I really like a lot of the designs for imaginary friends they showed off in the behind-the-scenes clips.
Foster's has a very iconic and distinct artstyle but I feel like it's a concept that has no problem working in live action. In my experience at least I tried to imagine how my imaginary friends would look in photorealistic quality even if I don't draw them that way

So have many previously established straight cartoon girls, but that’s never stopped the cartoon industry from turning them gay. Besides there’s nothing that indicates that Goo is straight either, all I saw with her and Mac was friendship. Those two being of the opposite gender didn’t make it inherently romantic like some people think.
God tier comfort show with a great art style and background art. Kind of wish they did some more dramatic and heartfelt stuff like in the movies, Destination Imagination is great. I wish the reboot was more in that style but it's gonna be a preschool thing, lame.

My favorite non-special episode is the one where Bloo steals the Mansion's Bus.

Before the thread ends I have one last question for you all: Do you genuinely like Goo as a character or do you just fetishize her for being black? I'll admit she can be a pain in the ass to hear at times and I do think she could've had more focused episodes and interesting stories to tell in the original series rather than just being a secondary character the writers didn't know what to do with. Also, I really like seeing her shipped with Mac but I just don't buy the whole BLEACHED and BWC thing anymore.

Heh I kind of like this idea, mostly because I like it's obvious how important mac is to goo. Maybe have it be a mix of him being oblivious to this and her feelings. Like they are hanging outside of foster's and Goo feels left out as she herself said she has no friends so she can't do human interaction well. But we know Mac may not be a social butterfly but he's a likeable kid with a few friends but seems to not want many human friends but can not be a social moron lol.
Another thing they should have done, in the last episode where everyone thought Mac was moving away, have Goo think the same and have her be sad thinking Mac is moving that she hugs him tightly and kisses him, maybe Frankie also remarks "Oh yeah, you have to say goodbye to your girlfriend", before Mac denies again, Frankie breaks out crying screaming how cruel fate is to separate two young lovers.
Honestly this spike in Goo’s popularity on Cinemaphile is probably just a contrarian response to Frankie’s popularity. Some people are genuine in liking Goo but others are bleachedgays and Frankie dislikers.

Looking back at this show in my 27, I realized that the characters are driven by bad faith traits mainly Bloo and Mac, the characters are super flanderized, specially Bloo and the only good episodes is the specials like Destiny Imagination and the Wilt special, I like some episodes like Mr. Herriman teaching Coco how to be a lady. My favorite non-special episode is the one where Bloo steals the Mansion's Bus.
My favorite characters are Frankie and Wilt.

I'll admit she can be a pain in the ass to hear at times and I do think she could've had more focused episodes and interesting stories to tell in the original series rather than just being a secondary character the writers didn't know what to do with. Also, I really like seeing her shipped with Mac but I just don't buy the whole BLEACHED and BWC thing anymore.
It would be nice to have more episodes with her, at least we could've known her better. Same goes with Louise.

A Mac, Bloo, and Goo adventure episode that takes place outside the Foster's Home would've been pretty kino if you ask me. The two of them would look like they're flirting with each other while Bloo and his buttholery goes to Mac and says "psst, I think she likes you."
Heh I kind of like this idea, mostly because I like it's obvious how important mac is to goo. Maybe have it be a mix of him being oblivious to this and her feelings. Like they are hanging outside of foster's and Goo feels left out as she herself said she has no friends so she can't do human interaction well.
