>Sareth is a distractingly bad actress.
This, she just comes off as really tryhard and cringe. Even if they're going for the girlboss-type character she's overdoing it.
>Sareth is a distractingly bad actress.
spot on, although I think the character herself is just annoying. even in-universe she's just a dilettante with nothing to actually back her status.
Sometimes it seems like she's intentionally annoying but I can't tell for sure. Often writers make 'good' characters annoying when they intend to kill them off so I hope it's just that.
I mean, Trantor about to get glassed so maybe. On unrelated note was anyone surprised by Spacers NOT going full moron and just commiting treason because some random guy told them it was a good idea?
This. Trantor has been the only interesting part of this trainwreck since season 1, but even there, they can't stop themselves from shitting it up with the occasional smug mulatto woman here to show the toxic male how things get done. In season 2 there was that priestess c**t who made him go on some kind of pilgrimage, and now it's Sareth. Once she gets killed off maybe we can have a few episode of Pacekino again until the next hag shows up.
I just bought binged the show after reading about it on here last week and yea she is. Just half the time she feels like she's in a highschool Romcom show. Empire had more Kino moments in season 1 in my opinion....overall it's decent but just sad that good high budget sci fi is so hard to find.
These two feel like they don't belong in this setting. I'm having an extremely hard time sympathizing with the revolutionaries because of it. It's so jarring considering what a great character the Emperor is.
I can only watch emperor scenes it's crazy how it feels like completely two different productions. One is pure Kino and the other is just mutt nonsense.
More than halfway into the latest episode and it's been nothing but Gaal and gay admirals. Fricking hell. Can they move the plot forward at some fricking point, I don't want to look at old men kissing and african tribesmen on some distant planet.
Brother Constant is the shit. That awkwardly thirsty bit was cute. I think the writers don't really know what to do with her. Which is sad because the actress CAN actually act.
S01 Empire would have killed this b***h already, she told him things she could only know if she had access to the Empire secret data, are the writers actually trying to destroy the only good part of their show?
Also the actress playing the queen is awful.
im really struggeling to understand what story this shot is trying to tell. the whole seldon-gael-whatever arc is all over the place and i really fail to see why they do things and what those things actually are.
the empire arc is somewhat interesting even though im not sure who to root for. the new queen is annoying as frick (i think i get what shes up to but damn, why is she so hostile. be smart dammit) and i think im not supposed to root for lee pace and demerzel even though they are carrying this whole show.
>the whole seldon-gael-whatever arc is all over the place and i really fail to see why they do things and what those things actually are.
Second Foundation setup.
Problem is the entire show is taking the wrong approach compared to the source material which is, essentially, people speculating about events in a room. Someone posted it ages ago as a comparison, but a good adaptation would really resemble something like The Man from Earth in terms of how it's structured.
tbh I think the show should have been somewhat like a mockumentary. with animations, reenactments, experts and survivors sitting in a room explaining stuff, getting emotional and all. grainy vhs footage. news clippings whatever. you know like the dramatized documentary series on netflix.
israeli Black folk
Did Osama really name his terrorist group after this book?
No he didnt, Al-Qaida means "the List"
>mfw they insist on making it about character drama
I don't care about anyone in the show except the emperor. If he dies or whatever I'll just drop the show.
This goofy show is weirdly enjoyable to me. Season 2 is far more consistent than season 1 though Sareth is a distractingly bad actress.

Not before it breaks…
The
Gay general and his Destiny…
is there any significance to his backstory? because so far any well trained guy could have done his job.
>significance to his backstory?
Yes…to die.

I started warching this show thinking it was an adaptation of the books, and I've only been more and more disappointed with every subsequent episode.
The only good thing about this is the empire character. I just skip every scene with those disgusting looking mutt girlbosses.

Empire is the best thing about this, Lee Pace and Terrence Mann are brilliant as Day and Dusk. Everything else is just shit. Even Harris is crap.

just wait for their upcoming twerk competition
QTTT

No she can't act. None of them except Mr kink, pace, robo mummy can act. They're all bad actors
Mr kino*
Fun fact: the fat cleric girl is the daughter of a casting agent.
>Isabella Laughland
HOLD ON
I knew I saw her somewhere years and years ago.
>Mr kink
who?
season one empire plots were unfiltered kino
amazing visuals too
season two is ass so far
Yet another episode where literally nothing happens and the plot doesn't move forward. Getting tired of all shows doing this for the past 5 years
I listened to these on audiobook. I couldn't imagine it being adapted for TV. Once I seen it was Apple i knew i wasn't going to watch it
Everyone is talking about foundation they are on the edge of their seat wondering what will happen next
tone it down a bit
Is 207 already out on appletv?
the only redeeming qualities about this shit is the scenery and the gay elf king, that's about it.
barely worthy enough to pirate/stream for free if you have nothing better to do with your sad-ass life
>get the budget adaptation Foundation properly would require
>completely frick up everything else
Shit sucks.

Makes sense, if the Empire dies because the Emperor Day turned himself into a major cuck and simp, so be it. Cuckohistory was right after all.

SHEZA STRONK INDEPENDENT WIMMIN THAT MAKE EMPERORS KNEEL AND LIK DA PUZZI

>50 years into future
>intergalactic space travel, cloning, teleportation is possible
>people are still balding
fkin kill me i going bald too
Balding is a moral failure, not a physical one
>finally got a good episode after the rough slog that the last two episodes were
thank frick
This filth bears no resemblance to the Asimov stories. It’s dead. Bury it. Consider this mercy.
Asimov would probably love it, though. He lost his mind.
AIDS does that.
Season 2 has been more consistently entertaining at least. But it's obvious they're going to frick up the Mule instead of making him Jar Jar Binks.
why are all of the spacers black women
Because Dey here.
Every character in this shit show is a black woman kek
>Every competent character in this shit show is a brown/black woman kek
fixed that for you
