Can you imagine harnessing the sheer power of a hive of bees? Who could even stop him?

Sorry for disappointing you, guys, but it's just a generic action movie but the main character's hobby (before he gets dragged back into a life of action) is beekeeping.

So what are you saying like he dies and turns into the bees? Do the bees devour his body or does their honey glue him back together?

      Anonymous

So how does his job impact the plot? Does he use what he learned as a beekeeper in his assassinations?

        Anonymous

Probably just finds beekeeping peaceful and calming because he's used to much higher stress jobs.

I don't see how that could be calming working amongst a bunch of highly evolved predators. One wrong move and you're done.

Reminds him of his old job without being that job.

He got it kind of wrong. He's a top level government assassin known as a "Beekeeper".

      Anonymous

That's not true. He's part of an organization called Beekeepers because of their hive-like tactics.

      >government wants to sample his bees and take a queen
      >he says no it will disturb their balance
      >fight ensues, gov guys get ass handed and run tail, part of his farm is ruined
      >home alone/tower defence style government shenanigans except beeman has guns
      >he is left with nothing but 1 queen and a few bees, his flowers ruined, barn destroyed, all for nothing basically
      >he decides to retaliate and take some of their bees, blows up part of the building (think die hard)
      >movie ends with him sprinkling flower seeds and it starting to rain
I've seen it, 7.5/10 becomes generic stratham with call backs

The Beekeeper vs. The Bricklayer, who wins?

Bees are naturally weak to bricks but I say it's still a close call.

      >tfw I'm the only person in this thread who actually watched The Bricklayer
Let's just say that The Beekeeper will genuinely impress me if it's not better

In your opinion then who would you say is better, the Bricklayer, or the Beekeeper? Strictly judging on their skills at beekeeping exclusively that is.

          Anonymous

Well the Bricklayer isn't even good at laying bricks, so I'm pretty sure his beekeeping abilities are terrible.

It's already out? I watched a string of action previews the other day and figured they were all months off. The other one was something like Lands of Bad, reminded of of that archer quote about a zone of danger. It has the other two Hemsworth brothers and my boy Russell Crowe.

Yeah it came out a few days ago.

Glad to see Statham still getting lead roles in action flicks. Ruse de Guerre was OK but the Meg 2 was awful.
