I like this change though, he can’t be a cartoon villain from the get go. When Alicent and Otto are horrified by what he has done he will retreat further into isolation with Vhagar. It makes the incompetence and shame he feels at losing kings landing hit him harder and launches him to full blown schizo believably.

So in the show they make him black and the kids remain 100% white. How do they handle this, lol?

This way it makes it obvious they are and how moronic Rhaenrya is, demanding her bastards inherit the ancestral home of those they are not related to. Killing the real heir to that ancestral home when he dares to point out the obvious.
