D&D character with perfect stats. And he was born at the right time and place to get good training and form a sage and his grand master.
Rock Lee at his best has to open the final gate and kill himself to just rival other strong characters. That is the pinnacle of effort and it's still worthless.
Yeah, him being a literal ninja jesus was when it got even more laughable. Neiji is spinning in his grave. And here I though bleach was silly when it came to making ichigo be a hybrid of 4 different species
Naruto's peak was the Pain arc.
>Conquers Nine Tails
>Defeats the failed version of himself
>Everyone in the village now likes Naruto
>Meets his mom
They should have wrapped up the Sasuke shit afterwards.
Couldve easily have wrapped things up during and a little after the pain arc but the money was still flowing strong so they milked it with that long piece of shit war arc
>Defeats the failed version of himself
>Meets his mom
Both of these happened after the Pain arc on the giant turtle
>[
Series peaked earlier on
>villains are an actual threat with Deidara defeating Gaara
>Great dramatic moments like Sasori vs Chyo and Naruto vs Orochimaru
>Good group dynamic with the new team 7
I would even say that Hebi X Bee was the last last great moment of the series. Pain I found overrated Kakashi death and the most memorable thing and the anime adaptation of the arc
The 5 kages meeting was the peak
Seeing Konoha get completely obliterated was 1 of those things that people who'd been following the series for years could really connect with - It felt like /our home/ was destroyed and it felt very endgame at the time
I imagine it might not hit as hard to someone picking up the series sometime in the past decade, knowing that there's still hundreds of episodes left and a childhood spinoff show
if anything, the pain arc should have had a time skip immediately after, with naruto turning 21 and joining the anbu black ops. instead the ninja war happens like a couple months right after and naruto becomes god. fricking hell it was stupid
This is jump battle shonen. Anything in the 20s even early 20s is boomer age. They would never timeskip him out of his teens, even the "last" movie had to make him be 19 the oldest
>Meets his mom
starts playing
anime peaked here
Why does he have whiskers
Naruto was originally going to be a fox. He is a fox in the one shot.
He's busy getting fricked and sucked and simply tells his wife he has to stay late at the office again.
Please be understanding.
That you're a homosexual for watching anime
naruto seems kinda gay
One of the last scenes is hand holding between Naruto and Sasuke, so yeah it's kinda gay.
Spoilered to protect the innocent among us.
Oh god I forgot the spoiler. I'm so sorry for letting potential virgin eyes witness this behaviour, I'll commit sudoku now.
kino shot composition
I feel like another species blood would be bad for you, even if they're anthropomorphic.
Luffy has had God blood all along now, so he's probably a universal donor and recipient to anything that's even remotely humanoid.
>comparing Naruto to Clown Piece
come on, son
get this Bugs Bunny Type Nika face ass story away from Naruto and Sasuke lmao
believe it dattebayo!
It doesn't even compare, one piece is trash
they're not holding hands. if their hands hadn't been blown away, they'd have performed the Seal of Reconciliation as a parallel to the traditional Shinobi Sparring they did when training as kids growing up in Konoha. that's what you're meant to take away from the way they're laying next to one another. they showed Naruto and Sasuke make the same hand gesture at the end of their first big fight in the Valley of the End while they're frozen in that giant sphere of Chakra that formed when their techniques clashed.
https://naruto.fandom.com/wiki/Traditional_Shinobi_Sparring
I meant to type holding hands in blood but I forgot it like I forgot the spoiler. What you said is probably true, but them holding hands there has always been the meme.
Zamn, Sasuke's daughter looks like this?!
Wtf she’s a prostitute
>bad father
>daughter becomes a prostitute
it's realistic
Absent father doesn't make you a prostitute
Shitty mother and absent father, what else could you expect?
And she works for the hokage on special missions if you know what I mean
Naruto trains Sarada every day.
the guy who drew Boruto in the beginning was extremely horny for Sarada. none of this has carried over into the anime though, and the anime canon supercedes manga canon for Boruto so it's more like a variant cover featuring Sarada than a canon depiction.
>the guy who drew Boruto in the beginning was extremely horny for Sarada
Lol. Any examples?
I saw 1 image from the Boruto manga in recent months of 3 girls sharing a bed together with their qt legs and feet on display (Sarada being there but I'm not sure on the other 2 girls)
Why did the artist draw her like a mature woman?
PART 2 IN FIVE DAYS BORTBROS
LITERALLY THE DAY AFTER MY EBT REFILLS
WILL BE READING BORTKINO WITH COMFY SNACKS
GET HYPE
man the quality of anime has really gone down the shitter, this looks like crap
Jiraya wasn't lazy
he knew what achieving happiness in life is about, a bottle of sake in one hand, and a big tiddie on the other.
Naruto ended after The Last movie where Naruto and Hinata tied the knot. Boruto is the Dragon Ball Super of Naruto.
Tobirama was right,
he got one of the 2 biggest tragedies man can suffer on his life, he got what he desired, and the dream ended.
I like that Naruto ended up as a shitty father, he always wanted family but never had a father so it makes sense he sucks at being one.
He got to frick prime Hinata twice. I’d say it’s an even trade.
>parents only have sex as many times as they have kids and that's it
Do you have proof of any other times? Didn’t think so.
Shit taste. This one is the best version.
Those sizes. Naruto and hinata were around the same height when they were young adults and now he's as tall as a pro NBA player?
And deflowered
>tfw no doujin where adult Naruto and Hinata take turns using transformation jutsu to play out some /ss/ and /ddlg/ fantasies
i really should have learned how to draw
Good news, anon! There's an artist whose latest works are exactly what you are talking about. It's a blessing!
A name you bastard. I need a name.
Shadman
He's in jail.
They arrest him for diddling?
Nope, he assaulted someone with a deadly weapon and had heroin.
Assault with a deadly weapon. No idea why, but apparently he became a heroin addict so that could have something to do with it.
Lickliking is the name. They got some juicy fanarts with Naruto and Hinata in the swing, they're just too good. Go and enjoy them, anon.
woah, that sounds pretty frickin' kino. i'll have to look for it later, thanks for the head's up anon
Officially sanctioned history under the Naruto regime
>Black Zetsu was a really bad creature that manipulated people into doing bad things in order to awaken his mommy
>He manipulated Madara into going bad
>He brainwashed Obito, the coolest guy, into being evil
>He brainwashed Itachi into murdering his clan, but Itachi was able to overcome the brainwashing enough to spare his brother because he loved him so much.
>Sasuke was a great guy, he left the village for a few years to train with respected Ninja scientist Orochimaru
>Sasuke killed Itachi, but managed to find out that it was all Black Zetsu's fault
>All Five Nations went to war against Black Zetsu, and his army of White Zetsus and Edo Tenseis controlled by the evil Mizuki
>Sasuke helped save the world from Black Zetsu's mother Kaguya, then he and Naruto had a fight for fun
Essentially. If the masses knew the truth of that war and all that nonsense, theyd riot.
>"Why the frick did the hokage just pardon his BFF because he was sad? That motherfricker worked for the akatsuki and wanted to destroy our village at one point"
>"what contributions can orochimichal jackson make? That butthole kidnapped kids and experimented on them...oh, he learned his lesson and just uses clones instead of kidnapping? Problem solved"
>they'd riot
LMAO good fricking luck. base Madara bodied like 300 people and 5 Kage in the middle of the desert with no cover. end Naruto and Sasuke could max out everyone in Konoha alone, what are they gonna do? Kurama doesn't sleep either, good luck sneaking Naruto while he's in bed. and Sasuke can sleep in another dimension and Rinnegan back in the morning. lmao
>Kurama
Anon...
in the scenario i was picturing, the village would've rioted about Sasuke and what really happened during the war well before Isshiki. post Isshiki though, yeah, Naruto and Sasuke would need to get a little more creative about their sleeping arrangements. the Kurama/Rinnegan situation and the girl with the stupid OP eyes was where i dropped the series, i try not to think about them. lol
sasuke lost his rinnegan in the most pathetic way and naruto doesn't have kurama any more. They both were nerfed so boruto can shine
>Kurama
>Rinnegan
Does someone wanna tell him?
trust the plan
Is hinata ignorant to orochimaru like most of the leaf or is she just dumb?
Orochimaru the war hero who saved the 5 kages
Everyone in the Leaf agreed to spreading fake news about the 4th Ninja War and any events before it. Might Guy was gonna boast about how he beat down Madara Uchiha but then claims he couldn't remember who he fought.
Imagine going suicide mode to be the only one to beat madara at his strongest form and not being allow to even brag about it. Guy has it rough.
I also theorized that most ninja did random grunt/adventurer work you'd see from DnD guild quest like the zabuza mission to protect the construction worker to build the bridge and actual military/spy work was reserved for their equivalent of black ops being the Anbu...but Abu quickly became a joke and we find out that it's actually just that dumb and any ninja can do any kind of mission
I don't give a frick how many lasers he can shoot out of his wiener. I'm not hiring Naruto Uzumaki to frame my business rival for embezzlement. Blonde moron would get me arrested.
Funny how early in the series talked endlessly about how important stealth and tactics are to their profession only for it all to get BTFO and turn everything into a loud destruction derby of a battle. People original liked to joke that a ninja in a bright orange tracksuit is dumb but they really made it the least egregious thing about the series
Give me a spinoff of Naruto constantly fricking up non combat missions as he's getting ready for Hokage. I mean long droning intrigues with like 18 interconnected webs that he gets frustrated and lost in. It'd be so funny
That's be hilarious but since he's long been known as the tailed host, he's a living tactical nuke that they only send out for missions that require a nuke. If they wanted to pull more bullshit they could just make him rely on sage mode all the time because it's just that overpowered. He essentially becomes a dragonball character with it and can sense pretty much everything
That first chapter tease and the crossed out headband shit make it seem like he was gonna be some sort of banished or disgraced wanderer or something but from what I understand it's just some alien with switcheroo magic that got him kicked out. Can any Bortgay gimme a quick summary of what happens to him?
I thought that the timeskip was just bullshit to string people along. They did some random edgy designs that they thought people would find cool and forgot about it for several years.
Imagine being the only living descendant of the clan with the best eyes and still being visually impaired. Sakura has some shit genes
I think they REALLY wanted to do that Karin-glasses arc
You'd think Sakura could use her advanced medical skills on her womb to cure any defects
From what I remember she was fricking around outside with Sasuke while pregnant. When her water broke they were lucky to be close to one of Orochimaru's old human experiment labs to deliver with Karin and the rest of Sasuke's old terrorist team.
Naruto adopts some orphaned version of Sasuke (his name is Kawaki) who was abused by some alien related to Kaguya, flashforward a bit and Kawaki gets all crazy and put Naruto and Hinata under a coma and some crazy android with alien powers who has the hots for Kawaki; after Kawaki was found for putting Naruto and Hinata in a coma he flees and attacks Boruto but that b***h sarada gets in the way and Boruto protects her and loses his eye, Kawaki then flees again and encounters the hot alien who uses her power and basically switch Boruto and Kawaki, so now Kawaki is the son of Naruto and Hinata and truly loved by Konoha while Boruto is the orphan bastard who "killed" naruto and hinata
This sounds like shit but Narutards are being annoyingly smug and uppity about it
>This sounds like shit but Borutards are being annoyingly smug and uppity about it
Ftfy
Narutards become Borutards.
Not all of them, I'm a narutard and I don't give a damn about boruto.
Naruto story line wasn't perfect but it was interesting. Boruto is a flat out cash grab.
If the story line keep going the way it is Boruto and Sasuke's daughter will have a son who will have the peak genetics from the top clans.
The series should have ended with Naruto and Sasuke both dying.
Honestly I wouldn't put one piece of shit above the other, Narutards to Borutards are closer than DBZgays to DBSupergays
lmao what the frick is going on with that show
>Sasuke shows more emotion to a dinosaur than he does his wife or daughter
KEK
>sasuke cares more about a dinosaur than sakura
LMAO
>When the dino touches Sasuke's arm
I felt that
Sakura will never have anything like this lmao
she's fortunate to even have anything
Genuinely cant tell if fanfiction or a just a shitpost but this is naruto now. This shit is making me miss the pre-shippuden fillers of all things
>Kaguya had a partner, DBS style
>He founded a cult to get a better body for himself
>This body is a boy Boruto’s age, who he beats every day for training
>The boy comes to the village, is adopted by Naruto, comes to only care about him
>Boruto is also possessed by the alien from his movie
>the boy wants to kill all aliens, Boruto included, and switches their place in the world
> he then frames Boruto for killing his own parents, which to the outside world, appears as if a stranger was welcomed in by the hokage and then killed him
Sounds like Japan
Even in the escapism fantasy of magic ninja world, the japanese still cant escapes the reality of corporate slavery
cause kishimoto is a moron, the end of Naruto should have been obito and sasuke trying to usher a new age of monopoly on nukes(jubis), with a final battle of super obito blanco x kakashi and guy and naruto x sasuke.
Sasuke almost kills Naruto but gives up in the end.
Naruto ends all war and credits talk about how Naruto was almost considered a deity that united the world, post credits Sasuke like that Hulk movie but Sasuke is just travelling on the road
I'm almost sure the "city" under the Hokage Rock has just buildings related to the technology of Konoha like for non Ninjas to work at
Are there even non-ninjas in that village? Isn't the idea that it's a hidden village of ninjas (leaf version)?
The village is hidden, the population of all villages mostly consist of normal people while ninjas are rare the genetic freaks of nature that practice eugenics and fight enemy villages and their army of genetic freaks
>Are there even non-ninjas in that village?
Yes. It's more explored during the earlier Boruto anime how even some kids who graduated from the Academy wouldn't become full Ninjas because of the peace that Naruto achieved, so there's people working delivering mails or actors or being cops
They're still doing it in ninjay ways.
Even in Naruto there were dropouts but they were still ninja dropouts. From what I remember Naruto himself was somewhat of a dropout, he didn't pass that Chunin exam when everyone else did. But of course he's a special case.
I thought that in naruto, if you were past a certain age and still a genin, you'd be seen as a moron like an adult whose still in elementary school because he got held back so many times. naruto and sasuke are both genin for some moronic reason though, you'd think that with the connotation of being one, theyd promote already even if there wasnt a point to
The ranks in Naruto are completely nonsensical if looked at for even a second.
I always headcannoned that the show focuses on the military side of the world and there's entire espionage and counter-espionage division that most shinobi end up in doing actual ninja work. Like you've got the public face with all these famous names that you put on movie posters and the majority of the work is like people doing data entry or swapping financial ledgers and boring ninja shit. I mean how the frick is a ninja village going to send Kakashi to do anything ninjalike in nature? Dude is recognized on sight by everyone in the world, they need plausible deniablity for their real sneaky ninjas.
They went from:
>kids being sent out to ninja war while they were still genin and became chunin after earning enough kills
>kids being sent to ninja school, graduating to do mostly safe supervised missions, then became chunin if they got a participation trophy in a tournament arc.
>genin school is now kindergarten, being a child soldier is so antiquated that kids would rather use their ninja powers to deliver mail
Madara is spinning in his grave
The chuunin exam just never made any fricking sense in general. I mean the finals were composed of like 80% home village and 20% one other village with a 1/5 promotion rate for those shinobi. What about all the other villages? My actual military unit attrited more people to diarrhea than the entire shinobi world promotes in a year. It's fricking moronic. Like 99% of shinobi would HAVE to he field promotions. And the whole middle rank exists to only job to anything with a pulse.
Exams are just bullshit
>Major clans of the village expose their prodigies to unnecessary harm
>They also expose their secret techniques, I don't know if anyone noticed but that's a big deal in the naruto universe
It's overall nonsesical the arc would be better if it was Gaara visiting the village for political reasons and a mystery murder plot happens. kinda happened that in the second half of the arc when that jonin was killed. Despite all that Orochimaru X Sasuke & Naruto is great
Honestly political intrigue murder plot would work so much better, and contrast with Zabuza's arc really well. Maybe the team gets exposed to blackmail, or figures out they've been ordered to plant evidence implicating someone and it follows the "What is a ninja?"thread from earlier.
Yeah, it's moronic for many reasons.
>Part of the chunin exams can fail you out if someone on your team screwed up >if you followed the rules for the written test and get caught cheating you fail..
>if you dont follow the rules and open the scroll you fail
>the forest of death has a high mortality rate. Do nations really want to weed out their rare commodity of young talent soldiers for what is essentially their version of the Olympics?
And yeah, thinking about it for a few seconds, a majority of ninjas would still be genin because deciding who gets promoted by annual tournaments with 1/5 is dumb..
It's not even 1/5 it's like 1/200 at best. For the entire world. They'd lose more shinobi to snake bites than they'd create in a annual period. They'd have no ability to project force or actually so jack shit beyond their borders. Frankly Zabuza was right about everything.
Plenty of manga have fallen into the same trap.
>this thing is super hard/exclusive!
>MC passes it/the arc continues
>everyone from now on has passed/dealt with it, this means for every person that passed it there were X number who failed/died
At some point it just gets silly.
This is common in so many battle shonen but HunterxHunter does this to the extreme. The hunter exam the chunin exam but with even more death and the people that win the hunter exam are still weak jobbers compared to the ones that learn to use nen, and even those ones are jobbers in the grand scheme. It's truly ridiculous
But in hxh there is balance in the power scale, anyone can beat anyone with the correct nen ability.
>320 posts - page 5
Pull the plug
>piece of shit ungrateful son as a result
I keep seeing this and I really I'm starting to think I'm the only one that thinks Boruto is the only one calling Naruto out for being a really shitty father.
it's a reflection of Japanese life. Also, Boruto isn't canon
>Masashi Kishimoto serialized the NARUTO manga in "Weekly Shonen Jump' from 1999 to 2014. Currently, he has a serialization in 'VJump with the spin-off work -BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS - working as the original series creator and supervising editorial director."
which is your favourite? for me, it's KCM2.
Sage mode.
OG sage mode. Mostly because of how long they hyped it up with the training arc then delivered with the hype moment when he returned and fought all the pains alone. It was also one of his larger jumps in power going from base.
Everything else happened in the final war arc and none of them had enough time of establishment to differentiate how much different they are to each other. "Wow. He's brighter and more orange than before...and look at that, he's making a big rasengan again. I bet it's totally stronger than the last big rasengan he made while he was glowing orange"
KCM was built up, too. Everyone knew Naruto was gonna have to tame Kurama at some point. Everything after KCM2 is shit.
I wanted Naruto Part 3, man....
Apparently they asked kishimoto if he wanted but he said no so they went with boruto
It would have had fit
child>teen>adult>death
though it'd be too sad to see it, would also get moronic with power levels since alien shit would likely have not been introduced and Madara was too strong. But maybe if he planned it it would be before madara came back?
>retcon Alien powers and sit
>timeskip
>Naruto is 19 now
>gets his own team
>travels around with Hinata and team trying to help out nations
>see him rise up the ranks to become Hokage
their
Sound kino
Naruto needs to fill Hinata with a few more kids. Naruko NEEDS to happen!
