For the past year or so I've had Pluto TV. The commercials suck, but the variety of stuff they have makes up for it. Recently I've just been putting on Garfield and Friends and going through all 7 seasons and movies, its comforting to watch a show about food and sleeping from when life was good.

For the longest time I thought Nermal was a girl. The voice actor is a woman, and she sounds like a woman. Then there's the eyelashes and other mannerisms.
But Nermal is a male. Maybe all those feminine attributes are due to him being a young kitten.
That's hard to believe. I always thought she was female and will continue to believe that. The entire gimmick behind the character is that it's the obvious romantic interest for Garfield but Garfield is too dumb and/or lazy to give a shit and is just annoyed by her.

I put Pluto on in the background sometimes. They've got some horror channels and a cool Godzilla channel. Sometimes the other channels are playing good stuff too.
Don't have cable anymore so this is basically cable.

This is why I can’t watch regular TV anymore. Even boomers had it better with shorter and less annoying commercials
I know it's weird but I find some of the Pluto bumpers with the ethereal music to be oddly soothing
The actual Pluto bumpers are nice when you have that 30 seconds between shows but the commercials are cringe. I’ve trained myself to hit the mute button as soon as the show fades out to break
have they fixed the issue where the commercials cut in at random times in the middle of sentences even if the content has built-in fades for ad breaks?
tried using Pluto years ago and stopped after like an hour because of how annoying that was
The biggest problems I have now is that sometimes the channel list freezes and I can’t change any channels or I’ll switch to a channel and it will freeze and go into a 10 second loop playing that part over again until it gets unstuck
Also the commercials are way louder than the shows

Yeah Pluto has a nice "aesthetic" with the music and the colors they use.
The commercials you see on Tubi and Pluto really clue you in to the average free-streaming viewer. Lots of ads for HIV drugs, menopause drugs, and general black people ads.
