I want it to be good. It doesn't need to be great, like the original. Just something passable to help make me forget how miserable life is would be nice.
I read the negative reviews and here's the consensus >the best character is Frasier and carries the whole show >the rest of the characters are very dull by themselves and lack the chemistry the original cast had >David is Niles 1.5 down to the neurosis and physical comedy but the actor lacks the oomph DHP had, so he's a blunder and you forget he's part of the show until he shows up to hang with Frasier and Freddy >Eve (Freddy's roommate) is Daphne-lite with a big secret she's a single mother, she has some good moments but never shines through >bri'ish homie is the second best character and has Niles wits, but still lacks that spark >Olivia is Roz-lite, she even has a Niles-Roz rivalry with bri'ish homie and constantly mentions her sister, which can be this series Maris >the first episode is very dense and the comedy doesn't kick in until halfway through, it's a misunderstanding episode similar to Daphne Does Dinner
>New Frasier
A big part of the appeal of old Frasier, nowadays, is that it's old
People like to watch something from before the revolution, to remember or fantasise about a better world
Wrenching Frasier out of that idealised space into a modern hellscape is probably only going to be depressing
>Tinubu
If that woman is either actually from Africa or her parents were and raised her accordingly, then I'd trust her reviews over about anyone else on earth. True Africans aren't into pozzed shit at all
I'm gonna check it out against my better judgment. I've got Paramount+ from my sister, and the trailer at the end showing Frasier being Frasier was enough to get me to try. Which is the point of that trailer of course, but I just can't see the rest of the cast being anywhere near Kelsey.

wtf? i thought israelites were all about shrinks

I was never expecting it to be on par with the original series just more frasier being frasier and it sounds like it's exactly that
It would be legendary for them to hit another homerun.
It's getting good reviews due to D.E.I.
Don’t you mean I.D.E.A. now?
you can tell they are trying to be kind lol
pretty pathetic
I tried to get into the old Frasier but holy shit does it feel like it's made for people 2 generations before me 20 years older than me.
...it was
Just embrace the glorious 90's
And never start a sitcom at the first episode
Has Boston ever had a good sitcom besides Cheers?
The Depahted was pretty funny
kek, anybody remember Undercover Brother?
>wypipo be watching frasier and shit
Black people watch Black Frasier though. It's pretty much the same but more homophobic
>tossed salads and mouth sores
what did frasier mean by this?
just ate seven eggs, lying down watching season 4 atm. extremely comfy.

Now I know they're paid reviews.
That or it's pozzed as frick.
That review seemed the fakest of all

People underestimate how transcendental a show like Frasier can be.

WOW, RT loves it! Now I really can't wait to see it.
>Cinemaphile can't wait for more reboot/remake/sequel slop
