he'll forget it in an hour, and then he'll be reminded of it later when someone brings it up to him that he has the shittiest in-casino bakery on the Las Vegas strip. It's basic quality control and why wait to nip it in the bud?
I'm guessing they made one large batch of batter and made all the muffins from it. Couldn't they just add the berries to it and make sure it's homogeneous?
>we bake the muffins from a batter that is mixed with berries. what you're asking would be impossible to do at any kind of timely pace that is required in a kitchen
I’d just tell him “sure thing” and do it for like a day or two before he forgets about it (if he fires me I’ll just tell the media all about his criminal wife).
I'm guessing they made one large batch of batter and made all the muffins from it. Couldn't they just add the berries to it and make sure it's homogeneous?
The fact that everyone ITT is arguing about how best to do this shows that it was an unreasonable request that would just make a clusterfrick in the kitchen.
It wouldn't have to take forever, unless Ace is honestly so OCD he's going to count every single blueberry in every single muffin- which would require him breaking every muffin apart. Just making it approximate rather than exact would be simple. Just fill a cup or half a cup, two table spoons, whatever predetermined volume corresponds to the amount of blueberries wanted, and do that every time. It wouldn't be the exact same amount of berries in every muffin, but it'd be so close nobody would tell the difference.
I had a dream once about this scene and I don't think I was even dream-inserting as the baker or anyone else in the scene I just remember being angry at how stupid a request that is.
How is that even possible? If you make literally any baked goods from a dough that has something in it like chocolate chips/berries/cheese whatever there's going to be some of it in every individual slice or cookie or muffin you create, it's basically impossible to end up with this
a fair request. a bit rudely done, but ultimately he did nothing wrong
Seems really tedious over something he’s going to forget in like an hour and will hold up his kitchen staff when they should be focused on other shit.

>equal amount of blueberries in each muffin
>basic quality control
Are you moronic or something? The whole point of the scene is that Ace is an autist
>Ace is an autist
Which was exactly why they put him in charge of the casino
Do you know how long that’s going to take
I'm guessing they made one large batch of batter and made all the muffins from it. Couldn't they just add the berries to it and make sure it's homogeneous?
>we bake the muffins from a batter that is mixed with berries. what you're asking would be impossible to do at any kind of timely pace that is required in a kitchen
>you know... theres a lot of shallow holes out there in that desert
you can't just put berries in each muffin mold?
then you'd just have blueberries at the bottom of the muffin
that requires more work than dumping a batch of berries into the muffin mixture
I’d just tell him “sure thing” and do it for like a day or two before he forgets about it (if he fires me I’ll just tell the media all about his criminal wife).
It's not worth getting whacked over some muffins.
A more reasonable request would be to add more blueberries in the batter
>You’re an autistic manchild. Get the frick out of my kitchen. If you don’t like the muffins, fire me.
>make sure it's homogeneous
if you stir blueberry muffin batter too much it breaks the blueberries and turns it into a blue blueberry stew
it truly was asking for the impossible
pour a little batter to each mold
toss in some berries
finish pouring from a higher height so that itll mix by the weight of the falling batter
The fact that everyone ITT is arguing about how best to do this shows that it was an unreasonable request that would just make a clusterfrick in the kitchen.
the clusterfrick cannot remain in the blueberries, if it has to take place in the kitchen so be it. your post has a big non sequitur
now I want blueberry muffin
ive got blueberry bushes and always meant to try it out and i still need to
i love blueberries
nothing like a fresh muffin out of the oven
I've got blackberries

Every scene in Casino is a gem, even random moments that last a few seconds are memorable, it’s insane
I had a dream once about this scene and I don't think I was even dream-inserting as the baker or anyone else in the scene I just remember being angry at how stupid a request that is.
It's easy to sympathize with the chef until you see what the muffins looked like
What the frick was his problem?
those pumpkin pie look bussin though
How is that even possible? If you make literally any baked goods from a dough that has something in it like chocolate chips/berries/cheese whatever there's going to be some of it in every individual slice or cookie or muffin you create, it's basically impossible to end up with this
I think those are normal and blueberry muffins together, they just make them on the same tray. I don't think OAceD would hire a chef that bad.
damn son
he really was a slimy israelite frick
all he had to do was give the redneck a job
>From now on I want bilberries instead of blueberries in each muffin.
American blueberries are garbage and he knew it.
I realised after watching this movie for the 2nd time that I'm literally him
We were good muffins, you understand? Like, you'll like this guy, he insists on a good muffin.
>make muffin
>put exactly one blueberry on top
There, enjoy.
