Yes she made multiple videos talking about it. She's autistic and apparently has actually had a lot of problems with abi behind the scenes because abi freely speaks her mind and imon doesn't know how to communicate or speak as freely. Seems like she build up a lot of resentment towards abi because of this, then she found a new boyfriend and moved in with him, the new boyfriend has convinced her to drop abi and just to her own thing.

I do a youtube movie podcast and we recently had a guest who's currently a film student. Apparently multiple professors showed them Pixar's Up. It's a decent movie and I'm sure it appeals more to 1st year students than most classics but damn! My older friend who was in film school ~15 years ago knows his classics and is pretty good at pointing out directing quirks and tricks, but the young ones I'm not sure. Then again maybe it's the difference between a 20 year old and a 35 year old.
The industry is changed. They don't want directors that have their own thoughts, opinions, and creative vision. They want directors that do as they are told, and make the process as smooth as possible
I'd say it's the opposite as far as film students go. They're more interested in talking about the we live in a society aspects of movies than the craft. And that's not really a good thing.
