Frank Castle - the Punisher

Why is he hated so much within Marvel Comics? He’s one of the best sellers they actually have in comics. So monetarily it makes no sense how hard they’ve tried to alter him and then try to disappear him.

Even his mediocre runs start off strong in sales before readers realise it’s not good. Years = the run it refers to as well since they’re all just called punisher obviously

And the funny thing is he hasn’t had the huge boost from movies. They all performed mediocre. Only the 2004 one was actually good IMO.

Punisher in Daredevil was the best live action depiction. But his own show was awful and regressed his character massively while trying to turn him into Jason Bourne. Yet even that show was actually really popular with viewers.

Not optimistic for Bernthal’s return in Daredevil’s new show on Disney plus since they just won’t let things be as edgy overall, and the quality of the shows generally sucks. (Not to mention the whole reboot the show had with new writers and filming new stuff after already finishing it because it sucked so bad. Not promising)

Clearly he gets love from live action producers. Why is marvel comics problem with him?

a white guy killing badguys with guns? Have you forgotten how the police broke into Breoniqua T'ay'l''or's house, and executed her and her boyfriend while they slept? Tonedeaf.

Franks hero is a government patsy wearing the USA flag on a goofy costume.

He Idolizes him because government or no government, costume or no costume, Cap is a nice guy who does good for the sake of good. Frank has even told the police to stop worshiping him and that Captain America is a much better role model for a cop.

Does the Punisher actually fight black criminals a lot? I only saw him doing that during one scene in Punisher Max, a random street gang.

Mainly he fights the Italian mafia who are endless in the marvel universe for some reason. It’s very rare I’ve actually seen him shoot random black gangsters in New York. Even though New York is very black. Rarely Hispanics even

Shooting a woman on accident when returning fire from someone else shooting at you is factually not a execution.

the sad part is if cops do that to people, punisher would kill the cops. punisher would avenge her death.

      >the sad part is if cops do that to people, punisher would kill the cops. punisher would avenge her death.
If he witnessed it himself and it was self evidently non debatably 1000% malicious evil murder yes but he sure as hell would not do so just because far left extremist and the mindless mob call it murder with no evidence like the shit heel fricktard above.

      ---

Breonna Taylor = Accident (even if you think it was negligent, Frank doesn't kill over that) There was factually no malicious intent by the cops.

Jacob Blake = 100% justified (couldn't tackle him because holding knife, already tased him and he shrugged it off, could not let him drive away because children in car, reached for potential gun after being warned many many times to show his hands)

Tamir Rice = The cops pulled up way too close to him but it was still justified. Cops don't have X-Ray eyes and the kid was pointing a life like toy at them. Frank would not kill a cop because they panicked in fear.

Tyre Nichols = Yes Frank might go after the cops here if they weren't charged. There is ZERO justification for them standing him up and taking turns punching him over and over while cuffed and I say that as a defender of cops throwing punches during actual arrest.

Daniel Shaver = Biggest example where I could see Frank possibly going after the cop. Depends on how malicious Frank thinks he was from the footage.

Just corruption when they lied in order to get a search warrant.

Having the wrong address isn't a lie.
Corruption is taking bribes and working with/for criminals not trivially breaking the law to hurt criminals.

They lied to the judge. They had already been doing surveillance to the packages going to the house and couldn’t find anything suspicious, so they lied on the warrant that in order to be allowed to go in.

        >Tamir Rice

this is the case where a cop was found to be completely incompetent, then moved 1000 miles away to his new job as a cop, and then upon showing up in frame for the video, took 3 seconds to kill the kid right?

I think there is a good case for the punisher to do something with that one.

The leftist pedos that run Marvel/Disney hate the fact that the police & military use the Punisher logo, particularly the units that track down and take out child trafficking rings.

The skull to them represents Santa Muerte the patront saint of narcos, they worship her as a saint of death. If you see a cartel member with a skull tatoo it's not becasue he's a fan of Frank Castle and what he stands for.

They were badges. It was literally the punisher logo with a Mexican flag on the forehead. I’m pretty sure 95% of people who wear the skull think comics are of pussies anyway.

Q also posted the Punisher logo many times and so MAGA types started doing the same, they thought that it was a warning to the 'elite' child abusing pedos like Clinton, Podesta, etc. But as you know frick all happened with all that BS

    >one of marvel's best selling because some of his first issues sell good
Sorry anon but Punisher is consistently a C tier character with his comics selling that well. And judging by the majority of Punisher threads these days it's no wonder why. Anons can complain about politics all they want but they're the ones still going on about it.

And you gotta think, Punisher is like Marvels Joker in that he is a fictional character who has been tied to some real world violence. For example when they raided Christopher Dorners safe house, they found Punisher comics and memorabilia everywhere. Some people think that’s where he got the idea from. The last thing Marvel/Disney wants is to make a Punisher Movie that’s inspires impressionable morons to take justice into their own hands like they thought the Joker movie would. it’s unlikely, but as a studio you’d still have to write it a certain way to be safe.
