What are you going to do with that?
I don't know. What is a boy to do?
By episode 3 he comes out as trans.
Checkem.
Frasier bros…our response?
does it count if my wife acts like my mother?
I can't sleep. This is fricking huge. The most important television event since OJ.
Does anyone have that greentext of that one anons autistic cousin turning into Frasier after introducing him to the show?
Yes, what a great greentext
I feel I am one of the few on this board willing to give the reboot show a chance. My reason is it looks like Kelsey Grammer and Nicholas lyndhurst seem to be good friends and Kelsey has watched Only Fools and Horses. I just want to see people give a shit in what theyre making.
True this. Wife and I are planning to give it a chance.
Money plane.
Will Daphne make an appearance?
I think the show her actress was on got canceled, so maybe in season 2(13)
Did they get even one of the original writers/producers for at least consulting? I know the Angels died but the soul of the show was the top tier casting and witty writing
>After the death of his father, Frasier stops in Boston to see Freddy.
>After the series finale, Frasier moved to to chicago and married Claire, but they divorced. We also learn that Frasier had his own TV Show ala Dr. Phil, which quickly turned into a circus. There's plenty of flashbacks to that.
>He visits Freddy, unannounced, and both start bickering. Frasier meets Eve, Freddy's roommate with a big secret (she's a single mother) and a fan of the Dr. Crane show. Freddy introduces her as his girlfriend.
>Later, Frasier meets with Alan and Olivia. Olivia is trying to woo Frasier into Harvard's psych department, not for his talent or skills, but because he's a celeb and she it hopes he will lure more students and money to the department.
>Frasier tries to reconnect with Freddy and helps him throw a dinner. Dinner quickly snowballs into a disaster and it ends with Freddy and Frasier having a bittersweet conversation on their relationship and Marty. Frasier decides to take the job at Harvard.
>Oh yeah, David shows up at some point.
The episode doesn't get good until halfway through, mind you. Even the live audience remains mostly silent or barely laughs until a visual gag happens.
sounds OK I guess. Maybe they shouldve spread out the heavy stuff over a few episodes
I guess I'll give it a watch, I want to know more about what he did after getting off the plane
At least Niles shows up, that is good. I will watch it, because I must. Frasier is too close to my heart
think "David shows up" refers to Niles and Daphne's son
David as in Niles & Daphne's son, not David Hyde Pierce.
>we also learn that Frasier had his own TV Show ala Dr. Phil, which quickly turned into a circus. There's plenty of flashbacks to that.
Sounds ripe for comedy
>After the series finale, Frasier moved to to chicago and married Claire, but they divorced
I understand the need but I am tried of this dynamic
what if we put fraiser in a normal sitcom about a dad not knowing their son.
I know this is a Frasier thread so the answers will probably be obvious but I want a nice sitcom to watch and I'm wondering should I watch Frasier or Seinfeld.
If you're looking for something nice and light then Frasier is what I'd recommend. I love both shows but Seinfeld's humour can get a little angsty and dark. Honestly both shows are attempting to do entirely different things so it makes little sense to choose one over the other. If I was in your position. I'd just watch a few episodes of Seinfeld and Frasier and see where that takes me. One thing to note is that Seinfeld takes time to hit its stride whereas Frasier has had its character down to pat from the very start (because its a spinoff show) so the first season is incredibly polished.
>Seinfeld episodes I'd recommend for a new viewer:
The Pen (S3E3)
The Limo (S3E19)
The Chinese Restaurant (S2E11)
The Subway (S3E13)
The Parking Garage (S3E6)
Nothing changes. The last few seasons were completely awful. This new gay season will be awful too.
Did we really need 3 shows dedicated to the same character?
No, we needed 5 but alas
