No, its been a while since I watched it but I remember being bored by the time the CGI aliens were in France
Perhaos something akin to the light novel it was based on where Either Cruise or Rita has to die to escape the looping. However that could'nt happen since Rita lost the looping abilities in the movie
Ending cemented it's status as kino
