The entire point of the daycare is the choice of being in an ever revolving number of kids. They'll never "Grow up" because they'll just be replaced next year, they never have to worry about being abandoned but they'll never have that special connection with a kid again. In the end they had to choose to give up the dream of a perpetual childhood with Andy and move on to making a real connection and special childhood with someone else.

Frozen 2 was okay. Everyone here just imagined Anna and Elsa never seeing each other again, which was immediately disproven, and chose to obsess over that for the last four years
My problem was that is really felt like it bungled whatever it was trying to do. Mind you, Frozen 1 stumbled a bit as well, but Frozen 2 felt like it was tripping over its own feet.
I liked where stuff ended up, and I think there were a bunch of nice scenes and some good Elsa/Anna interaction, but the rest of the time it feels like they didn't really know how to smoothly get between scenes. So the plot just felt like it didn't connect together very well, especially towards the end when all those plot threads started tying together.
I'm sure that Frozen 3 will be pretty and will have fans, but I don't have much hope for how good the story will end up. No clue if they're just going to can Frozen 4 or if it will be a massive best seller either; I feel like two sequels so close to each other will cause problems for the later movie. Disney is so ridiculously controlling of her and Frozen in general that they forbid Square Enix from making her a boss fight or an ally in KH3, Sora, Donald and Goofy barely even get in a few words to her, they're just relegated to being thrown around in the background while Frozen scenes are recreated verbatim without their involvement
I AM NOT FRICKING KIDDING, they talk to her for one scene and for the rest of the world she's constantly at a distance from them, they get sucked into a plot wormhole to fight some random heartless while the story ends independently of them
During Frozen 2, the only time the documentarians weren't allowed to record was during a huge meeting where the execs took the creative directors to task for planning on killing Elsa off and forcing them to keep her alive for more sequels
The last 2 or 3 movies Disney had that included lesbos flopped and were met with massive controversy, there's no way in hell Frozen 3 is going to be anything but completely safe family friendly doll-selling crap

It's kinda crazy how little Sqeenix stuff is in KH. TWEWY was the last one I recall from like a decade ago, and they had less presence than Tidus&co in the first game
I remember hearing that SE stopped wanting to include their stuff in KH because all of the legalese that Disney bolted onto the franchise over time to protect their IPs applied to the SE characters and any others as well, which made using those characters *outside* of KH like walking through a minefield. So they don't want to include any actually popular characters that they expect to do other crossovers and stuff with, because its just too much hassle.

Gos the Frozen world was so fricking terrible in KH3. My friend who had been a fanatic KH fan quit the game because of it and didn’t finish it for 3 years (to be fair the rest of the game was mostly average to shit but Frozen was the straw the broke the camel’s back etc.) Just imagine if they had had Elsa kill one of the darknesses or have an ice duel to save anti-aqua or something. People would have went apeshit for that and it would have only improved her standing in the eyes of everyone. Goddamn brand maintenance from disney probably made that world in particular trash

Not to mention talking about Frozen 4 immediately afterwards. If you have that much more story to tell, why the frick are they suddenly working on a 4th movie before they've put together the 3rd? Put the story in that one!
Frozen 2 was okay. Everyone here just imagined Anna and Elsa never seeing each other again, which was immediately disproven, and chose to obsess over that for the last four years
My problem was that is really felt like it bungled whatever it was trying to do. Mind you, Frozen 1 stumbled a bit as well, but Frozen 2 felt like it was tripping over its own feet.
I liked where stuff ended up, and I think there were a bunch of nice scenes and some good Elsa/Anna interaction, but the rest of the time it feels like they didn't really know how to smoothly get between scenes. So the plot just felt like it didn't connect together very well, especially towards the end when all those plot threads started tying together.
I'm sure that Frozen 3 will be pretty and will have fans, but I don't have much hope for how good the story will end up. No clue if they're just going to can Frozen 4 or if it will be a massive best seller either; I feel like two sequels so close to each other will cause problems for the later movie. (See: What's happening with Marvel right now.)

Frozen is one of Disney's biggest cash cows at the moment. There is no way they'll do anything even slightly risky with her character. The only ones asking for lesbian Elsa are the insectgays anyway and Disney is not going to want to publicly cater to them.
Asexual would make more sense but even mentioning that would probably be too risky, expect another two movies of "note specified" from her sexuality.
