>oh my god did something scary finally happen an hour and 20 mins into the overly grainy 'film' focused on filming the corners of ceilings in the dark!?
The movie literally ends with a cheap jumpscare, worst part of the movie.
The movie was interesting, but clearly should've remained a short film.
Still better than another copycat of the Conjuring or whatever they usually do.
This is the kind of movie that people will be saying they loved from the start in a few years. It's only going to become more important and influential. Try not to be too annoyed when you see people who are sneering at it now singing its praises when the world finally comes around on how amazing this is.
I'll debate with people over disagreements about the quality of pretty much any film but this one, because this movie is objectively bad, so anyone who actually likes it is clearly beyond reason, making it pointless to try to argue with them.
"I appreciate the attempt" or "I see what they were going for" or "it was a cool idea" are all fine opinions to have, but "I liked it" or "It's a good movie" are just plain wrong, they are objectively incorrect opinions, so they will be discarded.
>i'm totally open for conversation and discussions >accept that I am not >and also you're moronic for thinking I was ever open to conversation or discussion
>anon says he will discuss the flavor profiles of pretty much any food >morons whine that he won't talk to them about the flavor profile of the literal turds they're eating
No, it made me angry because of how insulting this was. You can easily tell the hack director forced these shitty jumpscares into the movie because he realised his shit was boring and uneffective.
So much for le experimental horror movie!
OP here, I am also recovering from a lobotomy
no I am not that is false information
That's fine, I thought it sucked, but you're entitled to your opinion.
did I ask?
>oh my god did something scary finally happen an hour and 20 mins into the overly grainy 'film' focused on filming the corners of ceilings in the dark!?
let me guess you want some predictable jump scares and over the top gore

Skinamarink is the real name of a children's song which originates from a 1910 musical.

I appreciate his attempt. Sometimes you have to experiment and see what sticks. It just didn't stick for me.

The movie went from being a pretentious bore to absolute trash the moment that first incredibly cheap jumpscare happened.
