Nah the South Park guys are far more talented. After all they are better songwriters, so much so they were nominated for an Academy Award. If anything I'd say Seth is a better children's cartoon writer and a better SciFi writer too, but he's not a good adult cartoon writer, and if the earlier seasons were funnier well thats because he had a funnier crew that understood good cartoon humor, I say that because when you look at the credits for FG in the earlier seasons you'd be surprised how many artists worked on well known kids cartoons
Family Guy likes to joke about Bob's Burgers because the main voice actor voices for Family Guy too, and did so long before BB. Same reason Archer made fun of Bob's Burgers, because both their MCs have the same voice

Animation is hard. Making a show is hard and takes so many people. Yet somehow it went through and got made.
