The animation is a massive downgrade. The low framerate makes it look like one of those straight-to-DVD sequels. You just know they're trying to cut corners as much as possible when they're not bothering to animate hair anymore. Every studio is trying to copy the spider-verse because they know people will watch it regardless of the quality.

200 million on the dot. Meanwhile, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish had $90–110 million and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse had $90 million with the sequel having $100 million.

You leftists always argue in bad faith. Dishonest cowards. They are currently EVERYWHERE. It's to the point where it's surprising when a historical film only has whites in it during a time period where the population in an area was 99.99% white. They're all over advertisements, half the time as a black guy with a white woman, redheads in adaptions get turned black, and there is always always always a token black or two in every single movie and TV show now, even in bongistan where they're about 2% of the population. Their music gets blasted 24/7 in clubs and stores. People try to speak like them. People try to dress like them. Their influence is completely undeserved and forced by the media all the fricking time. Witch hunts are held constantly to find anyone who criticizes them to punish them for daring to speak badly of the west's new gods. And for what?
What exactly do they do that warrants them being the center of the world? What is their contribution beyond menial entertainment?

Disney has had brown princesses since the 90s. Moana was highly popular only 7 years ago and nobody was seething over her skin color. Why is it suddenly a problem now? What happened?

No one has a problem with black chatacters in media.
The problem is modern black characters all look and act like urban ghetto street trash mubling all of their lines.

      It's multiple things:

      - Disney is all in on IDpol now. Movies like the original Aladdin and Mulan were just allowed to be a family animated films that were accessible to everyone. These are now a political statement, with actors, directors and execs crowing about representation. You have paid and unpaid shills running stories in the media to defend their nonsense. Look at the voice cast for The Lion King versus its remake. They clearly made it a point to hire as many blacks as possible because their talking animal movie is set in Africa, lmao.

      - Moana is set in ancient Polynesia, so it makes complete sense that it would star Polynesians. Wish is set in Spain, with headlines claiming this girl is Disney's "first Spanish princess." This character doesn't reflect the majority of Spaniards nor the people native to the country. She's an Islamic invader. Do you think Disney's first South African princess will be a Dutch woman? Would Disney present such a character in a positive manner? Would they depict the natives as villains?

      - Disney no longer makes new white princess and in fact, is going out of their way to replace their existing ones in live-action adaptations. Frozen was a decade ago. You've seen what they've done to Ariel and Snow White. It's gotten to the point where news of that Tangled remake was met with viral fancasting of black and brown people that wasn't met with near universal derision. TLM's commercial failure and Snow White becoming a laughing stock would normally cause some course correction, but this is modern Disney.

Generic looking princess. Just looks like a cross between Moana and Mulan wearing Rapunzel's clothes.

It appears to be romanticizing the Islamic conquest of Southern Europe by presenting a sub-Saharan colonizer as the hero and the villain a native.

    This "movie" LITERALLY, like, L I T E R A L L Y looks like an episode of Sophia the First.

It's really funny how Spiderverse's aesthetic has been taken and applied to other movies to cut down on render costs. You cannot tell me otherwise.

    make movie about Islamic Spain
    probably upset Spaniards
make the Umayyads Black, upset Moroccans, other nafris, and Muslims

the Umayyads, the ruling family of the Caliphate of Cordoba. the Umayyads were founded by Abu Sufyan, a cousin of the prophet Muhammad. is Disney trying to say Muhammad was a Black?
