What do we want?
What should we suspect?
Who should be the first movie Main Villain?
Who should be on the original team?
And should mutants made progress by the end like the Civil Rights Movement to paragraphs?
And what Cameo and good appearances from the MCU should be in it?
They should keep in their own universe
too late
>allegory for racism, the evils of social darwinism and evils of classism with hellfire club and sunspot's dad
>others want them segregated
checks out
>latinx is used to denote gender neutral spelling and pronunciation of latinos
>xir was used as a gender neutral pronoun before they/them caught on
>woman has the word "man" in it
>the plural of woman is women which has the word "men" in it
>human has the word "man" in it
post yfw X-Men was a gender neutral term all along, it's literally latnix but for humans
A moronic shit gringos make up to culturally rape a language?
The gender neutral word for Latin Americans in English is Latin.
"Latin@" while talking in English is spanglish, and if you are talking in Spanish it is latino
Latinx was created by queer Mexicans. The "gringos did it" is just cope from Criollo bootlickers
>What do we want?
Make them from an AU to the MCU, rather than trying to suddenly insert mutants into the MCU, or pretend they were always there.
>What should we suspect?
That they'll try to pretend mutants were always in the MCU, or awkwardly insert them.
>Who should be the first movie Main Villain?
Someone Fox never used at all. At the least, they should avoid using Magneto, Mystique or Stryker. Maybe Sinister, but classic Sinister, not the modern version.
>Who should be on the original team?
I imagine they'll keep the ones audiences are likely to remember, Xavier, Wolverine, Storm, Jean, and maybe Beast.
>And should mutants made progress by the end like the Civil Rights Movement to paragraphs?
How about they not do anything like that? It's been done and it's boring.
>And what Cameo and good appearances from the MCU should be in it?
None.
>>And should mutants made progress by the end like the Civil Rights Movement to paragraphs?
>How about they not do anything like that? It's been done and it's boring.
What?
It's pretty self-explanatory. Don't make them a metaphor for anything and don't do any muh oppression muh rights stories when we could be watching Wolverine fight Omega Red instead.
lame
If you just want the movies Fox already made, go watch them. We don't need to see the same thing all over again.
>>And should mutants made progress by the end like the Civil Rights Movement to paragraphs?
>How about they not do anything like that? It's been done and it's boring.
But hasn't the main problem with the X-Men in the main continuity and In the movie Vice and they haven't been getting anywhere with civil rights s but have actually been getting Significantly worse compared to real life from the time they were created with civil rights in the United States getting better? Case in point Deadpool 2 not being a mutant going to straight campAnd .Mutant jail .
The X-Men have been a minority from their first run. That's like wanting Batman who doesn't dress as a Bat.
That's not what 60s X-Men is about, and you know it. You can do something else with these characters than the same story Fox already gave you seven times. If that's all you want to see, why even bother making new movies?
>The X-Men (films)
Professor X
Wolverine
Jean Grey
Cyclops
Storm
Beast
Colossus
>The New Mutants (TV show)
Magik
Cypher
Warlock
Boom-Boom
the troony from pride month 2022
>Excalibur (TV show supplement to Captain Britain movies)
Nightcrawler
Kitty Pryde
Betsy Braddock
Kwannon
Rogue
Gambit
Jubilee
>Who should be the first movie Main Villain?
I really like the idea of starting with Hellfire Club and building up to an Emma Frost redemption arc.
They aren't going to top Deadpool's Colossus, they may as well give the whole thing to Ryan Reynolds.
I want the MCU to die before they make it gender-neutral X-People
It's going to be The Ex-Men
That title sounds like a family sitcom
>What do we want?
Accurate Costumes
No skeletons
Ororo Storm, Emma, Jean, Psylocke need to be hot and Victoria Alonso needs to stays away from this cast and this movie
The end of conservative female costumes
Respect for source material which Feige never did
No racebending
Focus on the best story
Directors like Waititi and Gunn can destroy the franchise in the first movie
Jesus, OP, your English is terrible. At least I think I know what you're asking.
>What do we want?
I want well-made, competently-directed, well-acted movies that don't shit all over the source material while also bringing something new to the table.
>What should we suspect?
I EXPECT cookie-cutter studio trash that attempts to shoehorn the mutants into the already-established lore of the MCU.
>Who should be the first movie Main Villain?
I personally hope for Mister Sinister, like that other anon. He could be used as the series' overarching villain until a few films in it's revealed he works for Apocalypse. I'd like if Magneto appeared in the first movie, but more as a counter-point to Charles than an outright villain, since they would inevitably make him a hero and after everything he's done in the comics I find the idea absurd. Keep him redeemable.
>Who should be on the original team?
The Original Five and Professor X. Start small, add more as time passes. Have a similar Brotherhood poised against them. Go classic.
>And should mutants made progress by the end like the Civil Rights Movement to paragraphs?
I think that the Sokovia Accords could have an interesting rebirth once people begin to be born with super-powers in the MCU, but I would personally rather they just drop that angle unless they go all-in and have ALL super-people hunted by Sentinels, not just mutants.
>And what Cameo and good appearances from the MCU should be in it?
I'd honestly love if they made the Inhumans and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. canon to the MCU just to frick with people, and have the Inhumans pull their "abloobloobloo we're oppressed by people not wanting their powers to activate" fart cloud shenanigans just to shit all over them since Feige hates them. Since the shows already used Terrigenesis heavily, it could even help ease the transition to say that most died in an M-Day level catastrophe.
More than anything, I just want them to do poor Cyclops justice. Remind people why he used to be one of the main X-men.
The film should be about a young Xavier and Magnito meeting for the first time. Begins to found the Xaviers school of gifted youth. Schism between the two due to their views. Ends with the first formation of the X-Men.
Villain should be Sublime: a sentient virus that can't infect mutants, but humans.
That's just First Class again but with a different villain.
Gambit and Rogue should be on the base team, with Rogue having Carol's siphoned powers
First Villain should be Shadow King.
He represents mutants abusing their powers. Mutants are persecuted and the X-men come from a need to police their own, not trusting flatscan Justice.
Then you bring in Erik for the second movie, who is not abusing his powers selfishly, he seeks to empower mutants but uses terrorism to achieve his goals.
Then you do a proper Days of Futures Past with the MCU available to you. Maybe even Franklin Richard's by that point.
Based on Shawn Levy directing Deadpool 3, I have good feeling that he’s going to bring in his guy, pic related, to be in the movies, maybe even as a mutant.
I want Charles to be 30ish years old and have been a wealthy scholar studying genetics since he's secretly been a telepath since childhood, and he's just begun to discover other "Mutants", the OG X-Men.
Magneto has been around since WW2 and part of Red Skull's dickery, and he ages slow due to his powers.
Wolverine is introduced halfway through the film similar to how they tried to recruit him in First Class except more successful.
They should just say that Magneto manipulates energetic fields and/or frequencies to extend the length of his telomeres and/or regress the age of his self.
I meant to write “his cells”.
I don’t expect Marvel Studios to make a movie as good as “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” or (from what I recall of it and what I’ve seen a second time) “Logan”.
I want to see Robert Englund as Magneto
>What do we want?
no movie
>What should we suspect?
no movie, maybe a filler Disney+ show
>Who should be the first movie Main Villain?
they're all villains now dumbass haven't you read an X-Men comic in the past 20 years
>Who should be on the original team?
nobody cares
>And should mutants made progress by the end like the Civil Rights Movement to paragraphs?
why? what possible good would that achieve in story terms? you're not resolving a crisis by giving beautiful superpowered billionaires more rights
>And what Cameo and good appearances from the MCU should be in it?
none
burn the X-Men to the ground alive they frickin deserve it trash
>what do we want
please no origin movies. just have them as a team already and get to the story/adventure. if there is character development for one person, have a separate movie or animated movie with some guest stars and a smaller cast. actual intellectual dialogue that borders on political and makes it clear that social darwinism is pathetic and primitive garbage
>suspect
i don't have any expectations
>villain
bastion/nimrod, the hellfire club and sunspot's dad
>original team
the original team is already established. if you're talking about main characters for the team, then that's just asking what people's favorites are
Beast
Nightcrawler
Cable
Bishop
Jubilee
Forge
Storm
>progress
yes, which means you have to set a date that the progress is made and have any stories that deal with them being lynched as more important before that time
>cameos
depends on what happens. if they go in to space, beta ray bill and silver surfer, or the Starjammers. but i'm super sick of cyclops, it would be better if havok meets Corsair. GotG might be fun but the cast would be large and unwieldy.
if red skull is a villain, it would just end with magneto killing him. a shared villains and evil organizations and evil corporations would be easier for writing. if it takes place in new york, daredevil. watching daredevil jump every time nightcrawler teleports nearby might be pretty funny
instead of cameos and appearances, just make team up movies that could be animated, smaller number of actors/voice actors
>what do we want
i forgot. Morlocks vs Hellfire Club. team morlock
There won't be any X-Men in the MCU for at least another 10-15 years.
I want the Rogue from the 90's Cartoon.
Flies Around, Super Strong, Southern Belle, Tight Outfit, Jacket, 80's Hair.
I want something inspired by the FBI infiltration of Black liberation groups.
The government sends a young mutant undercover into Xavier's school where he teaches a radical abolitionist post human philosophy. But over time the agent begins to sympathize with The Dream.
Make them their own universe which they won't. Theres enough characters and properties to make their own universe and whatever reason they give to suddenly have mutants in the MCU despite them not existing ever before will be dumb, or will require major retcons to both the characters and the timeline which will cause confusion.
What I want they will never deliver
