This post completely misses the point of how Phantom Menace is about the living force and how the dark side corrupts it. You see this in Anakin and you see it in Qui-Gon. Anakin is this messiah figure born of a virgin that you can tell is a good kid and you see Palpatine take interest in him which leads to his downfall.

Darth Maul is the physical corruption of the force with the dark side and within Qui-Gon's fight with him at the end you can even hear it in the music. Qui-Gon isn't meant to die. He's meant to guide Anakin but the sith just by existing manipulate the force and destiny. Before Maul stabs Qui-Gon you can hear dark whispers in the room as the living force, destiny is changed the story of Darth Vader is set in stone

        >"I think it is obvious that he [Qui-Gon] was wrong in Episode I and made a dangerous decision, but ultimately this decision may be correct. The 'phantom menace' refers to the force of the dark side of the universe. Anakin will be taken over by dark forces which in turn destroy the balance of the Galaxy, but the individual who kills the Emperor is Darth Vader - also Anakin."

He's in the wrong because Anakin already has too much attachment's but it's obvious the living force brought Qui-Gon to him and he wouldn't have become Vader had Maul not killed him

      >he's the messiah
Yeah he is, that's why it's okay for him to be good at stuff
      >he made C-3PO as a toddler
He's not a toddler and making a droid in the star wars universe isn't as impressive
      >He won the war
He literally failed upwards. He accidentally does a bunch of shit and tries spinning because it is a good trick. The kid "won" by accident

If you don't like the prequels, you were never actually a fan of Star Wars as you didn't understand the point. You think it's as simple as being a generic polished sci fi and it isn't. You should probably go watch the JJ Abrams Star Treks or something.

the thing with revenge I feel like it was wayyy to condensed, it could have easily been split into two movies.
I heard originally battle over Coruscant was supposed to be 2-3 times as long and was set to include a wayy lengthier and epic Dooku showdown.

"Prequel fans" are all zoomers who grew up with them as their first Star Wars movies. There are no exceptions. In 10-15 years, all of the Gen Alpha tards who grew up with the Disney Nu Wars flicks will talk about how they are underrated classics, just like how you prequel gays do now

And they don't deny it. It's the OT Gen Xers who somehow had it in their mind that the kids movies they watched when young were actually serious and sophisticated cinema and that the PT wasn't quite up to their now adult taste.

If you watch them end to end they are just as cheesy as one another, just as over the top, just as dramatic. There are occasionally distracting special effects in either. There are no real criticisms of the PT that can't be leveled at the OT and that's how you know the hate is from morons with rose colored lenses for the thing that was THEIR childhood.

The prequels were my childhood. The original trilogy is much better. Next.

Hayden for me is the best actor ever in the history of cinema, George found something special in him and it's a damn shame the PT writing filtered so many homosexuals.

Exaggeration, but I think Hayden portrayed Anakin 100% perfectly. I despise RLM homosexuals who hate the prequels because of the memes. I loved them as a kid and I love them now.

Nope, born in exactly 1990 and watched my uncle’s VHS copies of the OT probably almost a dozen times before watching episodes 1-3 in theaters at their respective premieres.
