On some late night show, they asked Dakota if they need to watch the other Spiderman films in order to understand this one and she laughed saying something to the effect,
                >"No, you don't have to know anything about Spiderman to enjoy this film. Trust me!"

She's acting no different than she did during the 50 Shades promo tours. Did you know that she had her own FOX sitcom?

There's studio projects she does for the money and then the indy shit she loves doing. Despite how she feels about selling out, Dakota still did SNL, all the red carpets, all the late shows. She's fulfilling her part of the contract. If she's not doing it enthusiastically enough for you, might I remind you that there's actors who do a film, cash the check, and then refuse to do promotion as promised. Everyone from Jim Carrey to Florence Pugh are bigger buttholes than Dakota.

This so hard. Even Michael Caine pretty much bragged about doing Jaws 3 for the money and shitting all over the movie after the fact. He said he never saw it, but he did see the house the movie paid for. KEK. All big name actors do this. Out of every 10 movies they do, maybe 2 are passion projects. The rest are for money and fame to keep the gravy train rolling. Because what a lot of people don't know is that actors can blacklist themselves. If they turn down role after role, sitting on some creative integrity high horse, eventually they stop getting offered roles. It happens. A lot.

yea she is definitely making it pretty clear that different people in Hollywood work in different ways. She says openly that she doesn't watch most of the movies shes in.. she attributes this to anxiety or whatever.. i don't know it sounds like making a movie needs to be collaborative effort and the best movies will be made by the actors who are actively invested in the outcome of the end product and willing to express that by reviewing and providing input.. But at the same time, in many positions, that is not the actors role. They are a medium that the writer, producer, director, should manipulate to their desired end. The actor really shouldn't be the one reviewing film and saying "that could be re-written, that pause is too long, change that camera angle, that cgi looks cheesey" etc. Unless they're getting writing/producer credits.. If you go out to eat and the food gets to you cold, did the chef send it cold? or did the expediter leave it on the tray too long before bringing it out? who messed up? Did the dishwasher make your food cold?
      >She's yet to be in a good movie afaik
not her problem, shes a millionaire and she doesn't work to make pristine art solely for your enjoyment. SHe works to pay the bills and if she gets to make good art as a consequence, that would probably make her very happy.. But working actors don't have the privilege to wait for the perfect project.

In other words, they're creating art through filters and with bumpers. A paint by numbers isn't a work of art, and this has been the driving force of film (and arguably, the creative arts in general) for the past 5 years or so. Appeal to everybody and you appeal to nobody. Movies shouldn't be a market-tested laundry detergent commercial, yet here we are.

        >Not this AI-written shit or whatever the frick took over Hollywood in the past 4 years
Don't blame AI for ESCG Blackrock diversity requirements.

But this shit is so egregious that it's likely an op of some kind to get SONY (Japan) to sell off the Spidey rights to ~~*Disney*~~. The way Blackrock funding works is to make valuable IPs toxic to audiences for a while so they can be purchased or claimed through debt-settlement by a single entity (Blackrock will eventually change it's name to "Entert-AI-nmentcorp" or some shit) then remove all wokery, supply AI tech for cheap and turn entertainment/content itself into a subscription/fee-for-use model where if you want your home AI to make a Star Wars or Mickey Mouse or He-Man movie with elements borrowed from each, you get hit with a small fee for each element used. And if you upload it, they either get all or most proceeds from views and possibly own any incidental innovations made in your personal mash-up that a large audience suddenly takes a shine to (allowing them to further license a specific sub-genre of mash-up as a "Hot Trend"). After ten year of this they will essentially own every possibly permutation of currently extant IPs and any newly emerging ones.

They're specifically targeting SONY like this (that nutty israelite ceo chick will be working for her tribe in this, not her SONY bosses in Japan) because SONY got ripped off hard by HW israelite scams back in the 80s and now hang onto their properties like grim death. So the israelites are now trying to make Spiderverse movies toxic af in the hopes SONY will sell them off to one of Blackrock's investment tentacles.

Dakota Johnson will be getting a big (hidden) payday to play this part of the "disgusted" star. All these influencers making meme videos are doing for the fake trending not the reality. If you think idiots like that have any sense of what is and isn't a good movie, just browse their timelines and posting history to see where their taste truly is.

      > there wasn't anything "woke" in the movie
LMAO the very concept of a full assemble of female superheroes carrying the film is woke in and of itself. Women don't care about capeshit unless it has atractive, shirtless male leads and/or their bfs/husbands drag them to the movies in the first place. Men don't care about female leads in general unless they spend most of the movie half naked or on tight spandex shoving their breasts and asses on the screen. Instead they keep making these borefests aimed at an imaginary queer feminist audience.

Imagine spending like $100 mil to make a capeshit movie and the footage looks like a cheap WB show from 2009.

Every fricking interview i see with Dakota Johnson in it it seems she has absolute no toughts at all, just an airhead, a NPC

And EVERY fricking movie she is just bland as hell, she is just there to show a pretty face.

No wonder she is a literal NepoBaby
