Because of the comedy central episodes
They weren't bad
They weren't good either barring a few exceptions.
The Comedy Central run was good. It was rough around the edges and had a few stinkers but it hands down had some of the best episodes of the entire series:
>The Late Philip J. Fry
>A Clockwork Origin
>The Prisoner of Benda
>Benderama
>Overclockwise
>Free Will Hunting
>2-D Blacktop
>Meanwhile
What episodes did you think were bad?
all the ones he did not mention
the show's ESG score will be too high for rational people to enjoy
Zombie reboot.
I'm already digging the grave
>>one of the greatest cartoons of all time
It's good but come on comedy number 9999999999 is not the greatest cartoon.
>it falls into 1 of the 2 broadest categories of genre so it can't be considered
After Disenchanted? Fans are nervous it'll be updated for 'current year' bullshit. Rumors do say that it's in step with previous versions of the series and they really don't change too much but I think everybody is waiting to see.
Disenchanted wasn't that bad
I tried it, was boring
I keep trying to get “Bean being auctioned off as a slavegirl being interrupted by her psychotic father and friends slaughtering the attending crowd”., but bo one wants to do something that complicated for free.
futurama was always topical. it's a commentary on how times change but many things stay the same.
Everyone moved on, it's been too long. It's kind of like bringing back pushing daisies, anyone who wanted that doesn't care at this point
There was no reason for bringing it back. The decline in writing was already showing up in the Comedy Central episodes but at least they were smart to end it before turning it into Zombie Simpsons 2.0.
It's by the same guy who made the Simpsons. Look what happened to that show when it continued forever without ending. The same thing will happen here, fortunately Sci-Fi is more niche than random suburban sitcom episodes so it'll end eventually.
Has there even been a trailer yet?
>show gets a revival
>immediately makes an episode about cancel culture
yeah no thanks
it's coming back for the fiftieth fricking time. at this point it's not a "triumphant return", it's networks coming slinking back to anything with a brand name because their shit's too gay to get over.
Jetsons was better
>Parents loved this show so much they named me Bender
>I've become an alcoholic friend who does menial labor
why not philip or any other real name in the show?
Phillip??
My parents also loved Cinemaphile and Cinemaphile in particular so they wanted me to have a name that will give me all the (you)s
They thought Bender was the best character
Leela’s breasts.
Probably because modern cartoons are all shit.
