It's literal stealing and copy-pasting of others work at every corner, there's no a single original element.

My point is that all those images its suggesting Star Wars "stole" from themselves stole from earlier Space Opera tropes the like John Carter or Flash Gordon.

The Land Without Stars (whatever the frick that is) is not the first story to feature a woman in a sexy oriental style outfit in space.

Slave Leia seems like it could have roots in a bunch of thing: Dejah Thoris (John Carter of Mars / Barsoom), sword and sorcery artwork of the 70s & 80s, and/or just general 'putting her in a bikini will be sexy'. Carbonite is just cryonics / suspended animation, so something that Lucas and co. may just have read about or taken from plenty of other fictional works. Isn't Vader inspired by samurai armour? Don't get me wrong, Lucas - depending how you view it either copied, stole, inspired-by, homaged - various things however, he waw often taking things that were not unique to specific works. If you want a blatant inspiration then the assault on the first Death Star clearly matches up to the Dam Busters https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNdb03Hw18M

It hugs the ground well and is also quite maneuverable, but the addition of deflector shields was deemed costly and time consuming, so watch yourself. The controls are quite similar to the X-Wing, so don’t worry about additional training.
