Frasier fans:
>ahh why yes I do believe this show to be the epitome of the comedy of television drama, mmm yes fetch me a double scotch and some Hors D'oeuvres - snacks, mom! If only you were cultured to know
Cheers fans:
>Hey bud, fancy a beer? We need to talk about the girl I got with last night bro, how's it going

Rebecca > Diane
Anything over Diane the prostitute
Don't talk shit about Diane
She was an obsessive psycho b***h and the finale confirms it
She's incredible and sexy and beautiful
She also will never sleep with you
You don't know that.
Never understood why this 4/10 was the focus of "babe magnet" Sam.
Fraiser you're drunk.
I was gonna say something like "Sam could have backed away from that relationship at any time" but he only really develops the tools to do that in S10-11. Interesting that losing his corvette leads to escaping Diane for good.
I've been in a couple of situations like Sam honestly, I won't lie and say I'm a chad because I'm not, but they are very strange. Ultimately I'd say its bad because you just end up with a mindfrick because of this girl always in the background when you just want peace. Sam did the right thing in the end
I think we're socially obligated to bug you for stories now.
Its nothing too interesting other than "girls who are friends, but more than that a bit, but not really, everyone around you speaks as if you are and how perfect you are together, you reel in and out" kind of situations. Mostly by girls who don't know where their mind is at, but you get on so well with that flirting is a natural part of conversation
>Anon delivers
Well frick anon, you look like a chad from here. In a good way.
Cheers anon but nah, it sucks because the girls you do date are awkward and you get on so well with the friend because it feels comfortable, vice versa with them. I'm more st peace being away from it but I've lost what was a very good friend
all these actors are in their early 20s.
couch was the oldest at 26
>Sam could have backed away from that relationship at any time
Exactly
This may sound strange, but there are people who cannot fathom meeting someone outside of work or other immediate surroundings. Their entire social life revolves around whoever happens to be where they are. They don't have standards they're seeking, they just kinda choose whoever is close by. It's very interesting to see.
>This may sound strange, but there are people who cannot fathom meeting someone outside of work or other immediate surroundings.
Zoomer how is it better to try and meet people by swiping yes or no through a screen? Thr best relationships you'll ever have are naturally born and grown. Gen Z have a lot of problems coming and this is one right here, you can't speak to anyone now without them being weirded out but a DM is all good?
not to go full schizo but if a young ted danson popped up today his bone structure would not fit this generation at all, like he has oldschool chad features
I know what you're trying to get at but you're completely off. Handsome men will always make pussies wet. You can't tell me a Ted couldn't go out tonight and pull a girl
>double scotch
>not a sherry
pleb
True Frasier fans are necessarily also Cheers fans
Nothing to add except that I love both shows and you're all great people.
Lilith's the one that gets me. Always thought Fraiser's violent tendencies (that bit where he almost strangles Diane is memorable) were out of character. Turns out on re-watch that Lilith was violent and Fraiser was picking up her traits. . The individual arcs in Cheers->Fraiser are fascinating.
Why is that guy so brown?
Anyone have that screencap of the anon who got his brother hooked on frasier?
Fraser is the big bang theory with culture instead of science
Making your way in the world today
Takes everything you've got
Taking a break from all your worries
Sure would help a lot
Wouldn't you like to get away?
All those nights when you've got no lights
The check is in the mail
And your little angel
Hung the cat up by it's tail
And your third fiance didn't show
Sometimes you wanna go
Where everybody knows your name
And they're always glad you came
You wanna be where you can see (ah-ah)
Our troubles are all the same (ah-ah)
You wanna be where everybody knows your name
Roll out of bed, Mr. Coffee's dead
The morning's looking bright (the morning's looking bright)
And your shrink ran off to Europe
And didn't even write
>And your husband wants to be a girl
Be glad there's one place in the world
Where everybody knows your name
And they're always glad you came
You wanna go where people know
People are all the same
You wanna go where everybody knows your name
I've loved the anti-troony line in the Cheers song since before trannies were a big deal.
I binged both shows on Netflix way back. Both are very good, I'd do them again if they were still on there. The one issue I can remember having is the 'will they won't they' on Cheers. After awhile it just gets to be cheap suspense and you don't even care anymore. I know people love it but I can't be the only one who finds it gimmicky.
How do you think Sam is doing these days?
I'd bet he's happy.
>sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your naaammme

>making your way in the world today takes everything you got
...
>WHERE EVERYBODY KNOWS YOUR NAME
The problem with Cheers is that it only became good when Rebecca entered the picture.
